Good deal, right? So, I figure why not. Especially since the lobby is full with 2 Italian girls (takeout) and 4 American exchange students (by the slice). Seating is tight, 8 bar stools total. Great place to grab a slice to takeout, not a place to take a date. About 7 minutes after ordering, the whole pizza (about 30cm/12inches in diameter), bubbling cheese and pepperoni, is delivered on a plate and you get a serrated knife and fork to cut it up yourself. No pizza cutters here. I asked the guy about my coke and he pointed to the refrigerator and asked me to grab whatever I wanted. The pizza crust is thin, and the outer crust is crispy and chewy with a light dusting of flour. There were 7 pats of Mozzarella cheese, and many, many slices of pepperoni. On my pizza, perhaps too much pepperoni and too much sauce as the middle part was really soggy and dripping with orange oil and sauce. The guy starts closing down from 9pm, so I finish up and move toward the register to pay. He asks for €9, and I walk and point to the sign on the door that indicates it should only be €6 + 1 = €7. He walks over and reads the sign and says he's sorry! So, again, maybe he was new, but he was still cool about it. Final verdict: 2 stars for atmosphere, 3 stars for service and presentation, 3 stars for quality and taste, 3 stars for cost-performance and my humble evaluation is a 3, that this a very ordinary pizzeria.

I was recommended coming here by some friends who live around in this neighborhood in my study abroad program. As students, we get 3 euro sandwiches; SO worth it considering the quality of what is given. Otherwise, a standard sandwich is around 4-5 euro, depending what you get in it. Still not bad! Finally made a visit here today and got a porchetta focaccia sandwich with stracchino cheese and eggplant. They toast the bread with the meat right in front of you and then add on the cheese & other condiments later so it's nice and crispy. Service is so friendly here as well! The guy at the counter was really patient explaining all the spreads and extras to add in the sandwich. There is also plenty of seating inside and outside the tiny restaurant. This place definitely makes it into my favorite panini places in Florence, the other one being All'Antico which is closer to where my study abroad apartment is.
