I don't usually do bad reviews, but this was to the point that it was horrible. Friday evening we waited for the dinner rush to be over, and came in to eat around 6:20. Immediately we were sat at a table and given chips and salsa. The atmosphere in the front of the restaurant was vibrant and full, well decorated. The back side gets a little darker and could use some polishing up. We ordered apps and drinks. Then we ordered dinner. Queso arrived, both a large and a small, neither ordered by me, but I was offered a bite. The flavor, decent, the temperature: cold to the point it had chunks of cheese in it. I wanted to ask them to warm it up, but my dinner friends said don't complain and it was their appetizer, so I didn't. We watched the staff do a dinner drop at the table next to us. It looked amazing and I was excited for the main course. Literally, two minutes later, the staff came with the same table's birthday dessert surprise with a sombrero and staff lined up to sing. The table was quickly like 'we just got our food and don't want to do this right now'. The timing was horrible, but that was for them to review. The staff scurried off and our waitress brought more chips. My son ordered a combo with a chalupa, taco, and stuffed pepper. He got a taco, a stuffed pepper, and a tostada (flat shell with toppings). When we asked if they could bring a chalupa instead of the tostada, she sent a manager over. I also ordered myself a tostada, taco, and quesadilla combo, and I had a tostada on my plate identical to my son's "chalupa". The manager said the tostada was in fact the chalupa on my son's plate. He said I'm probably used to Taco Bell chalupa's and this is different. I said I have spent weeks in Mexico, and this isn't by definition a chalupa. He said it's TexMex and assured me this tostada was in fact a chalupa in their restaurant. A chalupa is a boat like shell, Even crispy, it wouldn't be flat on the plate, there was no reasoning with him, so I said we will box it up and take it home. We had a party of five with three split checks and were handed the three divided checks at the table. I gave my card for my portion which was less than half of the total bill for the table, $35. The waitress came back to me with my card after charging it for the full table bill $80 and explained it was an accident. They couldn't fix it? Somehow the split check was put back into one check at the computer. So we didn't get the chalupa, my Mexican food knowledge was insulted, and my bill was $85 instead of $35. I plan to call the management today to see if there is a solution to their major mistakes, as I was offered no solution Friday night and charged almost triple. I was also in a hurry to leave to get to another scheduled event that evening and wasn't able to stay to fix the problems at the time. read more

Food is great. I'd skip the shrimp cocktail and ceviche though, FYI. Drinks are tasty, but apparently all are premixed with the same tequila, even the top shelf labeled drinks, per the recipe in "the book." We came in as a party of 5, adults and kiddos, and enjoyed everything from nachos, to birria tacos, chile verde enchiladas and fajitas. Everything was tasty. Our waitress was a bit off when it came to explaining the drinks, but she went the extra mile to check the actual recipes in order to answer our questions. Still not sure how they list regular & top shelf margaritas at different prices if they're premixed with the same tequila... a little odd that no one could tell us which tequila is used, just "the good one." Also asked if the margaritas are blended... the waitress said "No. We blend them with ice." All that discussion around drinks was certainly odd, but the food is good, prices are fair. We'd visit again when back in town. read more

We ate here the first week of December. We were seated without a wait around 5:30 in the evening. Enjoyed our complimentary chips and salsa dip while waiting on our food. The waiter was attentive and brought out our food promptly. I had the chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans. The hubby had two chicken tacos and a chile relleno. Both meals were great. Before we left the place was full and so happy to see that they had ample staff to serve all the customers. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back soon. read more

Food and service is always excellent! The ambiance is lovely for a date night with your partner.

The servers were real pros, very attentive and courteous. We were seated immediately and drinks ordered immediately. Food was delicious. Appetizer was chori-queso, white cheese sauce with spicy chorizo. I had the quesa-birria quesadilla, served with consome. Hubby had the Ranchero Fries and he loved the steak. Oh man, this was so good. Coming from California, I t's hard to find excellent Mexican food in Arkansas so I'm glad it's here. We highly recommend and we will be back to try more!! read more

We came at a very busy time, 12:35 on a Sunday. Our party of two was seated within a very few minutes and received our food within 40 minutes. The servers were buzzing around like bees. Very attentive and literally running to take care of customers. There were several other larger parties waiting. I had the shrimp taco salad, and my wife had a steak sopa. The sopa was normal size, about 4 inches across with lots of thinly cut fajita steak and covered in all of the Mexican goodies. My shrimp taco salad was smaller than some, larger than others. It had eight large grilled shrimp and included grilled vegetables. The food was tasty and somewhat warm. We were thrilled to be seated so quickly during such a busy time of the day. The parking lot was completely full. They are wise to have about 12 large tables that sat between eight and 12 people, perfect for Sunday afternoon. They have a huge variety of Mexican favorites. We will definitely come back! read more
