a loaf of bread wrapped in plastic

I drove 20 minutes on Sunday morning to get breakfast I bought from them falafel and I asked him it's fresh he said yes. When got home this nasty old falafel I throw them away.

Let me say that I Was so disgusted by this place. They seriously need the health department to come out and check them. I went Wednesday purchased some groceries and bought some sweets. $60 almost worth of stuff. They had some damn nerve to sell us moldy helba sweets take a look at my pics it's not cheese it's mold!!! I will never come back here! I called to address it to the lady and she said we should return it for replacing it no apology nothing in that sense of customer satisfaction with all the places in competition for middle eastern sweets how do they survive?! There's no quality control at this place whatsoever. I will suggest take your money and your self somewhere better that they will appreciate business and practice safe food handling too!!!

If you want to buy expired food this is the place for you. I bought a box of finger cookies maamoul in 1/13/2019 and it was expired in 2018. They cut the label in half so you can't tell the date. I'll attach a picture with this review explaining this. The health department should visit this place asap!

This store must be reported and inspected. They sell expired items. Happened to me 3 times although I rarely go there.

I love their Falafel and Kaaek (a round sesame bread) that pairs up great with falafel or olive oil and zatar.

Actually is a pretty good amount of food. The prices are okay for portions. Coming here this is where we knew to go. It's one of the few places in the food court that isn't fast food or other chains typically in a mall. This is one of those places you order at the counter and they make it in front of you. A lot of options to choose from. Prices are okay for what you get it seems. It's about $3 for a lemonade. These come in a few flavors including mint. Had a minty tangy taste to it. The food is a choice of bowls, pitas, or salads along with choice of protein such as beef, chicken, or falafel. It's about $12 for the Falafel Bowl. This has almost unlimited toppings so I had them pile on these. Choose various sauces and vegetables to add. This was actually pretty filling so the name makes sense to be honest. Has to be the best place in the food court. It's located on the top floor. There's plenty of choices for vegans and vegetarians.

I wanted Falafill to be better than it was…read more.. As a Mediterranean food enthusiast. I was very excited to see this as an option in the woodfield mall. The line was pretty long which gave me an indication that it was popular/good. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered their Falafel bowl, with rice and a bunch of their available options. You are allowed to select 4 and then every topping after that is $1 per topping. This seems a bit extreme as they are NOT generous when adding your selected ingredients. I was expecting a much larger portion, but understand they are a business and have to manage their margins. The food itself was fine. The falafel were just ok, and had been sitting in a container, lacking the crispiness and freshness I am used to normally. For the extra options, everything tasted fine, I just felt skimped on the portions I was given. The highlight for me was the hot sauce that they offer. It was extremely flavorful and had a nice level of heat. I would buy that by the bottle if It was available. I think Falafill is worth a try, but you just have to manage your expectations. They do not come close to the traditional mediterranean restaurants I am used to visiting, but for mall food it's pretty good.

It's shawarma and the authentic taste of what comes together in an explosion of taste and flavor is undoubtedly delicious when you walk into the shawarma king your nose signals to the brain to get your taste buds ready if you're not already salivating over the smell. 4 Stars for Shawarma King in Gurnee…read more This is a pretty convenient location and directly across the street from Six Flags Great America, and also close to the 294 highway. The food I had was pretty tasty, I got to try the chicken and beef shawarma plate - very expensive but very tasty, big portion enough for 2 meals. I also tried the beef kifta kabob wrap with a side of falafel- delicious! They threw in an extra falafel as well, thanks! There is also plenty of seating inside if you want to dine in. My only negatives are they do not give free cups of water, you have to buy a bottle if you want a drink. And they only include one tiny cup of hot sauce with your order. Overall, it was a good experience, if you want Mediterranean and you're in Gurnee it's not a bad choice.
