We love the bakery to pick up dessert, pita, hummus, falafel, and cheese breads. Everything is fresh made. The groceries are plentiful and prices are fair. The people working there are always helpful and very nice. It is a good place for Middle Eastern treats and basics. We have shopped there for many years. read more

Let me say that I Was so disgusted by this place. They seriously need the health department to come out and check them. I went Wednesday purchased some groceries and bought some sweets. $60 almost worth of stuff. They had some damn nerve to sell us moldy helba sweets take a look at my pics it's not cheese it's mold!!! I will never come back here! I called to address it to the lady and she said we should return it for replacing it no apology nothing in that sense of customer satisfaction with all the places in competition for middle eastern sweets how do they survive?! There's no quality control at this place whatsoever. I will suggest take your money and your self somewhere better that they will appreciate business and practice safe food handling too!!! read more

If you want to buy expired food this is the place for you. I bought a box of finger cookies maamoul in 1/13/2019 and it was expired in 2018. They cut the label in half so you can't tell the date. Yum! I make errands in the neighborhood about twice a month and since I had about 30 mins to kill today, I found this place and stopped in to see if I could get some sweet and BOY was I surprised! It's a little bakery / grocery store, nothing much on the interior, very typical of this kind of market and they have a nice selection of pastries much like Nazareth Sweets. (Although I think NS does a little flakier pastry with more honey) but delicious none-the-less. As I was paying for my little box of baklava, I saw out of the corner of my eye.....FALAFAL balls! I couldn't resist and tasted ONE and they were DELICIOUS! The BEST falafal ball I have EVER eaten and it wasn't fresh off the grill either. BUT the texture was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The spices were AMAZING and I never noticed alot of sesame in falafals before but this was full of them and it tasted SO good. I will be back again next time! I ended up with 6 of them, eating two of them on the way home! Oh, also get a pack of their fresh baked pitas - they are fluffy and THIck! guess what I'm having for lunch tomorrow? read more

This store must be reported and inspected. They sell expired items. Happened to me 3 times although I rarely go there.

I love their Falafel and Kaaek (a round sesame bread) that pairs up great with falafel or olive oil and zatar.

This place is not even 1 star worthy, it's zero stars. My mother and I stopped getting bread from here because they put out stale bread for sale. The other day we requested my nephew pickup a loaf of Arabic bread on the way. We didn't know he was going to stop here. Unfortunately he did. The bread was BEYOND AWFUL! We threw it away. It was not only stale but it also had an unbelievably horrible taste. About a year ago my cousin went here to get 2 loaves of Arabic bread. She knew the ones on the counter were stale. She requested fresh Arabic bread. After waiting awhile, he brang out 2 loaves. He rang each one up $2 more apiece than their regular price. She asked why the extra $4.00 charge. He replied because you wanted it hot & fresh. This guy deserves no business. It's not right to hope a business fails but when you're cheating the people on a day in day out basis you deserve to be out of business. Bad business ethics and stale goods. I would have never even known about this place if my friend didn't invite me to come with for some grocery shopping. The employees here are the nicest people! I didnt know what to buy so they explained everything to me and were patient with me while I tried to decide. They gave me a free sample of the falafel which was the best I have ever tasted! Avoid this Place!! I went here to place a small catering order. I was rudely greeted by a woman stuffing a falafal in her face and a man who sat behind the counter not saying a word. I placed a small order and was told to come the next day at 2pm to pick it up. I also inquired it they sold tahini sauce to which they said no. I asked if they had a recommendation, to which I got a 1 word answer "No." This is a Middle Eastern bakery in the heart of all the authentic stores and restaurants yet she acted as if she had no idea who sold any! I hesitantly placed the order and said I would be back the next day at 2pm to pick it up. I called the next morning to confirm my order to which the man said it was fine. I got there a little before 2pm and inquired if it was ready. The man said there was not an order and that they were not making any more falafals for the rest of the day. After reminding him that we spoke yesterday and earlier this morning he said they were closing soon and that he wasn't going to fill my order. I mentioned to him that I had guest coming over in just a few hours and the main item was the falafals. He said "No" falafals. Not a I'm sorry, just "No". I told him they don't close until 6pm and that he was blatantly lying to me. I seriously believe this is gender discrimination. He clearly did not want to sell to a woman.
