Falafel & Grill is one of those lowkey spots you end up craving again the second you leave. The falafel is crispy on the outside, soft and herby inside, and everything tastes fresh--not like it's been sitting around. Portions are generous (you're definitely not leaving hungry), and the flavors hit every time, especially with their sauces. It's quick, affordable, and perfect for when you want something filling but still feels lighter than your usual takeout.

Had a wonderful meal at Falafel & Grill last week! I have walked past this place so many times and wanted to try it. So glad I did! We tried a large selection of menu items including chicken and beef shawarma wraps, hummus, falafel, and some waffles fries. The food was tasty overall and the portions were generous. We had enough leftovers for three of us to all take home a box. I also tried the mint lemonade which was fantastic. Next time I have to try the baklava. I enjoyed sitting outside on the patio area. Even though it's in a busy spot, the patio feels relaxed and secluded. Also, the staff here are so friendly and they were very attentive. They made sure our experience was 10/10.

Service was nice and quick. The chicken shawarma sandwich (3.5/5) was good, chicken was a little crispy. I just wish there was more of the sauce. They give a good amount of chicken which is nice! The baklava (5/5) was great and you can tell it's homemade in the best way.

Falafel and grill has the best kebabs for takeout in wicker park. They're my go to for middle eastern food and the portions for plates always last 2-3 meals. The hummus is so flavorful with a hint of lemon. I also love the baba ghannoush (eggplant dip) and lightly air frying the pitas that come with it. My favorite order is the combination meat plate since you get chicken kebab, beef kebab, kofta kabob, and chicken shawarma with their yellow rice, salad, hummus and pita. It's an incredible value and every time the meat is perfectly cooked. It hits the spot every time. It's super easy to order through their website and just check in with the cashier to pick it up.

Ordered a falafel wrap via Uber Eats. Came neatly wrapped and cut in half. Really enjoyed it! Great deal. Looking forward to trying out more food in the future.

We really enjoyed the meat here - moist, tasty and perfect. I also liked the hummus as it was nice and smooth. My major complaint is you can't get a salad with meat unless it's the Greek salad. So I had to order a side of tabbouleh with a chicken kabob on the side. It felt like not enough meat for a full meal. Honestly the combination plate my husband got was huge, we will probably just split one of those in the future!

I love Mediterranean Food so when I say this was phenomenal it indeed was the BEST I've had! The Combination Meat is something I knew I had to try since it comes with 4 different kind of meats along with rice, hummus & a side salad, the meat was seasoned well and cooked to perfection! We also had the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich and Falafel Sandwich, which again had amazing flavors. Then to finish off we had these delicious Mint Lemonade & Mango drinks which were perfect for this Chicago heat! Highly recommend!

First-Their free bread is served hot and fresh, and the sauces they come with are so flavorful! I will always get seconds because they're just that good. -Their Baba Ghanoush was one of the best Baba Ghanoush I have ever had (I don't say this lightly). It was very smokey and savory. The pomegranate on top perfectly complements it. -Arnibit (Cauliflower): People like this one a lot, but I personally think it's just the presentation that is appetizing. It tasted like a regular cauliflower, and I wished the sauce complemented and infiltrated the cauliflower more. It felt like I was eating two separate things. -Mixed Grill: the chicken and the beef were juicy and well made. The kefta was the star. It was soft and so well seasoned, and every time I order it I wish we could have more. My only comment would be that we wish the portions are bigger, considering the price was pretty expensive. This could only fill one person in my opinion. Nevertheless I love it. They also have very specific and unique dishes that you don't normally see at bigger restaurants. We have tried some before and they were not bad (but again just wished the portions were bigger) Overall we recommend this place. Baba Ghanoush and the Kefta are musts!

The miatake hummus is truly a must-order. It's a step above any hummus I've had before. The pita they serve it with is also delicious (and buttery!). The mussels were also a highlight, but a warning - they are SPICY! This wasn't obvious from the menu, and we were surprised upon our first bites. Thankfully our party loves spicy food so this worked for us. The mussels were truly cooked to perfection. The scallops were well cooked but over salted. It was difficult to discern much of the flavor over the salt. This was a bit of a bummer because texturally they were perfectly done. I'd skip the wagyu kebab - for $28 it was maybe 2.5 bites of meet. It's served wrapped around a huge stick, which really just over emphasized the paltry serving size. The chicken farouj was hit or miss. Parts of it seemed overcooked and very dry, while other bits were lovely. Overall this was just an uneven dish. The dessert was unfortunately forgettable. I don't remember anything about it unfortunately. Our server Chris was honestly next level. He knew that menu inside and out and offered very thoughtful suggestions throughout.

I enjoyed my beef shawarma over baba ghanoush plate, ~$11 (it made quite a filling lunch!) although I would've loved if they'd thrown some pickled veg in there. The beef shawarma is a bit different from shawarma I've had elsewhere--almost ground beef-like in texture--but the flavor was pretty good. Their baba ghanoush is also creamier than others I've had, seems quite similar to their hummus, with a lot of tahini mixed in maybe? I didn't love their chicken shawarma wrap in the past, but that might be because I'm not that into their hot sauce. I'd love to get their veggie platter sometime! Service is friendly and quick. I arrived 25 minutes later and they hadn't even made my order. From there, 3 different people told me it'll be another 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes. I ended up waiting 20 minutes and during that whole time there was no apology. One of the workers handed me a tea and later I saw they included dessert in the bag. It was a nice gesture but I was frustrated that it wasn't acknowledged by the staff at all and part of my order was still missing. I paid $2.25 for a Yogurt & Cucumber Sauce which I never received. The Caspian Mix Grill with Albaloo Polo was very good. The filet mignon & chicken breast were both juicy and well-seasoned. The Albaloo Polo is plain basmati rice mixed with saffron, caramelized onion and sauteed sweet & sour cherries. I liked the rice but it felt like they just threw the cherries on top rather than incorporate it into the rice. It was very filling, enough to share with 2 people, and good value. The Bamieh & Balava were also fresh, sweet, and a nice bite to end on. Ultimately, I would give the food a 4/5 and the service a 2/5, hence my 3/5 rating.

From the moment we arrived, the service stood out. We had an 8 PM reservation, but since we were in the area early, Chris B. kindly accommodated us for an earlier seating. (My apologies for forgetting their names). Both were exceptionally pleasant. The trainee did a superb job walking us through the menu, explaining the concept of ordering. We decided on a variety of dishes, and Aba delivered: - Wild Mushroom Hummus: A smooth earthy dish with roasted mushrooms folded into a creamy hummus, finished with truffle oil and herbs. Yummy! - Tuna & Watermelon: A refreshing pairing of tender tuna balanced with juicy watermelon, cucumber, pomergrant seeds and mint. Loved it! - Green Chili Shrimp: Served in a metal dish used for escargo. The shrimp were covered by breadcrumbs and lots of butter with a slight kick to it. Great for dipping your bread in. It did not disappoint! - Pan Seared Halibut: A perfectly seared, delicate fillet, moist and flaky that highlighted the fish's clean, buttery profile. And from the cocktail menu, the Aloe? It's Me.
