Best things are the platters where you get a variety of salads to choose from. The kind of high prices are the worst thing about it . Came in last time to get something as carryout. I got the Falafel Plate. This has a lot of different items on it, which makes it a good sampler. It's about $10 for a fairly good portion. This has falafel over rice. Mostly it seems the big pita is taking up room on the plate. There's garlic sauce, hummus, lettuce, pickles, pita bread, tahini, and tomatoes. Good combination. The only problem is there's not that much of it and the price is kind of high. Has a pretty good amount of seating areas inside. It always seems empty because most get to go orders. I like a little noise in the background instead of hearing everyone's conversations or food smacking. Also I know I'm 47 and my sister is 57, but that menu was hard to read. Hey guys not everyone has 20/20 vision. Geez. Lol. The decor is a tad boring. This place is a clear 5 out of 5 stars for me. I had never had shawarma before I tried it at this place, and it was so good that I'm hooked on it now. Pita Land's shawarma and fries has quickly become my favorite lunch of all time. I liked the food so much that I emailed the owner's telling them how much I appreciated the lunches. In the email I included our routine order, I thanked them for the food, and I also made a brief suggestion that I thought it would be a great idea to include garlic fries on their menu. Their normal fries aren't bad by any means, I just really love garlic fries, and thought they would go great with the chicken shawarma that I order. I kid you not, next time my wife went in to order food, they recognized our order and said "...Did your husband send an email about garlic fries?" lol! That day they made their first ever batch of garlic fries, and they were delicious! I'm very thankful for Pita Land. The people are nice, the place is clean with plenty of booth seating and the food was wonderful. Has a fast food feel without the urgency but your wait will be rewarded. My favorite was the side of potatoes with garlic sauce. Perfectly browned and piping hot. I got the chicken shawarma that was filled with flavor. However next time I'd get it without pickles.
