Place was really good. Got the pulled pork with Mac and cheese. Had a side of jalapeño poppers. No complaints here.

This place is a small, rustic diner serving good New Mexican cuisine. We were here for breakfast…read moreand we left with full bellies. I had the Picadillo and Eggs and this was great - well spiced ground beef with a side of eggs, this arrived with potatoes and tortillas. It was a nice protein-forward meal and a more unique breakfast option, which I appreciated. The space is no-frills and a bit rustic, but they offer good food at very reasonable prices.

HAIR IN OUR FOOD As a Yelp Elite Member, I take my reviews…read moreseriously and always aim to be fair. I don't like giving bad reviews, but this experience left me disgusted and disappointed. The food was good, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. We even packed up leftovers to take home. But just as we were finishing, my grandson's mother noticed a thick, coarse hair on his plate. Finding a hair in food is always stomach-turning, but discovering it after I had already eaten made it worse. It made me wonder: What else did I miss? I showed the hair to our server, who immediately removed the plate--and to be fair, I could tell the hair wasn't from her. The issue was how management handled it: a 10% discount and zero real concern. No apology from a manager, no real effort to make it right--just a small discount and moving on. That response left a bad taste in my mouth. Had it not been for the hair, I would have rated this place 4 stars. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was casual, and the food was enjoyable. But the way this was handled knocked my rating down to 2 stars. We were so put off that, even though our leftovers were packed and ready to go, we left them behind. I debated between 1 and 2 stars but settled on 2 because the food itself was good. That said, this experience made it impossible to recommend this place.

Restaurant is located in an old Burger King which is a great use of an empty building. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. We were told to pick our seat and were attended to promptly. While looking around, it appeared that locals dine here. We ordered breakfast and lunch. Foodie number two ordered the Breakfast Tacos plate (egg, potato, and bacon on flour tortillas). Also, we ordered two Gorditas (1- tripas and 1-shredded beef). We washed it down with Mexican Coke Cola (made with real sugar NOT corn syrup). Our food was served hot and fresh. As always, we encourage you to stop by Taqueria Jalisco to give it a try for yourself.

I was craving soup and the reviews were pointing me to this restaurant. I am glad that I came here…read more The soup and the sopapilla were amazing. The beef soup/stew had big chunks of meat, lots of veggies and came with a kick! I never had sopapilla before and it did not disappoint. If you want to try something new and different from tacos or burritos . Get you some sopapillas. The service was great and the place has plenty of seating even when there is an aviation event in town. The restaurant was clean and with a very traditional feel and spacious. They can accommodate large parties for sure.

My husband and I loved coming here when we are in Roswell visiting…read more This trip was not good. The lady taking our order was rude and seemed super offended when my husband asked for extra chili sauce. We are very aware there is chili in the burritos already and we really like their sauce. Well, she showed us.THEY DIDNT PUT ANY CHILI SAUCE IN OUR BURRITOS. That is some petty BS I know it probably won't make any difference to you but we will not be going back ever again. I hope that whatever is going on in your life gets better and that you're not truly this petty. Heal yourself and do better.

Heads Up for Menudo Lovers from California!…read more If you're used to being offered corn or flour tortillas with your Menudo, be sure to ask for them--otherwise, they'll serve it with plain bread and butter. Also, they don't automatically bring out cilantro, so if you like it with your soup, request it when ordering. Solid Spot for Mexican Food in Roswell Stopped in at Burritos and More while visiting Roswell and had a pretty good experience. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was solid. We ordered: Churros with caramel dipping sauce - Crispy, warm, and the caramel was delicious. Huevos Rancheros - Nicely done, good flavor, and came with beans and potatoes. Menudo - The broth was decent, and the meat was tender. Just be aware of the tortilla situation mentioned above if you're used to a California-style Menudo experience. Overall, it was a good meal, and I'd stop by again if I were in the area. If you're looking for Mexican food in Roswell, this place is worth checking out.

The interior is surprisingly large with a spacious dining room to the right, more seating near the bar, and even an outdoor space that had live music when we went. Spicy Beef Nachos Appetizer: Chips topped with queso, green onions, jalapeños, black olives, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. My friend got this and I had a couple bites. Chips were not soggy and it was large enough to cover as his dinner. Green Chile Burger: Topped with monterey jack cheese and roasted chopped Chaves County-grown hot green chile. Served on a jalapeño bun with a side of our hot green chile sauce. Their signature burger and it tasted good. I don't need too much food but the amount of fries I got was too little even for me. Got two Johnny Walker Blacks with a splash of coke and they came well mixed and quickly. We did end up getting rained in and hilariously went back for a second dinner to wait out the rain. Black corn taquitos were OK, I would not get the fried shrimp basked again, the shrimp was too small and there was too much breading.

The hostess (whose name I forget) went out of her way to take special care of our huge group of 10 people who dropped in on her on a busy night. Our server Heather was a total rock star! She had never heard of Pink Floyd (heresy!) but treated us like royalty. All in all I would have to believe that Peppers treats every single customer like this - and highly recommend a stop.
