Best ice cream I've ever had! Great taste & super creamy! I enjoyed every bite. Can't wait to get more of it. Must try!

I love this place! The ice cream is the best quality ever and all the other goodies are delicious!! Desserts are my thing and this is definitely the place to go.

    Chapiña/Chamango. Delicious!

I love raspados and nieves (homemade style ice cream) and El Paraiso is my favorite spot for both! They have great prices and are very generous with their servings, plus they have great service. I love this place! Favorite nieve flavors: Mango Fresa de agua (strawberry) Mamey (best mamey ice cream I've ever had!) Nuez (pecan) Prices start at $1.50 for a two scoop cup and you can choose different flavors for each scoop. Favorite raspado flavors: Nuez Coco Piña Chamango or Champiña (Mango or pineapple flavored raspado with slices of fruit topped with chamoy) I usually ask for a chamango/ champiña combo. Totally worth the $3.75!

It's a good place abit over priced only thing is the wait is long be prepared to wait

Their raspados r great and their ice cream is good abit over priced. Other thing is it gets full fast so be prepared to wait a long time if it's full only one girl is working here

I've been coming here since I was little. They have really good palette! Today I got regular ice cream, they serve thrifty ice cream. One scoop is $1.50, double $2.00, triple $3.00, and if you want a waffle cone, they charge an extra $1.25. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because they always take forever to serve.

    Too bomb

Chamangos are to die for! I love them and they are so huge i can never finish them. They have a lot of goodies to offer but i always go for thier plaletas. The best and have awsome prices. They have outside and indoor seating they can get busy but for the most part managable. Love coming here stupid close to me.

Went here for the first time the past weekend and I was delighted with my chamango! I live in long beach and just drove there and back just to try it. I was not disappointed but it's better if you live near by probably lol. If you feel like having a raspado this can be your place!

    Delicious chamango

This last time I opted for the split scoop waffle cone. For the top I chose the Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge and the bottom, the Bananas Foster with Candied Pecans. It was delicious! Such intense flavors! The favorite of the two was definitely the Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge. If you're a peanut butter lover, this is the one for you! They also have some pretty awesome merch to purchase as well and the Tacolate collaboration with Taco Bell is a must the next time I go. They also had Tacolate sauce pack keychains to purchase too! Service was also great as the person was extremely patient as the family was sampling their wide array of options. The kids were loving every moment too! Will be heading back soon for another treat! Tacolate if it's still available!

The place is super small and no line, but the flavors were plentiful. I forget what they do, but you can get a combo of flavors in a single scoop. Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.

The line was longer than I've ever seen it wrapping around outside. I saw so many young people in cosplay, possibly characters for an anime I'm not familiar with. Look at the photos and see if you recognize it. A character might be called Silverwolf? Anyway, I was so happy to see Somisomi so busy. My friend and I stayed in line for 20 minutes before we were able to place our order, we had only 10 minutes to spare before our tickets at the Aratani Theatre. We wanted to have the milk and 8-bit boysenberry swirl soft serve in a cup. Unfortunately, we realized that we had to decide between possibly not being led into our reserved seat at the theater or missing out on this delicious dessert. It was just a matter of not realizing how long it would take. I don't blame Somisomi because they had a huge number of ahbong to make fresh, and of course, there was no way to cut in line We ended up telling the lovely staff that we had to leave, and to please give our orders under "Coco" to someone for free so it wouldn't be wasted. I'm sure it would've been tart and delicious!! The staff were working hard and very patient. They sometimes had to call names three times to get a response for adding toppings. If you go there and it's crowded, please be patient and also please be ready to go up to claim your order right away for the sake of the waiting hungry crowd ;)!
