When she saw the case full of flavors, she lit up. McConnell's has a great selection, and she loved that you can get your ice cream in a cone, a cup, or her personal favorite; a cup with a cone on top. She chose a small cup of Sprinkle Cake with a sugar cone, and she was over the moon. The team working there was incredibly kind and patient with her, which made the experience even better. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.
