I was at LACMA this past weekend and there's always at least 4-5 food trucks there.  I didn't see…read moreanything that I was craving until I saw an ice cream truck!  Who doesn't get excited when they see an ice cream truck?!  It was pretty windy and cold but that never stops my craving for some nice delicious ice creammmm.   I made my way over to their truck and they had a pretty decent amount of flavors.  They also had HOT CHOCOLATE!  It's pretty rare to see an ice cream truck that serves actual scoops of ice cream let alone hot chocolate so this was a good start.  I sampled their ube and cookie monster and they were both bomb.  They also have an item called kongs cookie.  It's basically a pizookie dessert but their own little twist on it.  I had to get one of those because I love pizookies.  I got mine with the cookie monster and I love how the cookie is warm!  WARM!!  My boyfriend got vanilla bean since that's his go to and of course we got a hot chocolate for the cool weather. I hope they're here often even in this cold weather because I crave ice cream even more when it's cold.  I can't be the only one?!

Such intense flavors! The favorite of the two was definitely the Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge. If you're a peanut butter lover, this is the one for you! They also have some pretty awesome merch to purchase as well and the Tacolate collaboration with Taco Bell is a must the next time I go. They also had Tacolate sauce pack keychains to purchase too! I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.
