We have been here a few times. The food is okay for its prices. We enjoy the variety of options. I called in an order for pick up and was told it should be ready in 30 minutes. Upon arriving, there were approximately 7 tables of people in the restaurant, most of whom didn't have their food. The tables were of parties of 4 to 12 people. I was told that it would be another 10 more minutes until my food was ready. Several other tables were getting their food one person at a time as it became ready. This made other members of the parties frustrated. Customers who had ordered in the restaurant became upset because they had been waiting for 35 minutes and didn't have any food. When confronted about it, the employee became exasperated but apologetic. Another customer was upset about the quality of the food, but was offered a new pizza. The entire restaurant only had two employees working except for one employee who was out making deliveries. The phone was ringing off the hook and on occasion when it was picked up the employee stated the restaurant was too busy to take orders. Our food was okay but a little sloppy and under cooked. I'm unsure if it was worth the wait. I unquestionably recognize that the two employees there were doing the best they could with being short staffed. Hopefully in the future they will handle the situation better. We will give Palio's another chance but this incident left a sour taste in our mouths. read more

Boyfriend and I love this place. It's our go-to. One large pepperoni and one large cheese or Quattro formaggio. Always tasty. My stomach is iffy about bread and I can handle the dough on this pizza so well. Only reason for 4 instead of five stars is the price. It's kinda pricey for what you get... the staff is always younger folks like teens and they are always friendly and quick to take care of me. I only mention this because a lot of places I have encountered with younger employees, the customer service is always questionable. But not here. Keep up the great work. read more

Ordered 2 XL pizza's and 2 salads. Salads were perfect, but both pizza's looked as if someone was using the pizza boxes as frisbees. A tangled mess. They did offer to remove the charges from my credit card and I pressed them to re-deliver the pizza's. I forwarded pics of the pizza's per their request. New pizza's were delivered with no issues and damaged pizza's were requested by the driver. Kinda weird, but whatever. My issue is that I never received a credit. The first time I ordered the food was AMAZING. I ordered online and everything was perfect. Every time since then has been pathetic. Second time I sent it back because I asked for extra sauce on the pizza and got less than none. They replaced it with one with the extra sauce. They also sent the wrong wings. This time again I asked for extra sauce on the pizza and it's like they specifically gave me no sauce. Since it's a week night I don't have time to get another pizza sent out. I'm done. Italian with a side of attitude! Food is good and we have been here before quite a few times. Unfortunately, the service does not match the food. We ordered all together, but the pizzas were delivered 25 minutes before the lasagna and the parmesan chicken pasta. Upon inquiring no apology was made- eyes were rolled and the waitress informed us with serious attitude that the chicken pasta has to go in three times and so does the lasagna because it is frozen. The gentleman behind counter said pasta takes 3x as long as anything else. We've had a few minutes delay before - but not 25 min. Suggest the Howe location - much better service! read more

Maybe we need to try the pizza next time. The pastas were meh. The Alfredo tasted like it was made of milk and cornstarch. The meat sauce was lacking flavor as well. The Greek salad was delicious. We will go back and try the pizza but if it's not good, we probably won't go back. read more

Palio's has made a HUGE mistake in firing one of their employees on New Year's Eve!!!! It is absolutely disgusting how he was treated and fired being that he made ONE mistake!!!! We frequently ordered from there and enjoyed this employees delivery and presence, he was always timely, always customer friendly and went out of his way to thank us personally for his tip. It is absolutely disgusting that Palio's fired him off one bad mistake!!!! You've lost a great employee and oh BTW KID (he's 17) it's your loss and we will never order from you again and from what we understand you're paying the price as he was your only delivery driver and people are pissed that their delivery time is take so long. Terrible service....staff is not very knowledgeable of menu....I ordered two orders of Hot wing one original and one suppose to be crispy dry wings. Love the atmosphere: warm, cozy & the fanciest thing Melissa has to offer ;) Finally, another sit-down restaurant in our small town. We enjoy the diff crust options (whole wheat, gluten free). Great vegetarian options! Go gourmet, not basic here. Also, take advantage of the 2nd pizza for half price option on the right panel of the menu. Very quaint and cozy place to dine in while enjoying your favorite wine and Italian dish. This pizza cafe is a BYOB establishment. I have visited a couple of times and have yet to be dissapointed. We love Palios for the most part. Started eating in the one in Denton. They make gluten free crust in house and has XLarge for the price of XLarge. Great deal. We heard Palios closed in Eldorado's shopping center and coming here. We were happy but not too excited. We had the pizza buy the same owner in Fairview and didn't like it. Tonight we were out in the fog and cold and didn't want to venture far. We stopped in and first impressions were good. It's nice and cozy. Love the paint job, furniture, table layout, fireplace, lighted tree hiding the soda fountain. Great lighting and I want some chandelier S of my own :). Our cashier was sweet and asked about the BarBwue pizza being GF... which it isn't. Our waitress was just as sweet bringing out our pizzas. The pizzas were hot and flavorful. So much better than the Fairview location (can't believe it would be the same owner). Our Classic and Molly's GF had lots of cubed chicken, feta was plentiful as well as the spinach. Never left a bad review before but it's ridiculous and deserves it. We tried 3 different times all bad experiences. First time we dined in. We were only people there and somehow our pizza never got fired so we sat for 30 minutes then checked on order they then fired it and it came out completely wrong, so we waited more for the pizza we ordered. Second time we tried again and the pizza we ordered came out as it appears on the menu instead of how we ordered it without a topping. Third time, last chance, we ordered delivery, 45 minutes later food comes and the pizza is wrong. They not only take the messed up pizza with them (what are they going to do with it besides trash it) but don't offer a refund or anything. So we are left waiting another 30-45 minutes for a new pizza. when they come back with correct pizza finally, we had waited almost 2 hours for our dinner. I flagged a waitress down and she said she'd find out what the problem was. Turns out they'd lost our order. We left after were given a refund and told that next time they'd pay for our meal. We've lived in Melissa just over a year now. As there aren't many choices to eat out her... when we saw a new pizza place opening we were very excited and couldn't wait to try. We dined in the day after the grand opening and anticipating something out of the ordinary. Unfortunately we were disappointed. We ordered a large double pepperoni and a Caesar salad. The salad was okay. When they brought out the pizza we had to clear the table. They didn't bring out stand or pedestal to set the pizza on. The pizza did not look very good from an eye appeal standpoint. But that doesn't matter if it tastes good. The taste was like biting into cardboard. The crust was like or worse than store bought frozen pizza. In fact, we've had better pizza from a grocery store. Nothing special or good about the sauce, the cheese, or the pepperoni. I hate writing and posting a negative review but we were so disappointed. We talked to some neighbors who tried and they too felt similarly to the quality of the pizza. You know it's pretty hard to do pizza badly. You would think that anyone opening a more upscale pizza joint would at least make the effort to really make an amazing pizza. read more

Ordered food from here and we were told that it would come in about 10 minutes and we waited outside for quite sometime and they delivered the food without any utensils and it doesn't look fresh.
