While I am not sure of the going rate for fish, the prices seemed extremely reasonable. The owner's knowledge is extensive and his care and concern for our little Betta fish was almost unbelievable. He gave me thorough instructions and asked me how much I wanted to spend. Then he started grabbing plants out of his elaborate tanks and threw in some tiny fish for FREE. I wish he owned every single store that I shop in!

We had no way of contacting our children, who were in transit in Europe. We used the internet to find a listing of companies who could help us. We called AquaticStart LLC, and we are so glad we did. Within 5 minutes, Joe Montalvo, the owner, was on his way and arrived at the house 30 minutes later. He quickly drained most of the water from the tank, helped us get a 46 gallon fish tank as a stop gap measure, then moved the fish. Somehow he manged to save all the fish.
