I finally did start to slowly receive the documents I needed for approval, but they were not completed properly and missing information (the plumbing permit that was never pulled and a scope of work to list just two). When I spoke with Adam this morning to find out what is going on with the HOA package, I was given an I sent it, what do you want from me type of response. At that, I told him I can't work like this (who could?!). Adam immediately hung up on me. I can't speak to their work product so the moral of my experience is IF you have time to chase them and correct all their mistakes - while also unwisely choosing to not pull permits (Tom and Adam made it obvious they prefer not to use permits) AND if you're ok with your job going from four weeks to four months, PBR is the company for you. Also, everyone I met with told me they were the head of the company so def issues going on within which could explain a lot - too many chef's not enough cooks...

We had our kitchen redone by Creative Kitchens a few years ago, after experiencing a mold issue. I…read morethought it was important to chronicle all of the issues we have experienced since their installation: Soon after the installation, the under cabinet lights stopped working. Calls to Creative Kitchens went unanswered. Finally had to pay a handyman quite a bit of money to fix the lights. The kitchen sink started leaking underneath. The person who repaired it said that the sink was installed improperly. The leak was especially upsetting to us, after we had experienced the mold issue due to a leak prior to the kitchen being remodeled. One of the drawers does not always close or reopen properly. Again, Calls to Creative Kitchens went unanswered. Several of the cabinets are not aligned properly. Again, Calls to Creative Kitchens went unanswered. Most recently, we experienced a leaky hose in our dishwasher. The repairman was unable to move the dishwasher in order to access the hose. It was later determined that this was due to Creative Kitchens installing the dishwasher on top of wet cement. It had to be detached with a drill. I would stay clear of Creative Kitchens based upon the above. Not only is their work substandard, but they do no stand behind it.

Be aware that this company only sells the hardware, the install and painting they farm out to 3rd parties, I had issues with the paint after a few month, painter ghosted me even though he gave me a 5 Years warranty. One of my door handles started to come loose. It took 2 months to schedule an appointment for technician to come out with a dose calls and many missed appointments. When he finally showed up the technician came with a small Allen wrench and told us the screw is stripped and he would have to cut off the handle to replace with new. It would cost $1000 nor under warranty because the screw is stripped. I called the store at least a dozen times, no call back was ever received and they also ghosted me. This place has no interest in doing anything but sell the doors and hardware, they don't care about their customers at all. STAY AWAY!

We added screens and handles to the outside sliders and we're told screens come with the windows. We were told 8 weeks for delivery but that went way over with out any follow up from anyone there. I had to call 5 to 6 times just to hear I will call you back and they never did. When the team came out for the installation. Not a single piece of furniture was covered up. Dust covered my home from top to bottom. I just wanted them out when they were done so I could spend the next few days cleaning up after them. There were two broken screens, the doors are installed backwards and 5here are no handles on the outside sliders. I have been calling and calling and Evin will not return my call and they are telling me I have to pay $600 more for the correct screens that they miss ordered.

Summary - I contracted with Lake Worth Custom Cabinetry (LWCC) to do kitchen and bathroom cabinetry…read morefor a renovation of a small cottage in Lake Worth Beach. Everything started out wonderfully, but then the relationship went steeply downhill. LWCC signed a detailed contract, but later demanded additional payment for items included in that contract. They demanded early payment, and then walked off the job without completion. Additionally, there were issues with the quality of their work. The contract I signed with LWCC in February 2021 specified four payments: 50% before work began, 25% when cabinet boxes were completed, and the remaining 25% when all work was completed. In July 2021, they walked off the job without completing the work and demanded the bulk of the final payment before finishing. As I needed the work done in order to receive a certificate of occupancy, I complied. In February of 2022, I reached out requesting they complete the work. They declined and said they had lost a significant amount of money on the job. As they determined the contract price, required I pay more for items already included in the contract, and did not complete the work, I do not see how this could be true. Work never completed, though specified in eight pages of drawings which were included in the contract: 1. A pull out under the kitchen sink for the trash cans - This work was never done. LWCC said trash cans would not fit due to plumbing. But I may have the plumbing changed. So that is irrelevant to the fact that the work was not completed, despite repeated requests. 2. Installation of a "Magic Corner" cabinet accessory - The Magic Corner was included in the contract, but LWCC said I would have to pay for it. I did. However, they did not install it correctly and did not put a door on that cabinet. I am therefore left with a nonfunctional accessory and a gaping hole in my cabinetry. 3. A 33-inch kitchen sink - even though the drawings specified a 33-inch sink, I had to pay a change fee to have it installed. Quality issues include, I have pictures for anyone who is interested: 1. One cabinet had eight highly visible screws within 2 square inches. 2. One cabinet had four highly visible screws holes within 1 square inches. 3. Scuff marks and scratches on one cabinet door. 4. Shelving in pantry was not professionally installed. LWCC built an insert that sits in the cabinet. While it works, it is an obvious after the fact addition.
