We were expecting to just come and stay and drive back and forth to help them move into their new place. Wow this campground city park is awesome! So far we love everything about it! Love the lake they have next to the park! The campground is super clean and well organized! Bathroom, showers and laundry rooms were clean and no issues. Campground is very quiet. All the staff have been super friendly even when making the reservations and checkin at security gate upon arrival. Added note: they have a security gate that requires a code to enter. Guest can come and visit us for the day at no additional charge. We are so glad we made reservations here for the week and we will definitely be back when come back and visit our daughter. Next time we will bring our Ebikes and do some exploring around this HUGE park.

They have gorgeous lakeside spots that they limit to 2 weeks only so that helps the Floridians have a spot when the northerners travel and its hard for us to find spots. They are very strict with campers and info. You have to take a photo of the little thing on side of RV that shows its been approved by someone , they charge extra per day for a 2nd car as well. They have awesome trails to walk in, they have a boat ramp that is limited to a 20" boat. The staff is super friendly. My only complaint is how close you have to get to the keypad to punch in the code. I wish they would have that stick out more so you dont have to get so close to the cement to enter code

This place was actually a really nice place to live in until 4 years ago.It was once owned by a…read morevery nice family as a campground and rv park from 1940s and everybody was nice and fun to hang around. There was a pool and clubhouse many people would come and bbq and pretty much invite the whole park because everybody was friends and had many good times. However sadly the owners daughter decided to sell the park for family reasons and move on and sold it to a really shady company called Lakeshore and the good times came to an abrupt end..They abandoned the clubhouse and swimming pool for 3 yes allowing it to deteriorate until last year when it was finally demolished. They still have the nerve and balls to falsely advertise these amenities on several different websites promoting this park and all that remains in its place is a crqppy unleveled ground with poorly parked rv lots and partially finished electrical boxes in the very front of the park. The roads have many pot holes and desperately need re paving and the laundry room has run down washers and dryers that constantly break down and they also asked a very shotyy bathroom hooked up to washer piping that is only for the so called maintenance guy to use that is barely even there at all and locked up so the actual residents aren't allowed to use it.Since these people took this place over most of the long time people that lived here for many years either packed up and left asap or sold their trailers/campers to illegals overnight and the management is too stupid to even notice who lives in them lmfao. The rent has been raised 4 times in 4 years yet no improvement have been made or any replacement amenities like a new clubhouse and pool have been attempted.Like I said this park WAS paradise but once you actually drive into this place you will immediately notice there is no pool to swim in or clubhouse to relax at and meet new neighbor and families just an open field with a fence around it and nothing else.......

Since the park went under new management (Cynthia) the vibe has changed. She's very approachable, genuinely sincere, and helpful. All great qualities to have when managing a property with times like these. The maintenance man (sorry not sure of his name) does a great job keeping up with the day to day maintenance. i can see they are really cleaning up the park and making it more of an rv city for those who live in there trailer long term. A few suggestion: FREE INTERNET throughout the park. A vending machines would be nice or a little convenient store that sells the basic essentials. (T.P, P.T, snacks! Laundry detergen, ext. maybe turn the kitchen area to a little cafe. (Espresso machine, donut and muffins.). I would never leave the park!

Tina, Chuck, Nick, and Brandy are a wonderful team working their best everyday to meets the needs and "demands" of certain guests. All I know is I'm glad I didn't rely on the few negative reviews about this establishment to decide if this was the place for me. I came in the evening to investigate how serene and quiet this establishment was before committing to moving here. Quiet and peaceful. What I can say is that it is a very kind, respectful, professional establishment with hard working people doing their absolute best all time time. They are always working to maintain the property. They are always receptive and communicative. Friendly, organized, family like environment. It has a little bit of everything which I love. You have a few kids that play around late afternoon which I love 'it makes me feel like being around children is what makes us allowed to feel that energy and be able to relax as they are. Everybody from the staff to the patrons of this establishment are always smiling, kind, engaging, however also mind their own business and are respectful related to not being loud when dealing with neighbors. I am grateful for that because I have been in parks that have not been so courteous nor diligent about grounds keeping. I always bring forth kindness, understanding, respect, and gratitude. without fail that is always what I get back in return. You get what you give. People are doing the best they can in every given moment dealing with all of the personalities that come by us particularly through the transactional requirements to continue through the day. I personally give this establishment 10 stars. And let me tell you this is coming from (me) someone who is very picky about the grounds of an establishment, noise, and people. This place is full of people that are pleasant and mindful . I've Been in very poorly run RV parks, this is NOT! one of them. As far as the spaces go and being tight. I think that can be addressed by any institution working in business. If you want a prime type space that allows for a room on both sides then naturally you have to pay for a prime space. Just like you would have to at any hotel or other establishment in this life. I don't think it's fair to blame the people running the place, who have just as much obligation to meet the inflation requirements as we all are facing rises in prices. Ultimately I think some people are never pleased , and forget to treat the people that work here like humans and not just people there to provide a transactional encounter for your comfort. Once again, kudos to all the members of this establishment. It's the one place in South Florida that I found encompasses all of the necessary fun to provide a happy RV camping lifestyle. I will be here for a very long time thanks to the help, guidance, pleasant behavior, and constant communication which is huge these days when trying to deal with an RV park. My calls are always answered and if they're not my calls are returned within five minutes. Some thing I've never seen. I could go on and on but I think my point is made. Don't believe everything you read when it comes to negativity, often it has more to do with the person writing the message than who they're writing it about. Don't hesitate to come here, it's a small family style experience with a lot of nice people. And the best thing of all is the dog run on the perimeter of this establishment has yet to be found with any dog feces. Which is another huge thing when dealing with parks that allow animals. So often people don't pick up their dog feces! Extremely and profoundly grateful for this magical slice of heaven in a chaotic world. With magnificent gratitude

There is no shade on the grounds so much of the time was spent standing in the hot sun. Waiting to get into an airboat was a bit chaotic and tiresome. There were shade canopies along the queue but they were not deployed for some reason. Staff seemed a bit disorganized, groups were confused on where to go and given mixed directions from staff members. The experience on the boat was nice and we saw a variety of wildlife. The captain was knowledgeable and spotted alligators quickly. The gator show was fun but short. The host Paul was funny and engaging, the entire audience was captivated. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our highlight was getting to hold a baby alligator and knowing that our money was going to one of the only no kill gator rescues!
