But once you step outside your room door, it's like you've entered a completely different (and much worse) property. Service here is borderline nonexistent, especially in the kids pool area. We stayed during a busy period and the kids pool zone was an absolute disaster. Zero staff presence, no lifeguard or attendants in sight, and it was so overcrowded that it felt unsafe. Parents were on edge, kids were bumping into each other constantly, and there was no organization whatsoever. It was pure chaos. The resort was beyond packed. Elevators regularly had long lines of people waiting just to go up or down. Bar was unserviceable. People on top of eachother food going to wrong tables. Disaster. I've stayed at busy hotels before, but this was next-level. The concierge was an absolute joke. When we asked for recommendations or help booking activities, the responses were generic, unhelpful, and felt scripted. Honestly, you're better off just using ChatGPT Other than the room itself, Hard pass.

The restaurant was excellent. Not just good--reliably so, which can be its own kind of comfort. Every meal arrived as if it had been waiting for us longer than it should have, warm and inevitable, and we found ourselves thinking about the next one before we were finished with the current plate. The room stayed spotless. Housekeeping came and went like a soft reset of reality each day, leaving everything in its place, nothing out of order. The bed and pillows were unusually comfortable--deep, absorbing--and once you lay down, the world outside seemed to recede in a way that felt almost intentional. The soundproofing helped with that too. Whatever went on beyond the walls never quite made it in. In the end, it was an easy stay to slip into. Almost too easy. And when it was time to leave, it felt natural to think we might come back again... as if the place expected that much from us.

Soon my wonderful wife came down with our daughter and her friends visited for their Spring break, Mar., 2025. Then the three of us visited in Jan., 2026. We visited for six nights on this trip; after a longer-than-planned travel day (the airline routed us to the wintry north of Detroit in order to fly south... a nice compare-and-contrast we appreciated after-the-fact), we were pleased to meet Shawna in person; Shawna had been talking with my wife pre-arrival, and provided a de-stressing welcome. For this trip, we rarely left the property, in most part because I worked most of the days, in the room (see below). We did enjoy making food for ourselves in the room; there are two Publix, one just across the bridge and another just north, heading to Jupiter, maybe and extra 3 minutes further away. We enjoyed food at Reflections, including: - Sunday night special... ribs !! and a Miami Vice drink, while watching some of the football with the many other guests - burgers for lunch, including the especially good Rodeo Burger - with cheese and bacon!! - good drinks, with and without alcohol (alcohol-free pina coladas are good for any/all ages!) - gluten free pizza and wings The Activity Center offered 21 / blackjack, which was fun. We enjoyed a bit of soccer on the turf field between buildings. The hot tubs are nice, night and day Fun on the beach, getting sun, building sand castles, and walking along and enjoying the surf. The eastern-most point in Florida is about a quarter-mile to the left / north... you can see it from Oceana Palms once you know where to look... it is the one rocky outcropping that is present; just use a map on your app to confirm you are there... pretty neat! We look forward to returning soon. - - - Working in the room Part of the plan was for me to work most of the days, which was fine - the desk next to the bed is just right... has the power and the room has the wifi, and the desk, at least in our room, faces west and offers a great view, good for a brief mental break, and good for getting the eyes to focus further away than just the screen. - - - Location Barely 15 minutes north of West Palm Beach International airport (PBI) Barely 10 minutes from the St. Louis Cardinals' spring training facility at Roger Dean (car dealer) Stadium Barely 15 minutes from Bissinger's Palm Beach Boutique ----- ----- -----

You quickly learn to get your cyberspace BS under control, unplug, and pay atention to every little detail, and most importantly, the people around you. When you are here, it is so important to just breathe and ground yourself! We have come here over 10 times over the past 9 years, and we always have a top-tier experience. Here is why this resort remains unmatched for us: The valet is incredibly efficient despite the large crowds. The front desk is always kind and accomodating. Truly, every single employee is impeccably trained. Walking through the property feels like being in the Titanic movie, absolutely grand and timeless. The restaurants and bars are excellent across the board. Our absolute favorite part of vacationing here is heading down to the beach, grabbing a couple of beach chairs and umbrellas, and spending the whole day there. We love getting food from the nearby pool restaurant and staying put for hours. One main difference between The Breakers and any other hotel is that they never force you out of your spot just because it is 6 PM. If the staff has to leave, they let you stay on the beach for as long as you want. While the beach itself is not the absolute best in Florida, the natural rock formation gives it a beautiful, unique touch that is incredibly refreshing for the view. They also offer water sports for the young and enthusiastic! The Flagler restaurant is fabulous, but I will leave that for a separate review later since it is currently undergoing a major renovation a may be a whole different universe once it reopens! The resort has Valet parking which I typically love but a little sloppy here. Back to the balcony. We were on a night floor which was advertised as the penthouse. Except there were two floors above us. Worst part was that the HVAC machines were on our side of the building which created constant noise. Big letdown. So in my business I can't help but look at things that are being neglected. Typically that's not a good sign. The pathway to the beach was not what the advertisement showed and much of the brick work was damaged and appeared neglected. They do have a restaurant on the property. Beginning our adventure we ride up the hill to enter the Spa which provides Valet with the service * we were greeted by our Valet driver Joshua, young man who was first smiling face welcoming us and congratulating my mom on her day- and our first time coming to the resort. He took our beautiful pictures when we arrived- than you! As we wrapped our way into reception we were greeted by Jasmine and she offered us tea or lemon water as we checked I , as we crossed our T's we were then greeted by a wellness member who toured us through the property to show us what the spa offered in our day to our choosing. Flora was the locker room attendee and the enthusiastically offered to take us to see the beach side entrance which we were so excited to hear. I want to greatly appreciate the duo working tirelessly and kindly on the beach; first thing in the morning they were moving the Lounge chairs, staking the beach umbrellas, bringing out towels all with a lovely warm smile and "is their anything else I can get you " attitude. It's not everyday you are greeted with sincerity and it was hugely felt. So to Loverage and Osama THANK you for going above and beyond and making sure to always look over and offer your time and support for my mom, who struggles with longer walks - but she was so happy to make it! Big appreciation for you both. Also, Jackson you made beach walking and hosting look easy. Your friendly attitude, big smile, and upbeat conversation carried our hungry thoughts to calm and easy breezy mindsets. I haven't seen someone not only balance a drink table but also food bags while walking on sandy shores with such grace in a while; you were awesome thank you for the Shrimp kabob rec they were scrumptious and tasty! Also I tried the mojito and it was cool , refreshing and had the right bit of kick for a sunny time fun experience. As a note , we only used the spa facilities and each space was unique and fabulous. Not only were the attendees in the room warm and welcoming but anyone you met while walking on the property always smiled and asked if we needed or were looking for something- yes Jeffrey thank you for helping us find the closest entrance back! As a Palm Beach local, there are places I still am Surprised when I stumble on or am gifted a chance to try. This is now a place when we have visitors looking for a "Miami" vibe treatment I will say- I have the place for you it's clean, luxurious, accommodating, Sweet and BETTER than anything South Florida will have to offer. Thank you to everyone brining joy for our Mothers on this day, I imagine you are like this everyday and that is where my heart will Keep you. Also we loved our Roses for the day too!

I was having trouble online, my password needed to be reset and I wasn't getting the reset email in my inbox. So I decided to call to potentially fix my password issue. I spoke to a young lady who made me aware she could not help me with my password and she would transfer me to someone who could help me with a reservation. I was transferred over and over again. The first time I was transferred to the front desk of the hotel, then to another department and back to the front desk of the hotel; never to the spa. I then called back and asked to speak to someone that could help me make a reservation and I was told they were extremely busy and someone would call me back. I waited 24 hours and did not receive a call back. Normally, by now, I would've left this business alone, but it was really important to me that my sister got the spa weekend she wanted. So I called again, was transferred over and over when asked to speak to a manager of the spa. I stayed in a loop on the phone for over 15 minutes and spoke to no one who could provide me a manager. Eventually, I spoke to someone who gave me a phone number for a director just for me to call the director and leave a message. I left a message with the director's voice mail around 10 AM and here we are 6:36 PM and I'm yet to receive a call back. I feel like I've had to beg this company to take my money lol! I'm trying to book services. Overall, this has been a really bad experience and has put a bad taste in my mouth.

Honest take: the food and service can sometimes be hit or miss, and there is a lot of staff turnover. For example, The double burger is kind of unnecessary. It is two thick patties just piled on top of each other, and honestly, just make one really good burger and call it a day or give me a double smash burger. If you put the right toppings on it, you do not need two. It sounds good in theory but it just is not. You usually can't go wrong with a fish sandwich or entrée though. But what I really want to highlight now is that they are finally offering happy hour, something they have never done before, and it is a huge benefit to the locals who are here all summer long supporting this venue. The $10 bites are genuinely nice options, including peel and eat shrimp, fish dip, two sliders, beef barbacoa tacos, quesadillas, and tempura green beans. And the $8 margaritas and lychee martinis are something to write home about. Happy hour under the tiki bar has never been better now that there are specials.
