I'll admit it: sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. And sometimes a girl is in need of a spray tan. Now don't think my glow is ALWAYS fake, but yes, a few times over the years it has been. I'm a fair-skinned girl who lived in Miami for 9 years: people expect a lot, okay?! That's where Aruba Sun & Spa comes in. I'm no frequent shopper here but when you need to get the job done, this is a perfect place to do it. For starters, it's $28 ($25 with a student ID) compared to most others in the area that are closer to $40. Deals that allow you unlimited access for a month start in the high $50s (be careful with this option... most people aren't bronzed in the middle of December if you've spent most of your time in an office building in Lutherville-Timonium...). The spray tans are machines - not custom. The staff, while not rocket scientists, are helpful and friendly. They'll give you a tutorial before you get in the machine - and if you forget, the machine guides you through it all as well. It takes less than 10 minutes to get the glow you'd usually need 10 days in the Caribbean to achieve. It dries in seconds and you can go on with your day - just shower 6-8 hours later and it lasts for about 5 days. I gave up tanning beds nearly a decade ago (when they just got too complicated for me to keep up with.. level 1? level 2? level 12?!) but that's also an option here and the prices seem to be lower than other places. read more

So I went to Aruba to find out about spray tanning. I was very hesitant at first because I've seen some girls that spray tan all the time and just look orange. Believe me, that was definitely not the look I was going for. I had a person spray me (I think it was Shannon) and it turned out sooo good! It looked really natural and wasn't orange at all. I don't think I have ever looked that tan in my life and I loved it! The next time I have an event to go to, I will definitely be going back for another spray. read more

Been coming here exclusively over the last 8 years,All prices on lotion and sessions are extremely fair and with all of the programs like frequent fliers, lotions deals and Black Friday specials you can get extremely good deals. I never have to wait more than a moment or two even during peak times since there are so many beds and the staff is always on top of things. Highly recommend. WOW this salon is GORGEOUS! It is SO clean! I have been tanning for years and I always thought the Palm Beach Tan franchise was nicest. Boy was I wrong! This place is not only more beautiful and has nicer employees, but it's also nearly half the price! There is 3 locations and I've been to two of them. They r soooo pretty. The one in Abingdon has a spa! I could not believe they had some lotions starting at $15 ! They carry high end brands like Designer Skin & Devoted Creations. They have by hand airbrush tanning, spray tan booth, and UV tanning plus the Beauty Angel! I love the prices! $5 tan for students! And they are also sweet enough to give military discounts too. Their memberships are amazing. U always get discounts on products not to mention if you "freeze" your account it's only $5 a month then when u unfreeze the money goes back to your account! If you're looking for bang for your buck, this is it. Very affordable yet top-notch quality. If you become a frequent flyer, all upgrades are under $10, including Mystic! This was shocking to me, I've been to salons that upgrades can still be up to $30 if you're a member. They have very affordable lotions too, and a great selection. Needed a spray tan (I am VERY against tanning beds) last minute before a trip and it was painless and quick. It's very clean inside and is pretty big. The lady who did my spray tan was very professional and did a good job. I think it was reasonably priced for the quality and professionalism. Not sure if I'll get another spray tan again anywhere just because it's messy, it will get on your clothes and when I worked out it would drip. Lol, the things we do to look good. read more

I called this afternoon to have a spray tan. I was refereed by a friend who receives spray tans frequently by a young lady named Jessica. Was told other girl/manager would help. She laugh instead. She thought I speak Spanish. I speak Russian! I called in hopes of scheduling appointment, but was hung up on 3 times because of my accent. This no very nice. I wanted to leave Palm Beach and make new home for myself. I am a model who needed a spray tan for an upcoming photo shoot. This no how to run a business. Very hurt and disappointed. Everyone is SUPER nice, everything is clean and they know what they are doing.I am very pale, fair Irish girl with red hair so basically I glow in the dark. I was tanning to get a little base tan before Florida. I never burnt once in the bed because they gave me the perfect bed and time. If I go back to tan, I will only go here. I've been tanning at Aruba since they first opened. I always start in a Level 2 bed to build my base, then follow up occasionally in a Level 5. The salon is clean and the staff have always been very nice and informative. I don't like to spray tan, but many of my friends spray tan here and have always been pleased. I love this place! The majority of girls that work here are super friendly. They have great hours, especially in the beginning of summer when they have their extended hours and change their bulbs. They have a wide selection of tanning beds and lotions. They also have a great Black Friday special where you can buy unlimited tanning for a year for about $200. I didn't realize the deal was only available very early in the morning, and I arrived in the afternoon, instead. They gave it to me anyway. I was super happy.
