I was so excited to come back and get started tanning again after being frozen for medical reasons and was extremely disappointed. This also happened a lot in the past that the management does not staff the salon properly for a speday. Spring just arrived, warm Saturday morning and the day before a holiday the manager only had 1 girl working. She was excellent and calm while people in were in the long line complaining. I know as a manager it is very difficult to anticipate what the crowd will be like but a day as this it should have been a no brainer. I waited 50 minutes and only 3 people in front of me. Total wait was 1 hour and 20 minutes. Again a holiday weekend should have been staffed properly. Love this place but so disappointed today. All the girls who work here are so sweet and friendly. When I first started tanning here I was super nervous about it because I tend to be very claustrophobic, but the manager did such a good job of explaining all the different beds to me and had me start out in the standing bed till I got used to being in the beds. I have been with PBT for 14 years. Ive been to all of the salons depending on where ive lived, but Cajalco has been my home salon for the last 5 years. It seems like they are always understaffed with just one employee running around trying to clean, check people in, and set up customers in the spray booth. The employees are nice and the place is clean but it checking in always takes forever. A spray tan takes like an hour from beginning to end, which seems unreasonable. read more

This salon is always clean, staff is kinds and courteous (especially Taylor - she rocks!) and I am always in and out, rarely is there a wait. Pricing is very fair for unlimited tanning, beds are kept up with and not old. It is close to other shopping in the center so it's a one stop shop. read more

Leave it to corporate to ruin a good thing! I am a regular customer for their Mystic Tan. They aways had great specials. I would drive 30 miles out of my way because of their reasonable prices, good product/results and good customer service. To my disappointment, their prices have been raised an arm & a leg as of 2012. I WAS SHOCKED!!!! Why do companies begin with a good thing & then greed kicks in & they want to "increase revenue"? I can tell you now, this is going to have the opposite effect on their branches. Palm Beach Tan is officially now a dime a dozen. They are no longer set apart from their competition. I couldn't agree more with the above post! The girls are absolute snobs and terrible employees. They must look at customers individually because while they may not push products on some people, they are CONSTANTLY pushing them on me whenever I go in! And when I choose not to purchase the $70 lotion, they roll their eyes and indicate that the conversation is now over and I can leave. I'm not just some critic or fussy customer, I work with customers every day in my own workplace (a restaurant at that) and am amazed at how horribly annoying people can be. In fact, we've gone on Yelp and read some pretty bogus reviews of customers who we individually remember being unreasonable in the actual restaurant. I even made the comment that the word "yelp" is just another way of saying "whine" and that this website is just for whiners. But at this point, I'm just trying to save others the hassle given by this salon. I know what good customer service looks like. And this is ridiculous. Not once have I gone in and given them a hard time, or acted in a way that would show my discontent, yet they continue to badger me and I am done. Talking to a manager wouldn't help because I've seen the manager and she's just as bad. When a customer has a problem in my workplace, no matter how ridiculous, we solve it in a professional manner. I honestly don't think that my issue or any of the issues of other Yelpers are that unreasonable. I froze my account because I was no longer able to afford the $50/month but didn't want to pay the $20 startup fee given the circumstance that I ever wanted to join again. It's been about 5 months and just today they called my home phone claiming that I owe them money. First of all, my $5/month was available for them to take when they needed to. Second, there was no reason to wait 5 months to decide to call me and claim money. And third, they called my house phone (twice today) when my cell phone was listed as the primary number to call. Are they really going to sit there and collect money, then call me on a secondary contact number to claim it months later? And this isn't the first financial issue I've had with them. I am SO DONE with this salon. If I could rate negative stars, I would. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

This is a serious tanning salon! I have never seen a nicer, more modern and legit tanning salon. The bed I use scanned my skin type and was self adjusting to my skin so I never burned and it only took a few sessions to build my base. Prices reflect the quality and variety of the beds so I dont mind that its a little on the higher end. Yes the girls up front try to sell you things. That's their job and I dont mind too much. I tend to buy my lotions online anyway. Overall this place is the best tanning salon around. read more

This is probably my favorite place in town, and it was my first time here. The way I was taken care of by Allie, was truly unreal, because she's really attentive and accommodating. She makes you feel welcome, and at home. Her knowledge goes far above and beyond. She truly understands every aspect of what needs to be done, including but not limited to the clients needs. I was paid attention to from the time I walked in to the time I walked out, and all the while by being taken care of by Allie with great guidance. If you're going to splurge, this is the place to do it. Allie was able to give me some great guidance with the services they offer, and was especially helpful for paring one treatment to another. Everything you've heard is 100% true and then some! Obviously the tanning is the main event, and it's top-notch according to my friends that recommend this GREAT place. This place is pricey with all the hidden fees that they charge. The advertisements are not fully accurate with start up fees etc... But I have had an overal good experience with them. I do enjoy that you can tan at all palm beach locations with ur membership. The main problem is having all staff that are "valley girl" types... There are several times when I've walked in and their on the phone with friends, and when u ask questions they just seem uneducated about tanning and give u false information. But the managers seem pretty educated about the beds. They can be pushy about products.. Especially when they get new stuff. But overall I've enjoyed them. read more

I have been going to this location for about 2 months now, I switch off between this one and the other Corona location off Ontario and Magnolia location. Even though this one is further from my house, it is definitely worth it. Ali is a great leader for her friendly staff. Everytime I walk in the door I am welcomed with a smile or I hear someone from the back who is cleaning beds saying that they will be right with me. This location is much bigger then the other one I go too - I have never had to wait, I just walk in, tan, chat a little with the staff and then leave! It is also very clean and the clothes they have look adorable - I have to pretend like they arent there so I don't go broke! See you guys soon!! read more
