Do not recommend!! I was in town for a wedding and went in to get a spray tan along with my sister at the Fresno location on Friant rd. Immediately after my tan I told an employee named Saylor that I don't feel like the spray got on my arms or upper body at all. I didn't feel much spray during the session. I also paid for all the add ons for fast results and extra scent for $75. Saylor told me to come in the next day if I wasn't happy with results. So I did. It is very clear the spray did not really work or cover my arms & upper body once it developed. I came in and another employee named Hannah was very rude and not willing to help me or offer any solutions. I have pictures to show my results. My hands have a bit of tan but from my forearm on up there is no spray tan at all. It is very very disappointing. My sister who went right after me in the booth and selected the same medium spray tan + same add ons had great results, we the same natural skin color. It's obvious maybe the solution wasn't inserted properly or something about my session was incorrect but I'm very disappointed with the results and the service. I went back in to request a refund or a redo session but was not supported in the location although I was told to come back in. I'm super disappointed the service and the results. read more

The owner is rude as he!! when you have a billing dispute. She actually hung up on me today after I sincerely thanked her. She is an incompetent and unprofessional business owner and the staff is poorly trained. Long lines. Bad vibes. They have ripped me off and many friends as well, I'm told. I pay a month membership fee of ~ $70. This is supposed to include as many spray tans I want a month. The last two times I have come, a week apart, they have not had in stock the normal "dark" color that use for my spray tan. They also have not had the "medium" tone either. They only have had in stock the "light" tone. This does not show a difference on my skin as I tried it last week and was unsatisfied with the results. Fast forward to this week, they again only have the light color in stock. The front desk representative recommend that I add a "Bronzer" to the color. I agreed to try it. I didn't think they would charge me for the additional bronzer since they were out of the other darker colors, but they did. I feel like my monthly membership should be paying for them to have what I use in stock and when they do not I should not be charged for an alternative. Just my two cents. Front staff is nice and understanding as I understand this is a inventory problem, although. Let's get it fixed people. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Employees are rude and stuck up, like you're bothering them. Worse at the Clovis location. Spray booths are always dirty and the result is not worth the money. They make you jump through crazy hoops to try and cancel your membership or get a refund. I would never do business with these people again. I have a platinum unlimited spray tan membership and this tanning salon won't let me use it, Ive had several bad experiences with this salon. I pay extra to get dark spray tans and they've run out of the dark spray. I come in 15 minutes before closing and ask to get a spray tan and they tell me it's too bad and they already took down the machine, and I can't use the other machine apparently because it's broken. I don't know why I'm spending $80+ a month when I can't even use my membership. Don't go here!!!! there machines don't work half the time, they take them down early and won't spray you, and they run out of color and they won't do anything to accommodate you. I've been to other palm beach tans and haven't had bad experiences like this this place is really in the trenches. I started tanning here in may. It's a nice place to tan on my lunch break. A little high in prices but they do have good sales so take advantage of them. I did have an issue ( it was a misunderstanding) when I first started coming with one of the girls there. She made a comment on my file and another one of the girls told me about it so I thought how unprofessional.. but I don't think that girl is even there anymore. I haven't been tanning since this business was called Sensational Tans (probably almost a year and a half) and decided I wanted to start tanning again. This was my go-to place. Love the beds, love the staff. Everyone was always super friendly. I was having the same experience until today. I went to start up another membership and was told I had a balance from way far back, before they became PBT. No one could explain to me what it was for but I was told she would take care of it. She then says she can't wipe it clean but she would take some off so it would be less. Ok, that's great. Then I'm told she will waive the $20 start up fee. Even better. We ran into some problems and it took a while to get everything in the system. She told me my total, put it on my card I gave her earlier and I went on my way to tan. Midway I starting thinking that I was charged too much. My membership was $34.95. Why had I paid $58? I asked her afterwards and she was on speakerphone taking a personal call. It seemed like I was bugging her with my questions. She kept stating she took off some of the balance owed. I said I understood but then why did I pay more than the membership? After going round a few times, she finally told me it was the $20 start up fee. I said "so you didn't waive it like you said?". She said she couldn't, it wouldn't let her but she took some off the total. No, she didn't though because I was charged $58. That's not taking ANYTHING off it. I understand businesses have to make money but the customer shouldn't be told one thing and then find out later the associate "couldn't" or didn't want to follow through with it. Especially with no apologies whatsoever. I'm just really disappointed with this place since they're obviously lying to their customers about what they're charging. I wanted to be a long time customer but most likely I'll end up canceling my membership after this one month and going elsewhere. read more

This was my first time using a spray booth and I have to say I am not impressed with the results. Parts of me were deep orange with others areas (Calves had little to no color and feet were deep orange) I called back and the girls were very personable and told me to come back in anytime. I went in the next day and "again" stepped in the booth. Basically I had the splotchy I had the first time except in a different shade. He was never informed on how it would work, ie I did not know how it worked. This should be a point of education for the entire staff and a hand out should be given with the gift card that includes all the benefits as well as the limitations. I want to start off by saying I don't usually write reviews. My wife has been going to this tanning Salon for I want to say a year. It was great at first but we have hit a couple bumps in the road so she wanted to downgrade. Every time she goes in to downgrade someone in there tells her to downgrade the 25th, but it's theres always a different issue no you already paid for next month or system is down. The customer service is great until they hear she wants to downgrade, now I'm paying for something that she is not able to use everyday and they wont let her downgrade. So she goes in today the 21 to downgrade before the 25th the system is down. So she can tan or downgrade. she asked if she should come back tomorrow or wait she got ignored and the representative started talking to a customer that just walked in. So she apologizes for her not being able to tan but not completely ignoring her. Lastly my wife wants to see what she says to this next custOmer, representatives proceeds to tell the customer that they can not tan as well but he never left. he proceeded to walk to the back. Im not one to leave a review but i have had enough with this repetitive cycle of bad experiences every time we go to downgrade. read more

I previously wrote a negative post regarding our initial interactions with Palm Beach Tan when they took over a tanning salon we frequented. Today I removed the post and wanted to share our communications with Palm Beach Tan and specifically the franchise owner since that interaction. I spoke directly with the franchise owner who was concerned and wanted to provide me with further education on the new laws about timing of tanning and that her customers are important to her and then worked out a solution with me. She further reached out again personally to me and provided me with updates to new hours and improvements being made to the salon which will be better for her customers. She didn't have to do ANY of the above but took the time to personally reach out 3 times to respond and make the situation right for us. She was more interested in educating me and keeping us as a customer for long term and that speaks volumes to me about who she is and what kind of positive experience she wants everyone to have at her business. Yes I have changed my opinion of Palm Beach Tan!! If you are considering tanning at a salon please give Palm Beach Tan (First n Nees) salons a try. She deserves a shot at earning your business. I've been tanning for many years now in Fresno. twice since I've come to this place I wanted to post a concern . I've upgraded my package not gonna say why but today she asked me what bed I wanted . I said well let's try that one I have no idea what beds I can go into with my package . Not a word no response. The only thing she asked was last name what bed .. Really?? Ther have been 2 girls that have that wow factor I wish I knew there names .. but that is it .I still don't understand why I have to pay 69 a month just to get dark that's why I upgraded .. I have been trying to get a hold of owner/mgmt since the first day Covid 19 closed tanning booths back in March 2019 ( I had a month of tanning left but was worried about continous charges). So I went into the PBT & asked if I should just turn off my membership and they told me they were unsure. As I was being charged I didn't want to fall thru the cracks & have continously charges...so they put a hold on my membership and said manager would get back to me...I have called a half dozen times, was told about having somewhere around $70.00 in free tanning lotions, but they said I owed 15.00...that was last year...I called again asking about my issue a d the person was rude. I had been going to that tanning booth for 15 years with PBT and when it was sensational tanning. Poor management and very unprofessional. Broke my leg in November 2020. Called the salon to cancel my recurring charge since I couldn't tan with a cast on and they said that I had to come in and cancel personally per the agreement I signed. I could not come in because I couldn't drive. They said I had already been charged for December because it was past the cancellation date. I asked for the manager to call me back and got no response. Finally was able to drive and went in at the end of December. Same thing happened, past the "cancellation date". I asked for the manager to contact me and no response. They did move my membership to a "freeze" or something like that and I was charged $8.95/month even though I wanted to cancel. I apparently signed that agreement on their keypad but was never given a copy. I thought I was cancelling completely. Was charged the $8.95 for Feb, Mar & Apr. Went in again and they said that the charges could not be reversed. I was not happy and told them to have manager call me again or I would be leaving a bad review on social media. I got a call immediately and explained what happened and that I had been leaving messages for the manager. She was unwilling to reverse any charges and said she might be able to cancel April charge but that was it. I obviously had not used their service, which they could verify, and they nearly make it impossible to cancel. Prior to Palm Beach, I did not have any problems with Sensational Tans which used to be in this location. Very poor customer service and they do not care about anything but collecting fees. After their acquisition of Endless Summer tanning I verified my recent purchased of 10 sessions with PALM BEACH TAN over the phone. I had bought 10 session packages since Endless Summer had opened. Covid closures and all I tried to use a few in October. Two inaffective, level 1 sessions (also referred to as Silver) and one "complimentary upgrade" to level 3 and I complain about effectiveness of their level 1. Endless Summer didn't have "levels". JENNIFER of PALM BEACH TAN tells me they actually did me a favor, that my sessions had expired in June but they graciously extended me to December. Between Covid closures and the greed of the new owners I use or lose 7 "level 1" sessions by the end of the year. They are moving to Endless Summer's old location soon, how nice.
