She's an absolute professional--efficient, fast, and thorough about explaining exactly what you need to do to make your tan last. She's also warm and personable, and makes the whole experience very comfortable. I'm so glad I went for the four-month summer membership. My skin has become more sensitive to the sun, so I'm pretty pale these days and had gotten away from wearing summer dresses and shorts. Now, whenever I feel like putting on a dress or shorts, I'm ready! I'm really happy with Bella's work. The color looks completely natural, and that healthy glow just makes me feel good. Five stars. When my wife attempted to use it on June 3, the employees said the card was not working and denied her service. She attempted to use it again approximately two weeks later and was denied a second time. She was promised a callback but never received one. On June 17, she called the store again and was promised another callback. No one called. I went to the store personally that same day and was told that ownership had changed and that gift cards purchased before the ownership change were not working or being accepted. I requested a refund. The employees contacted a manager and told me that corporate would handle it, and someone would call me. No one did. On July 16, after receiving no response for nearly one month, I returned to the store. I was told that the manager would call me within two minutes. That call never came either. The business has my $200. The gift card has never been used, and we have received no service, replacement card, store credit, refund, apology, or meaningful response. An ownership change is an internal business matter. A customer should not be left with a worthless $200 gift card and no person willing to take responsibility. I have now submitted a written demand for a full refund and contacted Chase regarding a dispute. I will update this review if the business resolves the matter.

I came here for the first time a week ago and I absolutely love it! I've been to a bunch of tanning salons and I haven't been able to feel satisfied when I leave. Either too streaky or too orange, or bad customer service. I haven't wanted to go back to tanning for a couple months but I've been so pale I needed to try something new. I heard really good reviews about this place so I thought I would try it out. I was so happy when I left Palm Beach Tan. As soon as I walked in, the girl at the front, how could I forget her name, Rose, was so enthusiastic and reassuring that it made me feel at ease. She thoroughly explained to me what I should be doing and what I had done wrong before and recommended all these awesome products that I am so excited to try. So so happy with the business change here. I have been coming to this location for a long time before it turned into palm beach tan and i really can see new results. I love all the new beds- they really work! clearly they are doing some re-modeling right now so i'm excited to see what other changes they are making- im curious to see if they get any new beds. It is really busy in there a lot of the time but i feel like it's a good sign that so many people want to tan there? Also there are many options for the beds too so the wait isn't bad and even if I have to wait i feel like it's worth it:) the store is also always very clean and the girls are all extremely nice and very knowledgeable about their products and the services. overall very happy with palm beach tan. read more

I have been going to Palm Beach Tan in San Clemente now for about three months. Every time I visit I am greeted Promptly with a Big smile from all associates. The vibe at this location is always friendly and professional. During one of my last visits a very cute young girl by the name of Ashley asked me if i use a lotion.... i told her i do not nor have i ever... Ashley then educated me on why it is important for the quality of the tan and also the health of my skin. I absolutely LOVE this place! The girls are always so friendly and eager to help answer any questions I have about products and any of the beds. It's always so clean and well kept. They offer me an extra towel or robe when ever I do a California Cocktail (Bed and Spray Tan). I couldn't imagine tanning anywhere else. I live a little further north but my experience here is well worth the extra drive time. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great tan and friendly environment. Considering im a male, I've never been much of a tanning salon person however I decided to try this place out & Im hooked. The girls working here have some of the best customer service I've ever received. They all remember my name, always ask me how my days been, bring up old topics and I always feel welcomed! Palm Beach Tan is an incredible tanning salon. The beds are always clean and ready for you as soon as you walk in. The bulbs are always kept up to date by the staff giving you the best tannin experience possible! The staff there is so nice and professional!! Especially Zoe! I went in for information to tan for my wedding and Sydney was working the front desk ... let me just say the customer service was outstanding! The place was very clean and I was given the rundown on all the beds and products offered without feeling pressure to buy products, which makes me not hesitant to come back . I have been very turned off in the past by other salons pushing products which made me not want to return so I'm happy I found a place I can be comfortable returning to! I love PBT!! I've had my membership for almost a year and in that time I've gotten to know a lot of the people who work there. One particular is Austin in the San Clemente location. He always has a smile on his face even when it's crazy busy! He is beyond helpful and guides me when I'm buying products. I came to visit Palm Beach Tan, and I was more than impressed with my visit. First off, the manager Ashley made me feel extremely welcome and showed me how each bed worked, recommended the best bed for my skin type. So I walked into Palm beach tan in San clemente thinking it would be run poorly by snobs like at LA tan but I was pleasantly surprised by the kind employee Tiffany that showed me not all tanning salons are a scam. I was told yesterday by this local franchise that they will not be refunding me and that corporate in Dallas Texas needs to be called. When I called Dallas Texas no one answers and was directed to submit an online request. I did and have not heard back from any person. I have located the local franchise owner and I am sad that my only recourse now is to file a smalls claims case and also file a complaint with the BBB and the State of California for financial fraud. They cannot extract money from my financial institution and then refuse to provide service nor a refund I am guessing this is finial punishment for my review on Yelp. This is very shocking to say the least and supre unprofessional which is right in line with this local franchise. I have been member of EWC for almost 16 years and never before have I experienced anything close to this level of unprofessionalsim and fraudulent and punitive behavior. Its outrageous!
