I joined Palm Beach Tan to get tan for my wedding, because as we know tan fat looks better than white fat. I signed up with Kaitlyn and dealt with the staff numerous times during my sessions. Everyone there was so helpful and pleasant, it made being a guy in a tanning salon comfortable. The place was kept very clean and they have a number of different types of beds, all of which gave me the perfect roasted almond tan that I desired. Let me start off by saying the quality of the services offered deserve 5 stars. Very clean, very good quality beds and spray booths. I've never had to wait much, if at all to tan. And the girls are sweet. There's a reason I've been coming here (on and off) for going on 3 years now. But I am utterly frustrated by the hard sales pitches EVERY-SINGLE-DAMN-TIME!!! *Do not take the deals offered at face value!! The hidden costs add up real quick! As mentioned by others, the spray tan deal. Sigh..... Infuriating to find out you are actually buying the opportunity to stand in the booth. And that's it! No really, you pay to stand there!! Literally! The actual spray / bronzer / solution is NOT included in the fee. You have to pay additionally for that EVERY-SINGLE-DAMN-TIME. The lotions... I get it, we're all trying to make a buck and I'm sure the absolutely magical potions they sell, do something. To me, it smells good and hydrates my skin. The rest, I don't know. But the near guilt trip you get EVERY-SINGLE-DAMN-TIME, for not using their new product, or a better one than they sold you last time, or at the very least pitched you.... I've been close to told the beds don't do a heck of a lot without their rather expensive liquid gold we're supposed to slather ourselves in. But today did me in. After going through the whole lotion spiel (And actually being somewhat pushed into presenting said bottle of lotion, for their approval) I got a rather harsh "You're using... that???" from one of the associates. Turns out the bottle they talked me into (Yes) was only meant to be used when spray tanning. I darned near lost my marbles. I seriously despise being made felt stupid. And this took the cake. I couldn't get out of there quick enough. Oh but wait! I forgot. I was offered another bottle of lotion to apply over said lotion. Apparently that does work. Please, please.... some of us just want to come in, have 5 minutes (approximately) of peace for the day. And leave feeling a little better, a little prettier and a little tanner. Stop it. Just stop the sales pitch EVERY-SINGLE-DAMN-TIME!!!!! Understand, I will be back because the tans are great. I just want to enjoy the experience more. read more

Everyone is really nice here and I typically never have to wait for my bed :) love the variety. You have to wait 24 hours in between each tan which is ok... but you'll get all the info you need about tanning! read more

What a poorly run business. Always opens late, internet/POS system is always slow so cant check in customers. The beds and facility is nice and clean and staff is kind and nice, just operationally these folks cant get it right. I asked for the local District Manager to call me regarding their horrible POS system and no call. read more

I purchased a membership to get some color for an upcoming wedding. I had a terrible experience with the previous tanning salon here so I was excited to see new ownership. As soon as I walk in, I was warmly welcomed by Rose. She explained all the membership details and different types of beds so clearly I felt more than comfortable signing up! I'm on vacation and have a party to go to this weekend. I decided to try a spray tan since I've never had one. I walked in and met Maddy at the front desk. I told her what I wanted/needed and she was extremely helpful walking me through the process. I had absolutely no clue on how to do a spray tan but it came out beautifully (with Maddy's help)! The salon was extremely clean and very nice. My husband came back from a day away and asked me if I had makeup on because I looked so good. Only mascara and I looked and felt great! I wish I lived closer to PBT because I'd get a membership. Unfortunately I live way south and they have yet to move into the area. I'll be watching for them! read more

I enjoy coming here and feel very comfortable. When I first signed up, they were extremely nice and made me feel comfortable. They didn't make me feel like I had to buy the most expensive lotions or package. I really love coming here and their tanning beds are great. I have the gold package and the gold lay down is amazing. Tanning here was one of the worse ideas I've had in a while. I've tried to cancel my monthly payments twice now but too no avail. I've tried canceling online and it has yet to be successful. I have not tanned at this place in over 2 months but have been forced to pay. I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone. read more

the staff is very friendly and accommodating but unfortunately the beds were not clean at all. i have pretty high standards for tanning beds and to see caked on finger prints in the THREE BEDS i went to is absolutely unacceptable. i tanned in the stand up today and it looks like they just reset the bed and put a new towel in the room (hopefully) and go about their day. read more
