I went in wanting to get a spray tan before we left for a long weekend. Everyone was so incredibly knowledgeable, and kind! I wanted to see how my spray tan looked, and also how long it lasted before committing to a monthly pass. It didn't last as long as I had hoped, three days and added the moisturizer as an add on. I will return, because of the great service, and am hoping the next spray tan will last longer. read more

I came here to get a spray tan for a bachelorette party. The ladies at reception helped me mix a custom shade for my tan. I am blonde with fair skin and I used Amethyst and Topaz. I usually get a medium tan, but they convinced me to go dark and I got a primer for $10. I've been spray tanned many times before, but I've never been to this location so they gave me thorough instructions for how to use the machine and avoid orange spots. I was instantly dark after I got out and didn't shower until the next day and boy was I tan! I was worried it was too dark for me, but at the end of my bach weekend, the bride said "have you ever gotten a spray tan before? I'm thinking of getting one" and I was like "girl I have one right now! You thought this was real??" Haha So that being said, I recommend going dark, cuz even if it seems weird to you, it still looks natural to everyone else and it gives you a great boost of confidence. It's a fair price and super quick application. You can also buy an accelerator if you need to wash it off the same day. read more

I was a more than a little apprehensive to come into this tanning salon based on the reviews. Yelp is kind of my bible and I really rely on it. I went in planning to get a month pass before leaving for vacation. I don't love tanning but I also didn't want to be sunburnt and miserable my entire trip. I explained my concerns to the helpful employee. I feel like she was very knowledgeable and honest about what would be best for my skin type. She didn't just to sell me on the top price membership or lotion either. I ended up signing up for a month and getting a really nice lotion. I tanned for a short six minutes and between the lotion and the bed she recommended I didn't feel burned at all and I feel like I got some nice color which doesn't happen for me. So I finally cancelled my Membership at this place. The simple reason was that despite going a lot, i just didn't get the results I wanted--especially for the amount I paid each month. Oh, and another thing that really bothered me was that they were always having personnel changes at the locations I visited. And, every time I came in, the person at the desk would decide how many minutes I could handle in the machine--as if they were suddenly part time Palm Beach employees and full-time, dermatologist. So, no here's the funny thing that happened to me a week before my cancellation. I came to the Saratoga Springs location at noon on Saturday. There were no cars in the front parking lot and I had a few minutes so I thought I would get a tan. I went inside and noticed no person was working, so it would appear. I said hello a few times. Eventually a young woman came from the back bathroom and apologized for not hearing me come in. I made my tanning bed selection and she said she would need to wipe it down and it would be a few minutes. I told her that would be find and I would use the bathroom. She proceeded to wipe down the tanning bed and I went to back to use the bathroom. When I opened the door, well let's just say there was a man in the bathroom with no clothes on and he was standing there at full attention. I shut the door quickly and went back to the front. The woman told me that the bed was cleaned and I didn't say anything and went into the tanning bed and pulled close the door and locked it. When I was ready to get into the bed, I pushed the button to start the tanning bed. But, just then I noticed that there wasn't any time on the button. The woman didn't reset the machine to start again for me. So, I put some clothes on and walked out to the lobby to tell her to set the timer. Guess what? I couldn't find her. I walked back to the bathroom and discovered the door locked! I walked back to the front and about then, she emerged from the bathroom and asked me what I needed. She rest the tanning bed and I proceeded to tan. When I came out, she asked me if I wanted to purchase any tanning supplies and I thought for a moment and wanted to say, "Sure, I will take that lotion there...but, for my silence on what just was happening here today, I expect you to give it to me." Well, I may have thought it, but I didn't say anything and she didn't say anything to me. The next time I came in, the manager was there and I had a fun time explaining to her the events of my last visit. She was so embarrassed and kept appologizing for the employee's behavior. She then told me that was her last day working for the company. That being said, I laughed and said the woman certainly went out with a smile on her face, I guess. Too funny, huh? Well, I haven't renewed my tanning membership; but, it has been fun retelling the story about to my friend--and now, my Yelp friends, too. read more

I come here all the time, like ALL the time. Kinda ridiculous how lately coming in 30 minutes before ten how the employees will repeatedly tell me "were only open for retail and not doing tans" I used to manage a location and this is not AT ALL the rules for PBT or the Lonestar tan company. I pay good money to get a spray and on top of that both past times the booths were OPEN but the employee already "broke down." I want a refund on my membership I'll be taking my business to beaches. Update: the owner replied and left an email address to contact them that doesn't work. How pathetic. read more

I came in on my lunch break expecting to be able to tan on a low intensity bed. I walk in, and was given the grand tour even though I said I've tanned before. 15 minutes in, I get my account created and she tells me I'm allowed to tan like 1/3 of the full time allotted because it's been a minute since I tanned last. And full price? So I have to pay $20 to tan for 5-6 minutes instead of 20............... I would understand if I was trying to tan in a Diamond or Platinum... but gold? Seriously? This was a complete waste of my time. read more

This is by far the cleanest and friendliest tanning salon I have been to. The manage, McKenna, was so inviting and sweet. She let me know about the different options and recommended some AFTER she asked what I was looking for. I have really loved going to palm beach tan. My friend talked me into getting a pass and on my first visit the two boys that were working were so helpful when it came to me picking what color I wanted for my spray tan and not letting me look orange and making sure I knew what to do. And every visit sence then the employees have always been very friendly which definitely is hard to come by In tanning salons. read more

I have had absolutely terrible experiences at this location. Employees are extremely rude, and you can tell they are pressured to sell upgrades and products. I have literally waited over 20 minutes for the employees to clean my bed as they serve other customers that came in AFTER me. They also like to steal your money by forcing you to upgrade or put your account on hold, claiming you earn rewards, and only let you spend the money on OVERPRICED PRODUCTS!! Seriously, go buy your lotions online, and refuse to pay their ridiculous prices. I officially boycott Palm Beach Tan!!! read more
