It was quiet, peaceful, and dark. I found out about Salon Aguilar at a pop-up event in Springdale where they were offering chair massages and mini facials. They had a special for a massage and facial for $95 so I decided to book an appt. I had the massage first with the owner Stephanie. She was great. Very thorough, talked with me first about my issues, always made sure I was comfortable. She didn't talk a lot during the massage, which was nice and she did a great job with my 30 minute treatment especially her arm massage. Emily did my facial after and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure what to expect since she did not take much info at all from me and did not ask about my skin or customizing ingredients for me specifically. But she had a very healing touch and I loved the facial overall which included dermaplaning and a scalp massage. I do wish she would have told me what products she used, and like I said, she did not ask me about my skin and concerns at all. I didn't want her to really sell me products after but to show her expertise and knowledge by telling me what she used and what would work for me would have been nice. I sat and waited till anyone came at 6:15 but was fine with that (schedules run late i get it). I had a picture saved of a simple color with chrome on top and asked the tech if she could help me find the color. She told me I had to pick it out myself but I requested that she helped me since she was an expert and she seemed annoyed. Anyways, I chose out the color and she began. I asked her AFTER SHOWING A PICTURE OF MY DESIGN MULTIPLE TIMES (mind you, a simple color with chrome) if we could do a tester on one nail to see if the color looks good and she said yes. since the salon was closing up, they asked if they could charge me before the design was done and I said OK. I paid my $70 and left a tip. Fast forward 30 minutes she's working on the design and remembers that there's chrome in it. She says she didn't count me for the chrome charge and that I have to pay an extra $15. I was kind of taken aback and even asked her to confirm if this would be 15 on top of the 70$ she had already charged me and she said yes. Whatever I paid and continued. She starts my first nail with a red color and it looks so bright that I remind her if we can test just one nail. She gets so annoyed and starts complaining saying she'll have to charge me extra if we test the nails and have to take them off and goes on to say that it's very late and she should be home right now. That moment made me feel so bad and embarrassed and on top of that, I had to pay so much more than I was expecting for a simple design that the entire experience was ruined. like I understand that people get tired after a long day, but is it my fault that I had a *SCHEDULED* appointment and that she just so happened to be my nail tech? It seemed like she was so frustrated throughout the entirety of the process that I regretted even coming in the first place.

I believe I was a bit dehydrated. In which, I became a little light headed. That was my doing‍Hence, I was drinking coffee at the same time. The Staff checked on me several times. I proceeded to the cool room and I'm not speaking of the Cryo, yet. I was greeted by Morgan, who provided my IV Therapy. Please, ALLOW me to say Morgan Rocks!!! I see why she's the Lead Nurse. They all may be Lead Nurses I'm not sure because everyone was AWESOME. This is my first visit and I was truly educated and informed about all services offered. I shared my needs that I wanted to focus on. The recommendation was spot on. I felt a tremendous difference right after the IV Therapy. Ok, so we moved on to the Cryo machine. I HATE being cold and Morgan does too. Well, I got in anyway! Honey Child!!! Honey Child!!!! What an experience. Your provided a robe, socks, slippers and gloves. They walked you through the steps and reminded you, at any point you can get it out before the 3 minutes is over. Well, I withstood for 1:49 seconds and that was TOTALLY enough for me Then onto the red light therapy. If your not sure what that is or the benefits of it, you may want to research that for yourself.
