Fast forward three weeks and my mom is visiting from Arizona and complained about her toes being bothersome, and she appears to have the same issue. Jimmie is fixing her up and she will see a podiatrist in Arizona when she gets back. Once she is healthy she can find a reputable technician for long term care. I cannot recommend this salon after my experience…read more During my manicure, my technician, MIA, lost control of the e-file and cut my finger on both sides and across the front, tearing the skin and causing it to bleed. What upset me even more than the injury was how it was handled. My technician never stopped to clean my finger and simply continued the service. There was no apology or concern shown. Before leaving, I spoke with them expecting at least an acknowledgment of what had happened. Instead, the incident was dismissed. There was no apology, no discount, and no attempt to make things right. My family spent nearly $250 during this visit. My 7-year-old granddaughter was charged over $56 to polish her natural fingernails and toenails, which also came as a surprise. I understand accidents can happen. What I cannot accept is a business showing no concern after a customer is injured. Customer service is measured by how problems are handled, and unfortunately this salon failed in that regard. The salon is clean and beautiful…read more Since I am new to the area, I booked with Karen, supposedly the owner, specifically because I have not had great experiences with nail tech's since leaving Chicago. I didn't like that bait and switch. It should have been communicated that Karen wasn't available. I was very uncomfortable during the 11/2 hr pedicure. The way it's set up just is odd. The bowl kept slipping so I was trying to hold it so it didn't slip which hurt my legs. The opposite of what a relaxing spa experience should have been. I had two toe nails that were broke so to keep my nails even she left them completely uneven. No communication at all. She should have said since your 2 nails broke do you want me to cut the others down to make these 2 straight or keep them long and these 2 will be crooked. But she didn't speak at all. At all. I asked her to do a 3rd coat since it was streaky. She needed it to dry before putting on a topcoat. At that time my pedicure was over 90 mins already and I had an appt after my services, so I suggested that we start my manicure and then put the top coat on after my manicure. She said no she couldn't do that. No discussion just no. So I skipped the top coat. Definitely just get cozy not cozier or coziest. The towel was cold in a few minutes but she was gone for the 5 mins it was on and the massage was too soft. I decided to just get a cozy manicure. My manicure turned out ok but no scrub nolotion at all. That just seems weird. I was there for 2 1/2 hrs but would have been there for 3 if I didn't downgrade. All for an uncomfortable, subpar service. Not again. Oh and it was Valentine's Day week and not one person came in or called the entire time I was there. Odd. Or maybe not so odd after my experience.

I don't recall how long it was altogether, but I really loved the quality and attention to detail and they were very friendly throughout, including offering some beverages. I have a bad habit of picking at my fingers and they did a great job at cleaning up the damage I had done previously. I would love to return!
