Stopped by here for the first time the other day, really impressed. Seems like the franchise in general takes pride in great customer service. When I arrived there were about 4 - 5 people ahead of me in line. They were answering questions about memberships and things like that, so it took a couple minutes for them to get to me. Once it was my turn they were friendly and quick to take care of me. Game me some recommendations and I was off to my stand up booth. The location (as well as the other one I've gone to) is very clean and the rooms are plenty spacious enough when you get inside them. Communication is excellent and they put clean room indicators inside the room to let you know they have taken care of it. Equipment is set up and all you have to do is hit the Start/Stop button to get going. Nice - non rushed environment. Highly recommend Palm Beach Tan. read more

Trussville Palm Beach is fantastic. Anna truly goes above and beyond to make your tanning experience great. I am fair skinned and she recommended what level/time I start with to develop a darker tan. A month or so has passed and I'm darker than I've ever been!! Anna also explains each tanning bed level thoroughly and even showed me how to stand in the spray tan booth to get an even spray tan. She takes the time to explain the membership levels to you, that way there isn't any surprises when you're billed. I go here all the time and the girls are always super nice and the facility is clean! The only time I've ever had to wait for them to clean something is when they're SUPER busy, but they definitely clean everything before you use it, they make sure of it. Everyone has always been able to answer my questions (with more than an "um") and update me on new things. I've never been pressured to purchase anything unless you consider them just telling you the promotions as hassle... Anyways, I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more

The sign said $25 for a spray tan. When I went in to purchase the spray tan the total was $60. The spray tan is not worth $60!!

Been trying to reach your state customer service for 3 days regarding the horrendous service I have continuously received and to get refunded for the junk that I have barely used due to the horrible service and the lack of cleanliness of this location. Good luck getting anyone on the phone other than at the location you use. The last people I want to deal with is the people at the Trussville location, Every time I ask a question the answer is UMM... I'm not sure. There needs to be a way to contact someone who can answer simple questions. If you give these people your payment info get ready for a hassle with no way of getting anyone on the phone. *******Update keeps getting better. Got a call from customer service from Texas and they told me that Alabama is franchised so they can't help me and then HUNG UP ON ME!*** More to come. *******Got a call from customer service they are refunding me my remaining unused balance. Took 4 days and 3 internet reviews to get there attention but I am satisfied with the end result but will not be returning. I have voiced my complaints at the store level several times and it took me calling multiple times to customer care and reviewing yelp and Facebook to get a response. read more

I saw a review on here saying their dermatologist recommended a " Tanning bed tan " because it's slow & because of vitamin D . TERRIBLE advice ! NO TAN is good for your skin ! TAKE VITAMINS & go to another doctor . I used to go to this location Trussville Palm Beach Tan . The beds were rarely clean, there was always at least 1 bulb out in every bed when I first bought my tan/pack .I sad something EVERY time I went in ..it was always ...OH WE DIDN'T KNOW. then 3rd month in still nothing done . when I ask again . TRACY says oh i thought we got that fixed .. she was very rude and the others followed suit ! So My credit card date Expired there for they couldn't charge it anymore. So I get the call from you know who ! Hi.. we can't get the card you put on file to charge your monthly fee ? Yes..I know..That card has expired . Then she says .. we are gonna have to charge you a fee . I say no.. you can't. you have nothing to charge it on and the service Iv'e been getting when I was paying was very poor / rude / bulbs were out the whole time/beds weren't clean & when I paid an up charge of $5.00 to lay in a level 3 bed that had 2 bulbs out. she still says ..well your still gonna have to pay & pay a Fee for canceling ! I've been a tanning customer - in different salons - for more than 20 years (and indoor gradual tanning has been recommended by my dermatologist because of its Vitamin D benefits and controlled safeness). Last night I returned for the first time in about 6 months to begin tanning - by previously paying the low monthly fee to keep my membership active. Customer service was excellent, applying discounts to my monthly fee and saving a great deal on the lotion, too. PBT is the best in its class and I highly recommend the Trussville location. Wow! Went in there a little apprehensive after reading the other review, and I think that person must have been talking about a different place! The place is immaculate, and has every bed/ spray tan you could ever want! The manager spent about 20 minutes explaining the different beds and what they did. I have been tanning on and off for years and have never been treated with the respect and had someone with that kind of product knowledge take the time to explain everything. I would highly recommend stopping by and seeing for yourself what a top notch business this is. I'm glad I did! read more
