I can't speak for the other offices, but the Boynton office on Jog is great. I arrived, signed in, and was called about 10 minutes later. I gave a sample, was put in a room and about 10 minutes later the doctor came in and told me the results of the sample (yeah good). Asked some questions, asked if I had questions, then said he'll see me in 6 months. It went very smooth. read more

Terrible service. I made an appointment with Dr. Patsias three months ago. When I arrived, they refused to see me and said they had called to cancel it, which is a complete lie. When patients miss their appointments, the doctor's office still charges, which is fine, but today I missed work to attend the appointment, and they didn't even apologize or resolve anything. Very poor service and a complete waste of time that puts my health at risk. read more

I have been a patient for many many years and always treated professionally but with concern and warm. I have multiple sclerosis, which might be a little difficult to treat me like a normal patient, but they always have and they seem to know exactly how to make things better better enough so that I finally didn't have to see them every few months, I had not seen them for over a year and I got good news today too! Justin had put me on a special antibiotic prophylactic to keep me from getting UTIs, which are very common with MS. It has worked fantastically, and it has lessened my pain considerably. Went from having UTIs every single month for at least a week or more to none in a year. Thank you all so much. read more

I have received THREE e-mails from this company addressed to someone named "John", who was either so stupid he didn't know his own e-mail address, or doesn't exist and it's this pathetic company's way of spamming. I wasted my time politely calling them today, asking them to remove my e-mail address from their database, and just an hour ago I received the third, AFTER I had marked them all as unimportant and spam. Sha, that was a big help. So now I am left with no other recourse, except to announce to the world exactly what kind of people they are: they WILL and DO spam you just to get your business. The staff and the physicians are professional, caring and extremely knowledgeable. The whole team takes their time to listen and resolve any problems or concerns you may have, they don't rush you and make you feel cared for. I would never go to any other urologist office. I have never been to a worse doctor. I was assigned him at the hospital for kidney issues and surgery and was told I would need surgery right away by one of the meanest PA's I had ever encountered. She was rude and talked down about every staff member making it seem like they were better and more knowledgeable than everyone at Palms West. I had a stent placed and was told during follow up that I could exercise as normal and didn't need to make any changes by the same nasty PA. Even after slight exercise I was almost sent back to the hospital from the pain it caused that never went away. I went to another specialist who was shocked that they ever told me I didn't have to restrict any exercise or anything. I then had a second surgery to break up my stones I still had and Dr. Patsias came in and was so horrible to me before the surgery that even the nurse at the out patient surgery center had to apologize for his behavior along with the anesthesiologist. I asked one question that was not at all out of the realm of something anyone would ask and was reprimanded "IF YOU WOULD LISTEN...." After I had just been listening to him talk the entire time. I have had many surgeries in my life and I have never been more scared or upset before a surgery in my life. I would never ever recommend this practice to anyone. They were all nasty people in his office and miserable and mean to all of the patients I saw them interact with. Don't go here unless you want to pay to be mistreated, bullied, and demeaned. read more

Bro was extremely easy to talk to, explained everything to me very thoroughly, and had excellent and humorous bedside manner that made me feel comfortable considering what procedure I was having done. I have only been here once so far, and everything went well. The female PA (Nabiha Azhar-Verfaille, PA-C) was extremely nice and knowledgeable. She found out I had a UTI in addition to my original problems. I wasn't happy to hear that, but she gave me the appropriate RX's. I have two follow up appointments, which I hope will solve my original problems. My only complaint is that no one picks up the phone. I tried calling several times, and it always went to voicemail, and no one called me back. I was only calling to try to confirm that they received my CAT scan from the referring MD, and they had not, so it kind of ruined the first appointment. I'm glad I found this practice though. I hope they can resolve my pain. read more

Just avoid this place. Tried to see Dr Portella in December. My appointment was cancelled twice. Finally agreed to see his PA (who I very much like) on 1/5 instead of waiting any longer. Justin assured me we would get to the bottom of things and ordered some tests. I went back 2/2 and was advised one test was inconclusive and had to be repeated. I was told he wanted to do this test before putting me on medication. He advised he would call when the results came in. I got the results 2/5 from Quest and assumed I'd be hearing from the office. I called three times over the next several weeks. I finally got a call back from the nurse who asked exactly what I'm questions were and promised me I'd get a call back. That was on 2/26 ....23 days ago. Guess what...no call. I have never seen a doctors office run like this. There is always a full waiting room. The bathrooms are filthy. I understand almost everyone that goes there had to pee in a cup but the urine and blood on the seat and floor is just gross and not safe. I have now wasted 4 months and have to start over. The doctors at Palm Beach Urology have been very good, unfortunately their office staff is rude and unprofessional; refusing to appropriately identify themselve, don't return calls in a timely manner, give misinformation ( like whether or not certain labs do certain tests) and take zero accountability for their mistakes and problems and are not willing to engage in problem solving to improve. very disappointed read more

Dr Swah was great ..... but this place tricks you into coming into the office for follow-ups only to check you in and then to bill you at the highest or near highest rate available. When called to ask why they didn't charge for a simple quick follow-up, they get nasty over the phone to say that you get charged a set price the second you see someone at that rate which is the highest rate. They could have easily called me to say that my labs/reports all came back good but they wanted me to come in. when i got to the office, the NP asked me why i was there. I said because your office asked me to come in and that turned into a $334 charge for less than 5 minutes. read more

This is by far the worst doctors office I have ever been to. After booking my appointment over the phone for the specific purpose of getting a letter written, three weeks later and I still don't have a letter. When arriving to the office I had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. Dr. Portella said he needed to run some tests on me and that he would write everything down and he would hVe his assistant write up the letter I needed. After emailing his assistant the requirements she was confused and could not type the letter up. I had to make another appointment to speak to the doctor to have him write up the letter. I show up for the second appointment and I wait 40 minutes to be told he will not write a letter. They give me a copy of their reports showing false information and will not even fix the false information. They doctor says he will not even see me even though I have an appointment. read more

This office is a giant hassle. When you show up for an appointment on time, you sit and wait 30 minutes because they scheduled 15 other people for the same time slot. If you show up early, they don't let you in early, even when the lobby is empty I don't think they care about their customers. read more
