We used PDT last year to file our income taxes. We weren't happy with them last year but we decided to use them again their year. If for no other reason, they were familiar with our situation. This year was no better. In my experience, CPA's are supposed to help you save on your taxes. I didn't feel that PDT was looking our for our best interest. For what we got, I felt that we were overcharged too. Probably will do our taxes ourselves next year. read more

I sometimes have complex returns which they handle quickly and professionally. They are incredibly responsive, with excellent communication consistently. They are always accommodating with our work schedules and we have been able to be seen on Saturdays for the past several years, which has been very helpful. Norma answers all our questions and is very patient with us. She answers email questions throughout the year when a tax question comes up. A beautiful comfortable setting to wait; including; coffee, water, snacks and with plenty of free parking. Jordan Broyles (CTEC) of Palm Desert Tax assisted me. Mr Broyles is very knowledgeable, professional and with a very kind disposition that puts you at ease. The cost is $99.00 for a basic tax return, non itemized deductions. There are additional cost services of $20.00 for items such as child care credit, educational credit, etc. that Mr Broyles can also complete. Mr Broyles does not handle itemized deductions such as profit or loss statements, capital gains or schedule E rental and stock.
