When me king, the appointment asked how much a haircut would be and they told me $30. Then, after the haircut, they said it would be $70. On 2/12/23 I Came in looking like a chicken was on my head, and came out looking like a supermodel. All thanks to the hair cuttery team at westchase and to my stylist Taber. 10/10 all around professionalism from the team while also making you feel right at home. Got an amazing all around haircut and bang fix, gloss & toner, blow dry & style for thick wavey/curly hair at mid length coming out to $76. Taber is only there Saturday's and Sunday's so be sure to schedule accordingly with him. I needed a root blend so on 2/13/23 I came in for a root melt with Armando. He came in and did a root melt which left my hair looking like he did a balayage! His technique is hands down one of the best for root melts and the total for a style, blow out, wash, and root melt came to be $69. Below are before and after pictures. You can clearly see the difference and I'm so glad he did my root blend. 10/10 service and all around atmosphere. If you're considering going here please please do!! I went to Hair Cuttery on Monday for a haircut. Ashley was my stylist. She was a nice young lady and very polite. However her hair cutting skills leave a lot to be desired. I asked for a short hair cut, asked for hair to be layered and easy to take care of. I received none of what I requested. She spent about 10 minutes cutting my hair, never touched the top. The back looks terrible, I had wings when I went in because my hair was too long and expected her to get rid of them. Well she didn't. I pointed out all the hair sticking up in various places and asked her to fix. She went over the areas but they were still sticking up. I decided at that point just to pay and get the heck out before I had a bigger mess on my hands. So like a dumb ass I paid her 26.00 plus a 20% tip. In reality I should not have given her a tip. We do a LOT of color and balayage, are clean, thoughtful and optimize our scheduling where we can- yet the salon is at capacity most of the time. Jesus is wonderful for colors! I really recommend him! And, the manager really does honor coupons (looks online there's always 15% off) and makes sure you're happy. I had booked a deluxe blow out for curly hair for my daughter. The man that took the appointment seemed from the beginning that he did not want to take care of her , did not wash her hair properly and it seemed like he just put water on her hair and then I told him several times that she was getting a blow out and he acknowledged. Some else came in and he started doing their hair and left my daughter to the side at which time I asked about her blow out and he stated no u booked a simple cute , I then said no I didn't he checked his computer and realized he was wrong that I indeed booked a deluxe that take75 min. Instead of him saying I will get u next , he said I already have someone else on my chair and can't do it know for next time the deluxe takes over an hour at which I replied " I know that's why I booked and appointment " never again will I go to this in unprofessional place. read more

Manager here- this location is ALWAYS busy, and I'm always looking for great stylists! If at all possible, make an appointment ahead of time as you will have to wait in the lobby. Came in for a wash, cut, style. Stylist was very rushed because they were closing early. I made my appointment online and was a few minutes early. Showed her the style and the. when washing my hair she decided my hair was "thick"'so my $45 hair cut turned into a $65 hair cut. I e been here multiple before and they've never charged for having thick hair. Cut is uneven and choppy. The style had none the volume I wanted in the top that I showed in the photo. She asked me if I liked it while rushing me out of the chair. Didn't show me the back. Didn't put any spray on to hold even though it's July and super humid. Feel like I wasted my money for a so so cut and a stylist that was more concerned with getting out by 6 than making sure I was actually happy with my hair. I won't be back. read more

I've never written a review before, yet alone a negative one however I felt compelled to write one after my experience. I went in with what I thought that was a simple request; the same haircut I previously had. Made it so simple that I even had pictures of me with said haircut from multiple angles. Calling what I got bad would be a compliment to it. Pretty early on I could tell they messed up, and well the unfortunately with hair when you mess up, you mess up. The person who cut my hair was pleasant but definitely incompetent. What was supposed to be a nice haircut for my birthday turned into me paying someone so I could drive home and buzz my own hair. (Didn't want anything near a buzz cut) So if you go, go at your own risk or if you just want to throw money out the window. Happy birthday to me. read more
