They were suppose to do a procedure before they would drop my plan and then reneged on it after I was set to do it.

Let me begin by saying I'm someone who genuinely enjoys spreading joy, kindness, and positivity. I…read morelove highlighting great service and giving credit where it's due. It's rare for me to leave a negative review, but my experience with Crosswater Dental--specifically regarding cosmetic dental work--is something I feel strongly about sharing, both for my own peace of mind and to help others make informed decisions. I came to Crosswater Dental with a broken front tooth and was given two options: a crown or a veneer. I opted for the veneer. The first one looked okay initially, but I noticed a gap between my front teeth that hadn't been there before. At my next appointment, it became clear that the veneer had also turned gray. Dr. Chopra acknowledged both issues--the color and the gap--and apologized, saying she would go with a different vendor for the next veneer. The second veneer had an improved color match, but the gap remained. Additionally, my two front teeth were now so tight that I couldn't floss between them, and I began feeling a painful, pressure-like sensation. Dr. Chopra made some adjustments and believed the flossing issue was resolved. However, a few weeks later, I began experiencing headaches and constant discomfort in my front teeth. At my next visit, I was told I had an infection and was prescribed antibiotics. Unfortunately, to this day, the antibiotics have not resolved the pain or pressure. I still have discomfort, the gap is still there, and my front teeth remain too tight to floss between. The situation has left me not only physically uncomfortable but emotionally distressed as well. On March 26, 2025, I submitted a letter to the office, along with before-and-after photos of my smile. In that letter, I respectfully asked that, if cosmetic dental work wasn't within Dr. Chopra's specialty, I be refunded and referred to someone with the right expertise. That request went unanswered. I used to love my smile. It made me feel confident, and I cherished the compliments I received. Now I'm left with persistent discomfort, a visible gap that wasn't there before, and front teeth that are still so tight I can't floss between them. These ongoing issues make me feel self-conscious and disappointed. This isn't about the money--it's about having to live with something that doesn't feel like me anymore. While I can't speak to the other services offered at this practice, based on my experience, I would not recommend Crosswater Dental for cosmetic procedures. My hope is that the office takes this feedback seriously and considers referring cosmetic cases to specialists when appropriate.

Our daughter loves this dentist office. They are clean, convenient to our house and not super…read moredifficult to get an appointment with. The staff at the front desk is so super sweet I can't say enough about them. In saying all of that there are two main reasons I can't give them 5 stars. The first is over communication. When you book an appointment you get a text, about a week before you get a text to confirm, 3 more texts prior to your appointment, phone call confirming, messages, on and on and on. Its way too much. Unfortunately for me they somehow entered my daughters last two appointments twice (2 different back to back days) which meant I received 2 of all of the above and had to call multiple times to confirm which was the actual appointment so confusing. They never canceled or changed the incorrect appointment b/c apparently they could not see that in their system but the system continued to text me. I even received texts the morning and day of saying I was late. I called and they had no idea why as they didn't see anything in their system that showed we were supposed to be there. Very frustrating. The second reason is my teenager had to have a tooth pulled and she was nervous. She asked to go back with her and I said yes. When she was called back for her appointment I let the nurse know I was going back with her and she told me no. Ummm what? I wonder what they do when they have smaller children visit. I've never had a doctor say that I couldn't go back. I honestly thought it was the law that you be allowed to have someone at any and every doctor's appointment as you chose.

I have needed two root canals and had symptoms for another that Dr Currie diagnosed as something else. He was right and I did not need a root canal on that tooth. He and the whole staff at St. Johns Endodontics have been 100% kind, careful, caring and super competent! By far the best people I have ever had work in my mouth! I am 66 and retired after running a very large business that was focused on customer service across 2000 employees so I know what I'm talking about when I see great customer service like I've experienced with Dr Currie and St. Johns Endodontics!! And the building is beautiful inside with indirect lighting - great music - and wonderful art including some calming art on the monitors above your head while having a procedure done - first class all the way! I can't imagine going anywhere else for a consultation about a root canal

The woman I spoke with insisted that it is their protocol to have a new CT scan done in new x-rays. You've got to be kidding me! In what world is that necessary? These new CT scan machines are the cats meow to the company that designed them and sells them and the doctors that buy them pay a pretty penny for him so I'm sure they want to pay for them. But not on me thank you very much that increased risk and unnecessary need. I'm kind of glad it went that way because I disagreed with getting two more root canals and all the expense that was going to go into my mouth when it made more sense to do two extractions and one bone graph and implant for the same price of a bunch of nonsense that would've hurt me in the long run. Every tooth I have ever lost came from having a root canal that weakened the tooth and ultimately required it to be extracted. Root canals are bad for you. Avoid them at every cost. I worked 20 years in the Dental field, and it was quite a while ago, but root canals are still done the same way, the risks are still the same. A lot of them are unnecessary and that hasn't changed either. Good luck to all of you but look at more updated repairs to your mouth.

I figured it would take a while to get an appointment. I was wrong. Crystal greeted me on the phone, let me know the paperwork I'd need to fill out beforehand and got me set up with an appointment that Thursday. They are located on US-1 near the new Pratt Brother's Grills. They share a parking lot with Edward Jones and a Hearing business. I waited for a few minutes and then my name was called. I was taken back from Anna the hygenist. She took some xrays and pictures. Then she went into the cleaning process. I will say prior to cleaning there were photos she had to take/xrays with a bite piece. It was pretty uncomfortable. When she was cleaning my teeth it was fine, but it wasn't the most comfortable. At my other dentist I feel like they were a bit more cognisant of what may hurt and were a bit more gentle. The dr. came in for a few minutes, said everything looked fine and was on my way. I will say that I had an established relationship with my old dentist and they knew about me and my family. This was only the first visit, so maybe it'll get better.

I typically see Julia when getting routine cleanings, but have had other hygienists as well who are all fantastic. I have had a pretty extensive dental plan that the office has worked with me on scheduling for time purposes, as well as budgeting. I have had zero issues with paying the office only to have to fight tooth and nail (no pun intended) with the insurance company afterwards, which was an experience I had with my previous dentist. I've has procedures from fillings to crowns, all of which have taken care of my issues. Dr Patel is always clear and precise with instructions, and makes sure I am numb if there are any invasive procedures. He takes the time personally to call for follow ups, and just recently I had a tooth chip causing sensitivity. Even though most of the staff was off for Christmas holiday, he got me in today on my lunch break and the hygienist was able to fashion a temporary fix until the doc returns in January. TLDR; Great staff, great care, clean and modern office, great dentist. 5*

Unlike the operatories at other offices I've been in, the dental equipment is hidden which allows the room to be pleasing to the eye. The office features amenities such as pillows and blankets to ensure you're comfortable. The operartories also have a TV on the ceiling to allow you to distract yourself while getting any work done. Dr. Patel is an amazing doctor, one of the best that I have seen. Upon meeting him, he sat with me and we went through my X-rays and pictures that the staff had taken of my teeth. He was very thorough when showing me and explaining what was going on in the X-rays and pictures. He also explained the course of treatment and answered any questions I had.

My child has had several night guards made (in office ) by Dr. Yoder over the past 8 years. They…read morehave been of good quality and was told prior that it's covered for a year. Never had the need to have it replaced during that time, until now. The most recent night guard started cracking with the material breaking down within 6 months. When asked about it being replaced, we were told 'yes', to make an appointment...only to be told later by a different staff member, 'no' that the product would not be replaced...that a small discount could be offered off of a new guard. The material of a $350 product shouldn't break down so quickly and if it does for whatever reason (including possible faulty material) it was to be replaced within the year, as stated by the provider. The office staff isn't being educated/trained properly or consistent with correct information to relay to customers, as I was charged the incorrect amount for the night guard, having to pay additionally, and I was also not given at the time of the original appointment, the option to have a higher quality guard made through a lab at a comparable price through the insurance carrier (which was available at time of service), which would have been the superior choice and was told by a staff member that it would've lasted a lot longer. Again, vital information that should've been relayed at original appointment. Overall, I believe Dr. Yoder to be a good dentist from our past experiences. I'm not sure what has changed in the office or why. However, the lack of communication speaks volumes and is truly a disappointment, especially after having been such loyal customers over the past eight years. Patients like to know that their business means something and it's about the relationship.
