Horrible experience. My group had planned to attend on July 4 with valid tickets in hand, but we were denied entry under what appeared to be selective admission practices that were not clearly disclosed on the ticket or guest list terms. This completely disrupted our 4th of July plans and left our group frustrated and disappointed after making arrangements in advance based on confirmed entry. What made the experience especially upsetting was the unprofessional and dismissive demeanor from staff at the entrance. The way we were treated felt degrading and disrespectful despite following all stated requirements and arriving within the required timeframe. As a combat veteran, I have experienced environments where tension and disrespect are expected--but I did not expect to be treated that way at a public venue in my own city while simply trying to attend a scheduled event with friends. Overall, the lack of transparency in admission policies and the inconsistent enforcement of guest list access made for a very disappointing experience. Avoid this place if you value transparency and control over your bill. We went with a group and had a frustrating experience. (18 bottles of water) at $13 each were charged to bill. Some guy, not even our server, kept refilling the ice & water bottles between our bed and another bed, unsolicited before we ordered anything. No one ordered them! The table next to us was also taking water from the same bucket. We all thought they were included considering the price of the beds and none of us asking for them. We were never given a proper menu. just a quick scroll on a dim iPad that the server held on to. They make you select your tip ahead of time and check all these boxes the minute you walk in for charges etc. I'm all for paying for what I order and consume, but we ended up with triple the items of food menu items that we did not order. I was directed to sign or they would call the police. They count on you drinking and not paying attention to the order with these big groups, or they think you're too drunk to notice and when you question things they try to gaslight you and say you ordered a lot more. Beyond that, the scene was semi-dead, DJ was meh, service before the over-charges was minimal. Pools were clean but water was warmer than other pools. This day club is a little different. It is huge but small at the same time. If that makes any sense. Basically, it has a couple of huge pools all around and a big bar, but the stage itself is pretty small. If you try to get close, I think maybe only 100 people can fit in that little area before it begins filling in tight and accidental groping of random men and women happen. You basically have to watch the show from far away. Regardless of that little setup, which I find weird, the place itself is nice. Got guest list tickets to see Tygo on EDC week. Had no issues, walked in with my EDC shirt, and they said nothing except made me remove my socks, but I put them back on when I saw many others wearing them inside. This place is for sure a partt club. It looks like this is the spot all the frat boys and sorority girls come to party. I was severely overdressed; I showed up in my EDC shirt and Crocs and some shorts. All the men were......well.. shirtless, I would say skinny and muscles but there were a couple shirtless men with my build lol. The ladies were basically wearing not much haha. If that's your thing, then this is your place. I did feel a bit out of place because of it, but no one judged or not once did I feel judged. Everyone was just there for one thing and one thing only: to party for EDC week!! Pretty cool over all. Palm Tree Beach Club is the old Wet Republic at MGM. If you're getting dropped off or picked up from rideshare best to just put Top Golf so you don't have to walk through the casino. We always really enjoy our time at this day club. The service is great, the DJs are usually really good, they have a pretty big pool and stage and if you have a table or cabana you have access to your own pools which feels so much cleaner. Drinks at all day clubs are expensive. There are lockers here and when we get a table we also order food. It's fairly safe here, security can be tight and they will kick out people clearly drunk. I've gotten my flip flops stolen from here so try to bring a not common pair or get a locker or table. We've seen Zedd, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, DJ Oro over the last couple of years. read more

formally known as wet republic, i got onto a free guest list to palm tree beach club, here's my first hand experience. there's only 1 free seating area next to the woman's bathroom, no lounge chairs and despite the many cabanas and couches available today, they were reserved for paying guests. lockers cost $40 per person.... yeah no, cowabunga bay is $20 for the entire day. woman's open bar from 1:30pm - 2:30pm is not much... you can choose between gin, vodka, or tequila and mix it with juice of your choice. inside the women's bathroom there's a tip jar & cash app/venmo qr codes to tip bathroom workers (they hand you paper towels) which is crazy. there wasn't a designated person handing out towels, i had to ask 4 "security" men in blue shirts to show me where the towels were. oh, and music was mid, definitely go if your favorite artist is spinning. other than that i do not recommend read more

Imo palm tree beach club has a good concept and layout but is missing one crucial thing. I love the pool and stage areas. But the sun is beating down in the dancing area and near the stage when it's 107 degrees. It might be great to add some shade, which would make it more comfortable for everyone. It could also prevent heat stroke / dehydration, and will allow people to drink more. Currently, only the paid tables are shaded. I also wish their drinks were as good and strong as the Encore/Wynn pools' drinks. Overall it's still fun - went during Alesso LDW. read more

I attended a party on 05/02/2026 and was asked to leave unexpectedly, without being given the opportunity to collect my shoes and clothing. They did the same to my brother took his shoes and clothes. I was told my belongings would be available at lost and found. However, when I returned today, I was informed that while some items were turned in, my clothes and shoes were missing. Staff were unable or unwilling to explain what happened or assist me in recovering my belongings. This situation is extremely disappointing and embarrassing. I attended the event simply to have a good time, and instead left feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. It is unacceptable for guests' personal property to go missing under these circumstances. I do not recommend this place. I felt extremely uncomfortable with how customers were treated, and the overall experience was very disappointing. When purchasing drinks, staff claimed they did not have change, which made me feel that customers were being taken advantage of. In addition, the establishment only offered large drinks with no smaller options available, which also felt unreasonable and overpriced. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, management appeared dismissive and unwilling to resolve the situation appropriately. As someone who works in the legal field, I believe businesses should operate honestly, transparently, and respectfully toward their guests. Because I take situations involving possible theft or unfair business practices seriously, I intend to file a police report so the matter can be properly investigated. This pool party recently opened up earlier this year at the MGM Grand. It is roughly in the same direction as the public pool for the casino. To get here you would head towards the main hotel pool, but instead of entering through those doors, you will make a right down a hall. Luckily there is always a worker there to ask what pool are you searching for. You will follow that hallway to the outside and ultimately enter from there. There is one main pool that has the view of the main DJ and then there is a secondary smaller pool that still provides a bit of a view but definitely is not the focus. We spent most of our time in that area as there was less people and a bit more of our vibe. We ultimately met so many cool people and had so much fun we only had 20 minutes to get ourselves ready for our night. Luckily we were staying at that hotel so the walk back to our room was very beneficial. I would recommend others to come here. Save your money and avoid the risk of being embarrassed or being arrested without cause. This club has a reputation for ejecting guests arbitrarily using their PO who stand just outside the club, and it seems like once they reach capacity, they push people out just to cycle in more customers and boost sales. It feels less about hospitality and more about profit. It's disappointing that Kygo's name is tied to this, I doubt he's aware of these practices, but if he were, I can't imagine he'd want his brand associated with such questionable behavior. LV PD was even worse by manhandling people for just asking what is going on. They gave no clear information at all other than, "the owner wants you to leave." Are they saying "Kygo" explicitly asked for us to leave? This made no sense. There has to be some sort of reason they are asking you to leave. If no reason is given, then one can only assume the above. And BTW, there was no fight, no one was drunk, this was just really simply shady and awful. read more

Make sure to get on the guest list through the Tao Group app so you don't have to pay for entry. As a local, I love coming to the day pools.
