Things were fine until we had a series of cold weeks Dec-Jan of 2026. The boiler was leaking significant amounts of hot water to the point that our boiler room turned into a sauna and piping became corroded. Despite various calls and visits from Tanous, the issue was not fixed so we had to bring in a separate plumber to redo all the piping and replace key components of the boiler. We shared photos and videos with Tanous during the period of issues. During a particularly cold weekend without heat, they indicated that they could not send someone out to fix the issues. Our plumber indicated that various parts used in the installation looked to be used/repurposed and key items were misinstalled and they had to overhaul the entire system. The owner from Tanous ("Mike") promised to take care of everything and cover the costs of our plumber once he was back from traveling abroad, but went radio silent after we shared the invoice despite various follow ups from Jan-March of 2026. They also refused to provide their insurance to cover the cost of the repairs. I will never be using Tanous again and would caution anyone considering them for such work in the future.

Considering they really couldn't fully evaluate the problem without seeing it up close I agreed. They gave me an appointment for early the next day with a one hour window. They called 20 minutes before they arrived Promptly within the planned time. They diagnosed a PVC pipe that came unsealed from the trash disposal, this loose connection was causing the leak. He repaired it and then called Sal to assess a revised fee. They charged me $225 which considering their professionalism was fair and reasonable. I would most definitely use them again and I would recommend their services to anyone in need of plumbing in this area. As someone who has used professional services in multiple states for construction I found this company to be a straight shooter. If you're looking for a bargain you're barking up the wrong tree here. Pay a fair fee for a fair service. Sal Trippi has earned my trust.

I took him at his professional word and approved the work on that basis. It did not last 12 hours. The system stopped working the same day. Only afterward did I read the fine print on the invoice, which says the opposite of what I was told in person: that a recharge carries no guarantee of operation for any period of time and that the refrigerant may keep leaking. So I was sold a "summer" fix verbally, handed a disclaimer in writing, and left with a system that quit before the next morning. To make it worse, no one had the courtesy to call me and let me know the outcome of the conversation with their technician. Having managed large operations for years, I know there's a right way and a wrong way to do business: set honest expectations, stand behind what your technician promises, and communicate directly. None of that happened here. My advice, get every promise in writing before you approve any work, or better yet, call someone else.

The technician on site was not 100% conversant in English but it was important to him that I understood the problem and he did an admirable job explaining it. Then Alex called me to explain it again and his explanation was consistent with the technician's. He emailed me a detailed description of the problem along with a proposed solution and clear pricing. I paid the $200 diagnostic fee via Zelle. Unfortunately, my boiler needed several new parts in order to be safe to operate (news to me as I had just had a maintenance visit from another provider 3 month prior). The technician was emphatic that I not run the system until the problem was corrected. I understand that the team drove out of state to retrieve the necessary parts for me so that my family would not be without heat overnight. They returned the same day and installed the parts. Again, I paid the sizable but reasonable repair cost via Zelle. The team was careful to explain to me that this safety/pressure problem was not the reason for the noisy pipes! So, they fixed the dangerous issue but still needed to do a valve replacement. They came the next day to replace the valve and found that a more involved job would be necessary because of the age and condition of the radiator battery in my bedroom. But, they explained that they could not do the extensive work in the cold weather because of a risk to the pipes and a possibility that we would be without heat for an extended period of time. They replaced what they could and said they would do a more complete job in the spring when the weather is warmer. So, my pipes are still noisy and I spent a lot of money but at least my boiler is safe to operate. Assuming that they are able to complete the repair job in the spring at a reasonable cost and with the same timeliness that I have experienced so far, I will be happy to continue working with them. It is refreshing to deal with a repair company that handles client communication in such a professional manner. Everyone was careful about wet shoes and mess and all of that, which was also welcome.

Due to permit issues we had for a separate matter, I had to reschedule with Mr.Air multiple times. They also had to hold 4 mini split ACs and two condensers for months because of the rescheduling. We had to change the order a few times due to changing our minds on the location of the condenser as well as electrical work needed. At no point did they complain or demand we store the equipment or move up the date. We had all of the ACs installed in one day (9am to 8pm), and they provided plastic to cover furniture. They didn't slack and didn't complain about my father hovering over them (he loves to watch contractors so he could learn; which I'm sure isn't pleasing to any contractor).
