Treats are individually priced higher than commercially made ones from Costco, Kroger and so on ... but the brownies, lemon bars, rugelach and cookies were made from scratch. They also sell dog treats and have their own version of Dubai bars - filled with chocolate and pistachio combination. Cookies individually priced at $2 and above. Bars starts at $3.95 each slice. For breakfast, freshly bakes bagels and scones are sold, as well as freshly brewed coffee are served hot or cold. There's a table with an assortment of flavored syrup - with self serving pump at your own discretion...not a coffee lover? They also sell tea, hot cocoa and cider. The bakery is at the ground level of a residential and commercial building. It would be hard to miss for the residents especially in the morning...the smell of scones, bagels and freshly brewed coffee makes you want to have continental breakfast there before going to work. There was no music playing in the dining area but the sound of the oven and the scent of baked goods leveled up my mood to a nice day! I was greet by the daughter. She was very pleasant and thoughtful. Made me my iced coffee and packed the bar that I liked in a brown eco friendly container. The coffee was smooth and not acidic to my stomach. The chocolate bar that I had was sweet, soft and delicious. I highly recommend CCB. Just don't get lost on your way :-) it's at Franklin Road. If you see BP gas station and Bigaloria at Northwestern Highway, make a right turn in between and drive straight to Franklin Road. Make a right turn from a children's hospital...drive straight all the way until the dead end and make a left turn to a parking area ... from there you will see a big sign that says Culinary Combo Bakery. From Tuesdays to Fridays - store hours from 730am to 3 pm. On Saturdays, they close early at 12 noon. During Sundays and Mondays - no service. For the coming Easter Sunday or any special occasion, I suggest ordering treat baskets from them.

The bakery offers a smaller selection. I was there was an event, but was meeting friends later and so added some items. Everything I tried was great. The only issue I had was the chocolate was covered in cocoa powder that was a bit messy. The bumpy cake brownie was the standout, I will be back for another. I have a friend who does not like things to be too sweet, and so I got a raspberry rugelach, which she really liked. I also appreciated the items were very reasonably priced!

I understand employees may be busy, so that wasn't my concern. What bothered me was the customer service that followed. I asked for a small Berries Delight and pointed to the individual desserts on the left. Instead, the young man assisting me went to the cakes on the right and attempted to hand me a small cake. I politely stopped him and explained that I wanted the personal-sized Berries Delight on the left. He responded by saying, "Those are called slices," in a tone that came across as rude and condescending. I then asked if I could have a fresh one from the refrigerator because the one in the display case looked like it had been sitting there for a while. He insisted the display one was fine, but I repeated that I would prefer one from the refrigerator. He reluctantly got one and handed it to me, saying, "There's your fresh Berries Delight," in a sarcastic tone. I visit Sweet Dreams regularly--between this location and the previous one, I stop in about four times a month. I've always enjoyed your desserts, which is why this experience was so surprising. I've never been treated this way before. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the quality of customer service should match the quality of your products.
