A wonderful little bakery that is a bit off the beaten path in Southfield…read more The bakery is clean and simple, they have several tables and it was quiet during my visit. The bakery offers a smaller selection. I was there was an event, but was meeting friends later and so added some items. Everything I tried was great. The only issue I had was the chocolate was covered in cocoa powder that was a bit messy. The bumpy cake brownie was the standout, I will be back for another. I have a friend who does not like things to be too sweet, and so I got a raspberry rugelach, which she really liked. I also appreciated the items were very reasonably priced!

Excellent bakery owned and operated by a mother and daughter team. I have tried multiple deserts…read morethat they make where all of them were delicious and oh so tasty. My favorite dessert is the Rugelach which is very similar to the Polish Kolache ( crescent-shaped pastries filled with sweetened nuts or fruit preserves) which my family has during the Xmas and Thanksgiving holidays. Multiple fillings to choose from where all of them are good based on personal preference. Other favorites of mine include the Dubai Brownie, Pecan bars (If you love pecan desserts this is a must try), and their chocolate covered rice crispy treat (next level rice crispy treat). Relative to staff and environment, The owners themselves are very personable and very friendly as they are more than happy to explain their various desserts, many of them ethnic oriented. The shop itself is relatively small with a limited number of tables but definately a comfy clean environment. Definately a great place to go sit down and enjoy one of their desserts with a cup of their full bodied Joe. Overall, a business you should check out if you are in the area and have a hankering for something sweet. You will not be disappointed.

Thank you Sweet Dreams! I'm a food photographer and stop motion artist for snack, dessert and…read morewellness brands. It's off-season and I needed a raspberry tart to use for flavor cues for a client's launch of their new Raspberry Tart Wafer protein bar flavor. Due to a food allergy I didn't want to style the tart myself. I contacted a number of local bakeries as well as Plum Market, Whole Foods, Zingermans and more. None could accommodate my specific request. Finally, I came across sweet dreams and they were able to make me a beautiful raspberry tart to use for my images, based on the appearance, I wanted and in a timely manner. The location and store seem very nice too. And the pastry itself turned out great! Check out the images to see how pretty it was and how perfectly it worked. I can't believe I have never written a review for this place. It's awesome…read more Overall (A) We have been coming to sweet dreams for over 25 years. First to get desserts, then our wedding reception cake and now to enjoy with our kids when we are back in town visiting. Food (A) The desserts are excellent and they have a ton of options. They are sweet but use high quality products Service (A) Super friendly and fast. Value (A) Can get a ton of sweets for the whole family for around $30-$40. Not expensive and not cheap but just right. Just try them out when you are next in town. Not sure what is driving the negative reviews. I would ignore them as one offs and maybe entirely accurate The positive ones are more in line with my experiences Note - I have probably visited nearly 30 times over the last 25+ years
