Stella wanted to go here and check them out. They are a James Beard award recipient and it was well earned. Stella ordered a Mango Cheesecake which was light and creamy. Absolutely delicious! I asked for a Savory Torte, also amazing. Drinks were a latte and a hot chocolate. A very nice setting for decadent treats. There are seats inside and out. A lovely place to go.

Decided to check out their new location. I would frequent the midtown location when I lived in the area. This location has a nice vibe with a cool setup. If you like modern patisserie it's worth checking out.

Delicious & beautiful pastries on Detroit's east side. Great way to spend a couple of hours exploring the grounds.

Nice desserts and attractive surrounding. Menu is limited and they have coffee and tea. Everything is high quality. Seasonal Tart was 11 dollars, 4 for a cookie.

The pastries are absolutely exquisite, and the coffee's just as lovely. It's within walking distance from where I live, so I thought I'd pop over and work from Warda's instead of home for a change. But it turns out they have a no-laptop policy, no Wi-Fi either! The barista kindly pointed out the little sign taped near the register that I'd completely missed.

What a cool space! Classic old farmhouse converted as part of the whole "Shepherd" project. In short, a place to spend an hour or two when exploring Detroit. Warda's second location is clean and organized with quick service and a simple display of unique pastries, sweets and quiche. Standard coffee options and a couple fun lattes. I had the baklava latte and quiche. Both excellent. Kids enjoyed the cookies immensely.
