What a cute spot! The staff was super friendly and greeted us when we arrived. The display cases and check out area is adorable- tre chic!! Plus all of the pastries are just as delicious as they look! I enjoyed the quiche and our coffees were strong. Highly recommend

Stella wanted to go here and check them out. They are a James Beard award recipient and it was well earned. Stella ordered a Mango Cheesecake which was light and creamy. Absolutely delicious! I asked for a Savory Torte, also amazing. Drinks were a latte and a hot chocolate. A very nice setting for decadent treats. There are seats inside and out. A lovely place to go.

Decided to check out their new location. I would frequent the midtown location when I lived in the area. This location has a nice vibe with a cool setup. If you like modern patisserie it's worth checking out.

Delicious & beautiful pastries on Detroit's east side. Great way to spend a couple of hours exploring the grounds.

Nice desserts and attractive surrounding. Menu is limited and they have coffee and tea. Everything is high quality. Seasonal Tart was 11 dollars, 4 for a cookie.

The pastries are absolutely exquisite, and the coffee's just as lovely. It's within walking distance from where I live, so I thought I'd pop over and work from Warda's instead of home for a change. But it turns out they have a no-laptop policy, no Wi-Fi either! The barista kindly pointed out the little sign taped near the register that I'd completely missed.

OMG this place is the best!! Today I had their rhubarb pastry which has crispy layers of flaky pastry yet it had a delicious chewy marzipan custard and the perfect amount of rhubarb filling. Oh their fresh ground coffee is amazing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed their LBD dessert. It was the best cake he or I ever had. Please visit this patisserie, it's cheaper than flying to Paris and just as delicious right here in Detroit!!!

What a cool space! Classic old farmhouse converted as part of the whole "Shepherd" project. In short, a place to spend an hour or two when exploring Detroit. Warda's second location is clean and organized with quick service and a simple display of unique pastries, sweets and quiche. Standard coffee options and a couple fun lattes. I had the baklava latte and quiche. Both excellent. Kids enjoyed the cookies immensely.

I was here just after they opened (at 6 am!) and enjoyed morning coffee and wifi before heading to the office. I love a coffee shop that has a cortado on the menu. Or a Gibraltar. This tells me that the barista isn't some button pusher but instead of a craft coffee barista who actually has some training. I'm talking to you, Green Siren people. The barista this morning assembled a perfect cortado for me. Half espresso and half steamed (not foamed) milk in a short glass. I love the cortado because it's the same amount of coffee as a big latte but now I won't need to hit the restroom all morning! It was fabulous, delivered to my table as I wrote my morning's Yelp reviews. Dessert Oasis is a little grunge, a little industrial, a little coffee shop. It's not fancy but they have lovely wooden tables, comfortable seating, quiet music and power outlets. If I wasn't heading into the office, I could spend all day sitting here and OD'ing on great coffee. [Review 869 of 2025 - 434 in Michigan - 24426 overall]
