We've had several appts with Dr. Lee. First of all she is an awful Doctor, zero patience, does not know how treat kids, not caring or respectful. When you tell her what's wrong with your child she give off this impression as though she does not believe you. She was rough with my child and never made him feel at ease. This is the most horrible doctor you can ever have. The first time we went to see her, she let us wait for more than 1 hour and the reason was she was chatting on the phone. The second time she was completely late for more than an hour again, not even in the office. We walked in with a sick baby and we were the first patient of the day. The office assigned us to her because our doctor was out. We ended up being the lastest to be seen because she was late. We complained to the office and said we want to be seen by another doctor, the office said no. We said this is unfair, the office said we did assign you the first but we wouldn't know the doctor would be late. We ended up being seen by another doctor because she never even showed up that day. If you think this is just one incidence, it is not. Every time when we were assigned to this doctor, the wait is at least 1 hour or more (I can say at least 3 times in a year) Be very careful if you want to choose this doctor as your primary doctor. read more

Dr Lee has been my sons' doctor for the 9th year now, and I would say majority of time our experience with her is pleasant. Out of visits throughout our 9 years, there might be 3-4 times that the wait was longer than I would have expected. On average we get to see her within 20mins of wait time. Dr Lee is a kind and experienced doctor, and works well with my boys. Usually Dr Lee speaks quite quickly and might come across to some as lack of patience but it's really just the way she speaks. When you actually have a question or a serious issue with the kid, she is very patient. My older was very sick when he was 3-5 years old with asthma issues. I still remember the visit that he was diagnosed. The night before, my son was coughing for the whole night and had trouble sleeping. My husband and I had no experience with asthma so we didn't think of that. We took him to Dr Lee as soon as the office opened. Rather than being quick with symptoms and telling us he's fine like she usually would, she sat down and observed my son breathing for like 10 minutes. Our hearts sank and we knew sth was wrong. She was very patient with him, introduced the nebulizer, and diagnosed him with asthma. Since then we saw her at least a few times a year until about 2 years later, she had to admit that our son was one of her most challenging asthma patients and she referred him to an allergist who was very helpful. Eventually my son outgrew his asthma. I am taking both of my boys to her now and we are thankful that we have Dr Lee all these years. read more

Dr.Lee has been a wonderful pediatrician to my three children for 8 years. She was recommended by my first OB doctor (Dr.Deborah Yu) and my kids were always in good hands with her! Sadly to say,but she's no longer our pediatrician because her group (health care partners) is no longer in our insurance. After having to look for 3 other pediatricians, there's no doctor like her and her nice pediatric office. I'm still hoping her group will sign on with our insurance in the future.*crossing fingers* Yes,Dr.Lee has a lot of patients but we only wait 5-10 minutes for us to be seen by her. She will ask you if you have any questions or concern and will take the time to answer them. Sometimes we'll even chat and laugh about other things since I've known her for so long. When my daughter was really sick, she even called me to check how she was doing. She's very caring and approachable. Thank you Dr.Lee! There's 7 other pediatricians that you can see there if Dr.Lee is not in for that day. They are all very good doctors. If you child is sick or have any concerns on a weekend or late at night,one of the doctors will call you back right away. They use a laptop as a chart instead of using a regular piece of paper,not like our current pediatrician, so that's really cool. The waiting area- has a non sick child area,sick room area and a breast feeding room. Hi 5 to that! If your child is sick and have no appointment,you can come between 8:15 - 8:45 am as a walk in! *score* ALL the pediatricians in this office goes to Methodist or Huntington Memorial. read more

O star if there was an option. Poor, very bad demeanor. She held my child's head down with strong force to look inside her throat. Traumatized the child to the point she screamed, yelled and cried. Would never come back to this doctor again. Parents do yourself a favor and passed this review on. Knowledge is power. At first, I was unsure of Dr. Lee, since she was a pediatrician appointed to us by my OB. But after meeting her at Huntington Hospital and after a few visits to her office, we feel comfortable with her care of our daughter. The office is always busy (several doctors working out of the large office) and it can at times, be hard to get a hold of a live person on the phone around midday. But I've left a message before and my call was returned promptly. I do appreciate there being a nurse's line for general health questions regarding baby's care, so you don't have to wait to speak with the doctor. All the nurses have been exceptionally nice and sweet (especially the older ladies!). **If you're more than 20 minutes late, the office has the right to re-schedule your appointment, so definitely get there early** Bottom line, Dr. Lee does work fast, but it doesn't necessarily feel rushed. She will address whatever questions/concerns you may have in a cordial manner. read more

After a long wait in the waiting room and finally leaving because we were 45 minutes past our scheduled time, I let the office know my dissatisfaction. Next time, we didn't wait too long, and Dr. Lee was rather pleasant this time. Sometimes its a hit, sometimes a miss I guess. read more

I wanted to add that I just had our first physical with Dr. Lee ! Dr. Lee took her time and answered all questions and concerns. She always talks directly to my child and listens AND responds to everything that is said to her. She is sincere and patient. She completed a thorough exam and did not rush through. She did a head to toe check up including a healthy eating check list to make sure my child knows the correct portions and types of food that is best. Her nurse Philly was kind , gentile and patient. My child received the TDAP vaccine and before my child could turn away the vaccine was given and the band aid was applied. Absolutely amazing and fantastic! We left smiling and cheering ! Thank you to an amazing Doctor and compassionate nurse! We appreciate u both! There was also NO wait and we were seen on time. The last three times that i went to see Dr. Lee, i had to wait at least 30 minutes even though i had an appointment. The nurse is not very friendly nor helpful. Dr. Lee seems to care about my daughter but whenever i see her, i feel like i'm rushed as she is always late to her appointments and wanted to catch up. I have been taking my son to Dr. Lee since he was a newborn (13 years now). I have been very pleased with the Dr. Lee and the staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I usually only have to wait 10-15 minutes to be called for my appointment. I really like the walk-in service in the morning for sick children. I also have been worked in at the last minute when there was a pressing problem. The triage nurse has been especially helpful when my son was running a 104 degree fever and I couldn't get it to break. Overall, my experience has been extremely positive and both my son and I really like Dr. Lee. read more

Triage nurse, doctor staff is HORRIBLE. Worst experience I've ever been through at ANY Doctor's office. This was definitely an eye opener. Rude, condescending and extremely unpleasant staff at this office. One of the staff members even hung up on me. Haha! Amazing that people are gutsy enough to treat patients and parents this way. Dr Lee rushes through the visit and total time seeing my son was maybe 2 minutes AFTER we had been waiting for almost 2 hours. Two minutes is all she could spare us to rush through the visit see my son? Not good. Dr. Lee seems to be aware of how bad her staff is but does not seem to care about doing anything about it. Should you ask for a call back from her, don't be surprised to get a voicemail popup on your phone with a message from her as though you missed her call. She uses SLYDIAL which is a service that allows someone to avoid talking to you and takes the caller direct to your voicemail to leave a message. This is solely to leave you a message without actually talking to you I had to move my son to a different Dr due to not wanting to deal with the staff at this office again. Dr. Lee's office just cancelled my appointment for the second time in a few days. Last time, they gave a couple of days notice. This time, they only gave 3 hours. Doctors insist on 24 hour notice when a patient needs to cancel or charge a cancellation fee. Why can't patients do the same? read more

My personal experience with Dr. Lee and the staff at Huntington Medical Foundation has been great. Dr. Lee does talk fast, but she covers everything necessary at each of my daughter's check up, and addresses any question or concern we have. The front desk ladies are very nice, and the nurses are sweet, more importantly, good & quick on giving the shots. We have had about 10 visits, there was only one time that we had to wait over 20 minutes, because it was a Monday after long weekend. Usually, we get called by the nurse within 10 minutes of the scheduled appointment time, and Dr. Lee usually comes in the room about 5-10 minutes after the nurse is done with all the measurements. read more

My review of four stars is for Dr. Lee herself. She is very good with my kids and has always listened intently and taken lots of time. She is a really good doctor. I'm not giving five stars because the staff, with the exception of the lovely Mary, isn't very nice. In fact they are downright rude. The last time I was there I felt the need to count to ten several times so as not to be snarky myself. There is no need to be rude to parents either in the office or on the phone. It seems from what I have read that this is a typical experience within this medical group. read more

I was disappointed in my service from Dr. Lee. My son's regular pediatrician was not working on Saturday so Pamela Lee was the on call doctor for sick children. I was disappointed in the way she handled my son's case. She made me feel that I overdosed my son and that she needed to complete her calculation to see if he was in the safe zone. She came back and was way off on what a overdose would've considered. She made me feel horrible as a mother. Then she prescribed Tamiflu for my child which is a strong drug for a child who has a regular flu. There she claims I'm over medicating my child which her calculations were way off to accuse me and now she is medicating my child with strong drugs. She needs to revisit her people and medical skills. Luckily my son recovered beautifully the next day without needing Tamiflu! read more
