Visit this place only with the understanding that it is more like a doctor's office than anything else. You will not get a relaxing facial - let alone experience - by any stretch of the imagination. After being denied a photofacial because my skin was too dark, I opted for a chemical peel. I wasn't happy with my experience for the following reasons: Obviously the chemical smells and burns. The difference between this chemical peel and others that I've had was that she didn't cover my eyes - she got the chemical on my lips - and she left me for "5-6" minutes, which was actually closer to 10. The chemical surrounded my nose and I literally couldn't breathe for the first few seconds of her applying the chemical. She handed me a small fan to help with the burn, but after 10 minutes, it was more uncomfortable to hold my arm up to fan my face than it was to let my face just burn. She left for those 10 minutes with the lights off, then came in and turned the lights on. Though warning me to watch my eyes because it was going to be really bright, it was extremely uncomfortable and I feel like having covered my eyes would have been a better idea all the way around. When my skin started peeling after a couple of days, my lips were painfully peeling as well - it was very visibly dry and peeling and uncomfortable. I have had chemical peels that took my comfort and well-being much more into consideration. I even had to remove my own makeup before the treatment. While I did that, she showed me some pictures of people that used an at-home care program that cost $525 to purchase and that I would benefit from it - also that people of my nationality "always have problems with their skin, and I don't know why." It was just an uncomfortable situation. She put in about 8 minutes of work on me and it was not worth the money I paid, even with a Groupon. I would not recommend this place. read more

Used My groupon yesterday at Dr.Pamela Stuarts office, the staff and Dr. were both very friendly and informative, I brought my gf along with me since she had questions about skin care as well and Dr. Stuart was very informative. She took a lot of time with me and explained everything in detail. And to top it off this morning she called me personally to check in. She was a delight I will deff see here again in the future and would reccomend her to other people as well. I'm so happy I went to Dr Stuart! I was struggling with hormonal acne. It started after I switched birth control. I got it so bad around my chin and dealt with it a few years and nothing helped. I finally decided I needed to see a professional. She looked at my skin, took before pics put me on a regimen and the first few months I did not see any changes. I was feeling so down but she advised me to keep using the products and be patient. When I went for a follow up she took photos and it was better than before but not completely gone.
