So, I was skeptical, but decided to give it a try. Context: I accidentally "OD'd" on too much ADHD medication - I accidentally double-dosed. As you probably know, ADHD meds are often amphetamines and in the right dose, it can work beautifully, but too much... and it's a nightmare. After accidentally double-dosing, I was up for 24 hours and was wrecked. I couldn't eat... didn't want to drink... I just catatonically binged watched TV for 24 hours. I was dehydrated and my stomach was in knots. Hydration always makes you feel better, but I just didn't have the desire/tolerance to drink anything. I went in that morning and the RN mixed a "cocktail" of some magnesium and other things. She started the IV and literally within seconds I could taste the concoction. It wasn't unpleasant, but just tasted like you had a vitamin in your mouth. Within minutes, my stomach ache went away and I felt so relaxed. Immediately after the IV, I went for a BIG sushi lunch, came home around 1pm and crashed out. It literally reset me. read more

Beyond disappointed. Came in 7-ish minutes before my appointment and not a soul in sight. I took a seat and waited (the space is one big room). 10 minutes later a woman came out from the bathroom - didn't bother greeting me - but asked if I was "insert random name here." I told her no, and she proceeded to ask if I was the next person, and I was. She had me sit in my choice of chairs (which wasn't very comfortable to begin with). 30 minutes later, she still has not been able to start my IV, but was able to blow out two veins. She was on/off the phone with her "boss" the whole time and really lacked in any confidence. Meanwhile three other people came in, so she got overwhelmed managing all of us. About 45 minutes after arrival, my IV had finally begun. I was on a tight time frame, so I was unable to finish the bag and she opted to give me the vitamin shot in my arm. She did not tell me about any adverse side effects, she just gave it. It hurt like hell then the pain subsided as I paid and left. Within 5 minutes, my arm was completely immobile and I was in tears. It was extremely swollen (the bandaid pad made a massive indent on my arm), and I lost all grip strength. It remained like this for the next 6 or so hours. When I called, I was told to just ice it and that I was fine when I left. The pain in my arm remained for nearly a week. I will never go back and will never recommend this company. There are so many options in the tri-valley. This place is novice at best. The icing was that I received an email afterwards offering a discount if I left a 5-star review on Yelp. Pretty sure that goes against FTC and Yelp rules. read more

The Pleasanton location is nice (the other is a bit dingy), and good products, but we had a pretty horrible experience with the supervisor, Minh, which I know others have had as well (just read some of the other negative reviews that mention her below) In short, my 74 year-old requires some pretty regular IV injections for a brain condition she's been struggling with for years. Minh (the coordinator) requested that we need a doctors note to continue treatment. We then jumped through many hoops to get this doctors note (since my mom had just moved from out of state), but after presenting it to Minh, she was unresponsive, unclear, spotty. It was wild! She suddenly became so rude, cold, distant, uncommunicative. Didn't answer emails, sporadically answered texts. It was really frustrating and so hard to schedule an appointment, meanwhile my mom suffered... The good news is that we eventually found another IV clinic that has been EXCEPTIONAL with much more responsive owners and cheaper prices. But just be forewarned as others have noted, Minh is very hot and cold and difficult to wrangle at times, which can really negatively impact people when their health and wellness is on the line. I think she means well and seems like a nice person but it was a very bad experience for both my mom and me. read more

Let me start off by saying I've been here before and the first experience was 5 star but today was a completely different story. I've had several different IV drips around the Bay Area, this one happened to be a convenient location today. I had booked a IV drip for two people at 11:30. Got there a little early and was waiting around for about 10min and nobody even acknowledged us. There was a patient there getting a drip. After waiting around for a few more minutes I decided to walk to the office to find somebody. She was surprised and asked if we had an appointment. I explained we had an appointment for 1130. She didn't introduce herself and was all over the place. Not much communication but we took a seat and she took our blood pressure. She had a hard time finding my vein and made it very uncomfortable. I give blood and get iv's regularly and I've never had anybody have a hard time finding my vein. She finally gets me setup with just the saline. She moves on to my friend and misses his vein in both arms - I could tell he was tensing up. She had him drink some water then proceeded to poke him again this time closer to his hand. By this time my bag is about half done and she realizes she didn't put my vitamins in..she finally puts them in the bag then does the same from my friend. During this whole process she was constantly dropping various items on the floor, picked them up off the floor with her gloves on and didn't change them before giving us the IV. She kept the same gloves on that touched the floor during the entire process. My friend and I both had the same drip. I got done about 20 mins before my friend. She wanted to check my blood pressure again and had major issues! The first machine kept saying low battery. The 2nd machine kept saying error. She was messing with the first machine and I thought she changed the batteries. She came back for a third time and it's still saying low battery. She grabs her keys and goes out to her car. Comes back in, leaves the front door open (mind you it's COLD) and shrugs saying she doesn't have batteries in the car. So she tries the 2nd machine again. Same error. This goes on about 10 mins. She goes in the office, takes out what appears to be a new machine and finds new batteries. She puts the batteries in the original machine and here we are 20 mins later and she finally gets my blood pressure. This was probably the worst experience I've ever had getting an IV drip done. I'll definitely ask who the nurse on hand is before ever making another appointment here. read more

I booked a last minute appointment today and was very happy I was able to get in as my normal spot was closed.However I didn't expect to be there for 2 hours. There was one nurse there and two people were there when I arrived no problem! I took a seat and he later attended me. While I was there another couple came in and they were finished/ were helped before me although I arrived before.I didn't appreciate the service. I went online to find an IV infusion spot this location came up with great reviews I called on a Sunday the women seemed very educated and explained what they do she told me that she will send over a link so I may send over my blood results and they can have a doctor review it and tell me how much iron I should take my appointment was the next day I still didn't receive anything i arrived to my appointment the nurse directed me to call back the number I used to schedule and a women with a Spanish accent picked up and said she will text me and to send her the images via text mind you the nurse was already starting my IV I had very low iron but no professional in the building to accurately see my condition and my blood work to give me the right dose 100mg is $200 200mg is $350 the nurse reached out to some one and they said to give me 200mg without any one reviewing my blood test first the nurse was kind but also cross contaminated alot she was just there to insert an IV not even ensuring through my blood work what I needed as the women ensured when I booked the appointment she gave me about 2 table spoons of iron that she injected in the bag. I waited for the other women to hurry and respond with answers on how much I needed to take i listened to instructions and sent my info through text she didn't give me any answers until two days later and said I needed to pay $1200 for 5 sessions . I felt no different that bag was mostly hydration with 2 tablespoons of iron I payed $350 for a scam this Buisness was extremely unprofessional and is just here for your money I highly do not recommend I'd actually steer clear away from here if you are extremely deficient on anything they won't help they will just talk a lot and convince you to pay a higher amount without any medical support or review. read more

The atmosphere to this location was nice, spacious and clean. I arrived few minutes early and was accommodated by the only staff person (nurse) working. I was sat down in a nice comfy chair and it was time for the stick. I told the nurse that usually people have trouble finding my vein. Well, the left arm was a fail, then we used my right hand. That was a fail then we used another vein in my right hand which worked thankfully. If that one didn't work, I was probably going to leave at that point. The nurse was very friendly and nice though during my stay there. I think there should be more than one staff member working. At one point there was a total of 5 customers receiving treatment by this one nurse who's supposed to be monitoring everyone. I'm not sure if I'll go back to this one, but I'm all about second chances. Maybe it'll be a better experience next time. Getting poked 3 times isn't fun. The guy in front of me vein start getting enlarged somehow. But the nurse was busy tending to another customer, so now he had to get stuck on his other arm.
