WARNING!!!!!! PLEASE READ: I started getting Botox about 16 yrs ago and only once ever had a minor issue. I would actually recommend it to anyone concidering it. However where you go is a different story......After not being able to afford Botox after my divorce I had to wait 5 yrs before I could go have it done, my kids had saved their money and gave me funds to get Botox for X-Mas, I was very excited. Looking through the web to find a location I came upon Forever Young Med & Laser Spa. Recognizing Mr. Cohens name I went with it. (note "Mr. Cohen") I refuse to recognize him as a Dr.! His staff was great, friendly and very nice this review does not in any way reflect them from my perspective. Cohen walks around from room to room looking confused as to what he is doing from one minute to the next saying "Where do I go now and what am I doing?" My room door was open so I could see and hear him. I specifically asked about his occurances of what is called "droopy eye" a minor but annoying complication that can happen. I was assured that he had only had about 5 or so issues with that and I know it is a risk...it happens. I spent $490.00 to have my entire forehead done and yes to reviewer Linda S. it should only take 3 to 4 days for results to start not 2 wks. Needless to say I feel Mr. Cohen uses the bottom of the barrel product I think he is a bottom of the barrel person in the medical field... I am a nurse and have been in the medical profession for 14 years. It has only been about 4 wks since I had the Botox done and my wrinkles are back never having completely gone away. That is after I went back after a week with no results from the first set of injections. Further more it had dawned on me as to why his name was familiar. Cohen was or still is an OBGYN and yrs ago I went to him for an IUD placement. I was traumatized, not only did I leave his office feeling violated I ended up getting a terrible infection because he botched the placement so severely. I now have scar tissue to my cervix as a result. This Erik N. Cohen is a menace to the medical profession and has no business being involved in it, in my professional and personal opinion. I don't generally believe everything I read, especially reviews. So I was cautious when I saw all the 5 stars listed for this office. First, this is really a medical office, with a physician (Dr. Cohen) doing the treatments I had. Sure the staff was great, but the bottom line is the expertise and advice you receive. Dr. Cohen took his time and LISTENED to what I wanted. When what I wanted was not the appropriate best treatment, I was given medical ADVICE, not a sales pitch. I listened and had all my questions answered. I then was given the time to decide what I felt was best for me, not what was best for the doctor. He actually took me back and showed me the new equipment he had, and explained how it worked. I decided that for me a combination of a laser to reduce my spots and superficial wrinkles along with a something like a laser but called ablative skin resurfacing was best for me. I have had three treatments so far and see great results. I can not wait till my fourth treatment. After I complete my treatment plan, I think that I can go to a maintenance program to keep these fantastic results. Bottom line...read the reviews but it is worth coming in to really know that you actually can get a free consult from the doctor that performs the treatments. If you are looking into getting Vela-Shape, Forever Young med Spa is where you should go... To be honest I have looked into many websites about vela-shape...I was kinda uncertain about this whole thing of course cause all the non-working Lying gagets and gizmos out there. Thinking how can a heated vaccume be able to tighten skin and get rid of unwanted fat? I thought I would go ahead and try it anyways since their are more top ratings then low ratings and so I found forever Young med spa and when I got their the staff was truly friendly and really explained everything your getting in detailed..There is payment plans also. So the first thing what they do is check your problem spots and they will tell you what spots will you will get the most benifit from. choose your problem areas and they will use this heated vaccume over and over your problem spots that you've discussed but you will need multi. section treatments once a week. I got my picture taken and was measured at the beggining and 3 treatments in my loose skin from two babies got tighter and tighter each time and my fat is slowly disappearing also.. really I couldnt believe it until I see it and I sure saw it so Yes this really does work and I live and saratoga and I drove everytime to Morgan Hill just because this is a great place for relaxation and friendly spa. read more

For many years I have been trying places to clean up my acne scarring. I found Dr. Cohen's office in a magazine ad and thought that it was worth a try because he had a different piece of equipment that was not a laser and not the dermal abrasion I tried in the past. Dr. Cohen took the time to sit down with me and explain different ways to treat the scarring. He gave me places to learn about the treatments on the Internet. He suggested that I check our the matrix treatment. I did and found out it was quicker and safer than the lasers I tried before. I bought 4 treatments and began seeing results about three weeks after the first treatment. I just finished my 4th treatment and I am amazed that something so quick, fast and only slightly uncomfortable worked so well. Now that I have a face I am not ashamed of I am going to try some other treatments to keep me feeling good about myself. read more

I have been a patient of this office for the past 5 years. Originally I was just gyno/OB patient but when they started doing injections and laser treatments I was very excited to try some of there treatments. I have never had a unpleasant experience with this office! I have sent many friends and family members and they have all been happy as well. The staff is very friendly and cater to your every need. They are very reasonable with their pricing and never recommend unnecessary treatments. I would highly recommend this office for injections/laser treatments and hormone issues!!! This place is great!! Dr. Cohen, not only knows what he is doing but, he is so friendly and very helpful! Raquel, is amazing, so comforting and helpful! She definitely knows her stuff! I had a wonderful experience there and will keep going back as long as they are in business, which will be a very long time, you can tell by the way they treat their patients and the excellent job that they all do. I got in on one of their specials for laser hair removal, cheapest I have found! It worked wonderfully and I am so happy with the results! It's about 2 months from my last treatment and... At my age I did not think anything would make me feel better about getting old. I checked out other places and all they wanted me to do is buy botox and fillers. Dr. Cohen took his time and explained other things he could do to make me look better. He told me about a long term injection called Selphyl that regenerates my face. He also told me about other treatments that use heat to help tighten my saggy skin. I tried the injections and heat treatment. It has now been 8 weeks and the change is unbelievable. Being a 38 year old man and hearing that I needed to address my aging was not a good thing. However, Finding a place that took me in and provided an free assessment of the situation and did not make me feel like a flaming metro-sexual, rather comfortable and as if i was watching a late night comedy show. Eased my apprehensions and specifically my consultant Raquel made me feel like a woman.. I mean Man. Overall, first time experience with lasers outside of StarWars. I couldn't disagree more with Miss "Rusty Purple". I have had several Vela Shape treatments and not one last less then 45 mins and never was I burnt. I did follow all of the direction that where given to me so maybe that is why. From all of the research I have done on Vela Shape is if a person doesn't diet and exercise along with it you will not get as good of a result. The office staff is very friendly the doctor is a little loud but nothing to complain about and has always been very respectful with all my treatments. The office is clean and beautiful. Everyone there was very friendly. I got the Velashape treatment and loved the results. My areas firmed up and I go back to this day. Also I have got a facial peal as well and my skin looked great a few days after. The cost was reasonable and the staff knows what they are doing. I would recommend this to my family and friends.
