TERRIBLE. i went here with my mom to go abd get acrylics, the nails are.. okay? BUT WHAT SHE TALKS ABOUT. i thought it was going to be okay at first, then she started getting very "christian" too much.. she started talking about how if you got a covid test, your brain connects to 5 g and the devil has control of you, she has multiple notebooks and kept pulling them out to talk about how trump is connected to the devil and how the world is gonna end and just it was crazy, she doesnt beleive in covid either.. its also very unsanitary.. AND she said she had been doing this for years but it looks like i did it myself.. i wont EVER come back here with the unsanitary and all of her conspiracy theries its just too much.. I came to this salon through Groupon, and was pretty disappointed. First of all, the instruments, towels, and supplies were all dirty. The towels had been used with the client who was in before me, the buffing boards were very old. The nail polishes were all very old and a bit crusty, Pamela had to add remover to one before she could use it. If I had been paying full price, I would have left. She also cut me at one point, and when I got home, I noticed that there was a bit of nail polish on my fingers surrounding my nails. Also, Pamela spent the first 15 minutes overwhelming me with conspiracy theories, like that the government in sending secret missiles to attack California, or that Ebola was invented in a lab and tested on Africa. Insane. When I disagreed, she stopped talking all together. I spent the next hour in terse silence. I tried several times to start a conversation, asking about her kids or holiday plans, but was met with one word answers. At one point, Pamela actually put headphones in. I don't normally do reviews on small businesses because I understand how harmful it could be to someone's income however this one had to be the exception. Pamela was kind and I could tell running a business alone was rough but there's just some things that are unacceptable. I had gotten a Groupon for shellac manicure & pedicure so I know I couldn't complain much for the price but I still expect customer service to be the same. As soon as i walked in the place, the building smelled like cats-no shade to people who have them, I just wouldn't expect a nail salon to smell like one. She didn't have the color I wanted which again, no big deal because I figured she may not have a lot of people who get it. During the pedicure, majority of the time was her spent texting on her phone. Her utensils weren't sterilized and if they were cleaned regularly I wasn't able to tell where at in the space she had in the back. The nail job came out decent aside from left over polish I saw on the side of my toes. She was quite rough though and didn't let up as I said something. On to the manicure-again I didn't see any sterilized utensils or a machine so it solidified my earlier observation from the manicure. She was rough again with my fingers and didn't take the delicacy I expected with a manicure. I was trying to give her grace on it because she may have had a rough day or busy day but then the shellac polish came-and I didn't like it. They're bumpy, rushed, and she didn't really take time to make sure all of my nails were even. Although I'm naturally analytical, there's no reason an extra 5 minutes couldn't of been taken to make sure they looked good. She also never really asked if I liked them, just told me I was done. Very dirty, cluttered and awkward all the way around. She did my nails super basic and I asked if she could paint my 5year old daughter's nails because she wanted to match me. $10 for just painting some tiny little fingers. There is multiple signs around the place reminding you to tip. She herself is strange. Let me start by saying I've visited many nail salons in Tulsa in search of nail tech and I really like Pam! I'm not looking for 20 pedicure seats and 10 nail stations with unfriendly people rushing me along never engaging in real conversation so when I visited Pam for the 1st Time via Groupon and I will be honest we had some hiccups due to my bad scheduling and I was unable to get all of my services but she allowed me to come back and I've been hooked ever since. I love her pedicures and my toes last over a month! She a large verity of products all of which are the same as the more "posh" salons but I'm not looking for a bunch of unnecessary frills I just need a good pedicure soft feet great manicure and to keep my natural nails growing long and strong! read more

I walked in to her salon and noticed immediately that it was dirty and the carpet looked as if it was 20 years old and never cleaned. Gnats were flying around the whole time and she never even acknowledged it. She spend the first 20 minutes texting and that bothered me somewhat. I went here because I had a groupon and oh man was that a mistake. She took forever with her client before me in her salon that pretty much looks like she lives in it. Filled with junk. she proceeded to tell me how the world was going to end and about her beauty queen days...so strange. I bought the Shellac Mani w/ regular Pedi Groupon. I went in with pretty good expectations. She seemed like she had been practicing awhile, and I was genuinely excited to go see her. When I walked in, I was greeted by heat, chaos, and then I noticed she was on the left, working on her computer. She looked up a few seconds later. Not the best first impression, but I was still optimistic. After we chose colors, she took me to the back where the pedicure station was. Everything seemed fine, but I was under the impression I would be getting a full service pedicure. My feet were soaked in water, then she picked my cuticles (no product was put on them to soften them up first, so a lot of them bled). Then she put some lotion stuff on that got dead skin off. When she was done with each foot, she just shook the dead skin from the towel into the garbage, and proceeded to use the same towel for my other foot (where I could clearly see the dead skin that was left over from the "shake". She rubbed my foot with the callus remover, but she didn't do my toes. Then she put some lotion on each foot and gave a massage for about 15-20 seconds. And that was it. And throughout the whole pedicure, she held my feet so awkwardly, so that I had to hold them up. Not very relaxing. The paint job she did on my toes was mediocre. Not horrible. Not great. Now onto the manicure. Again, my cuticles were soaked in water and something bubbly, but they weren't softened by the time she started ripping them off. I'm not nice to my cuticles myself, but I do expect my manicurist to be. All of the tools she used were very old. I could see the leftovers on the towels that she must've used from previous customers. She proceeded to do my shellac. She didn't do a bad job. Again, not great, but not bad. But after she was done with painting my nails she said I was done. There was no lotion, no hand massage, nothing. I left very unimpressed. Like I wasted my money. Even though it was already discounted from Groupon. I'm not sure if I received worse service because of my groupon purchase, but I was very disenchanted. I was under the impression that the appointment would be 1.5 hours, and by the time we got started and finished, it was maybe an hour. I will not be going back. This is the worst mani/pedi I've ever received (and it's not the cheapest I've had). read more

It was kind of run down. Very cluttered and dirty. There were even flies buzzing around. I almost left but I decided to wait it out. She was with another customer and I had to wait over my scheduled time. The manicure was decent but the shellac is chipping off less than a week later so I'm going to have to pay to get them fixed. I'll start by saying Yelp made me give one star before I could review. I didn't have plans to give ANY. Full disclosure, I bought 2 shellac manicures from Groupon. I'm new to Tulsa and finding a good nail spot can get expensive. So, discounts....yes please. I'm not sure if I should begin by telling you how filthy this place was or how terrible the quality was. I'm hoping BOTH curb you from wasting your time and money. Her website looks like webpages made in the early 90's, but she has online self scheduling (yay- with heavily laid sarcasm). Along with a host of rules, she details her highlights. I thought it felt very beauty pageant like. As she stands there twirling and showing off to the judges, an enthusiastic commentator drones on about her attributes. In true pageant form, it's a little truth inflated with a lot of fluff to make oneself more appealing. She notes that she's been doing nails for 23 years. Wow, 23 years of giving customers like me piss poor quality. Her money obviously doesn't get put into her salon either. It's just clicks shy of going into your great grandmas house. You know, the house where you have to move things for a place to sit and you bob and weave through clutter and glance around finding dust built up on things that have probably sat for years. Yep, welcome to Pamela's Boutique. Her website noted that she "doesn't tear up or thin out nails". I guess that would be great if she didn't trade it off for nicking every cuticle and making you bleed. I've been a nurse for 12 years and I don't think I've ever made patients bleed as much as she did me. Nobody usually rushes home after a manicure and soaks their fingers in peroxide. Oh, but I did. I'm quite sure my risk for infection was about 100% provided the nasty environment she calls a "boutique". Let's talk paint. I have a 10 year old niece and when she was younger, she wanted to give you a makeover. This was hair, makeup, nails etc. Looking back, I can recall a few "manicures" I received from my then 4-6 year old niece that were much neater than what I received. In fact, I probably should go to my niece who is only 10 and see if she can fix the poor work of Pam. Supposedly her customers walk out "feeling like a friend and not a number". I have no clue what standards she has for friendship, but the circle MUST be pretty damn small. Hell, I pulled a number at the Social Security office for a name change back in February and in comparison, I felt better about myself walking out of the social security office than I did her boutique. I mean, we expect the government entities to treat us kinda crappy, but not a salon owner hoping to gain repeat business. So, I'm wearing part of the shade I came in with because she half ass took it off and a new shade of almost nothing. Find yourself a blind person or toddler and get your manicure from them. You'll be better off. I absolutely won't be using my second manicure unless the department of health needs more photos of her disgusting shop from a customers point of view. So why stay and receive services when I wasn't happy with the cleanliness? I don't know, I guess the same reason we over look it in some fast food spots when we are hungry, already paid and don't have time to go someplace else. They really are one in the same. This is the worst shellac manicure I have ever had. There is polish on my cuticles and on my skin. The polish did not even reach the ends of my tips and they've already chipped after 1 week. My 97 yr. old mother was given a groupon for a mani-pedi to try to lift her spirits after losing my dad. I called Pam and she could not have been more accommodating - We scheduled a good time, she even helped my mom getting in and out of the studio on her walker. The experience was professional with a warm loving atmosphere. I wish this could have negative stars. I arrived a few minutes before my 10:00 appt. if ally called her at 10:10. She answered and said she was on her way and sounded agitated that I called. I almost left and should have. She arrived grabbed all her stuff from her car except for a dog that she left I the car....really, bad pet owner. Once inside the small area there was no air and it was hot. She opened the front door for some air. She told me to sit and proceeded to set up her laptop, check some text on he phone and set up some nail tools that had not been cleaned. She then got on Facebook on her laptop. I told her not to use the dirty tools on me. I filed my own nails and let her put shellac on them. As she was finishing she took the towel my hands her on and killed a roach.
