The staff is very rude. I walk in and the place was empty. There was only one person who spoke English, which is totally fine except she was the rude one. After she could tell that I understood some Vietnamese, she then proceeded to be even more rude. even spraying me with water as I was about to leave laughing with no apology (while making the other workers clean it up). I decided to try Pamper Me Nail Salon because I was looking for a new nail tech. The Pros: The staff was pretty nice. The Cons: I changed seats 3 times while they worked on my nails so I was a little annoyed. They gave me a palette with the ugliest nail polish colors I've ever seen. I decided to try a matte color (I usually go for very decorated nails but today I just wanted to get out of there). He polished my nails and I'm not sure if the polish was old but it started making bubbles throughout the nail so he took it off and re-polished. I paid $120 for a nail fill and my husband got a pedicure, plus $20 tip ($10 each). By the time I got home the nail polish was already chipping. My husband told me to go back and have them fix it but I didn't. I was so disappointed with the service, I won't be going back or recommending this place to anyone. read more

Terrible salon! I won't be returning after a disaster of a service I received today. Left with nothing on my nails, and was charged $50. Owner said she could do a design I requested, tried to do it and didn't look anything like the inspiration picture I had originally showed her. She freaked out, started yelling at me and then proceeded to take off all my nails for her mistake. I've had some meh dip manicures and salon experiences but this particular one was by far my worst... Instead of removing my current dip "polish" with a soak and or dremel, the technician used an acrylic nail extension/tip. I immediately questioned this process and was told "it's much faster" and "I'll stop if it hurts". The tech slid the extension in between my nail and dip polish where it was lifting away from the nail...it was not pleasant. It put a lot of pressure on my nail bed and pulled off a thin layer of my nail in some areas. The dip job was also a mess. The tech got glitter pieces on my solid nails and even lost track of the number of layers she was doing and of what on multiple different occasions. When it came time for the top coat, there were multiple attempts to talk me into gel (I know a gel top coat is common) when I was very specific on multiple occasions about all dip/no UV lights. From a far my finished nails don't look bad however up close (zoom in) they look like they've been scratched with steel wool, the layers are uneven, very thin and one nail even had a giant raised glob of clear polish on the top. This was my first and only visit to this particular nail salon. What a waste of time and money...I should have walked out the door and never looked back when they tried to take my old polish off with a fake nail... read more

I almost never leave reviews, especially negative reviews. Because as a small business owner myself I know how a negative review can do so much damage be it warranted or not. However I had to write one for this place. I was in the area last week and walked in for a gel manicure. I have my nails done every 2 weeks so there was no reason for the woman to work so hard on my cuticles and nail beds. It hurt and I told her so several times as well as vocally saying OW! The polish she did is by far the worst I have ever had. It looks wrinkled? A couple days after many of my fingers were sore. I noticed that my thumb was swollen! And really really painful. 8 days after my manicure this is nuts. After messing with it today I realized that she didn't just cut all my cuticles way too short. I have an infection!!! Just thankful I didn't get a pedicure or I'd be in worse shape. DO NOT GO HERE! I almost brought my friends daughter with my that day for her first manicure. This place really is breaking a lot of health standards. 1. They don't use the plastic wrap around the pedicure bowl. 2. They don't wear gloves 3. I did a walk-in and was helped right away, but the issues I had with the place surfaced pretty quickly. My manicurist didn't speak any English and had to have another worker, who was also busy with another customer most of the time, translate for her. When I asked to see the dip powder colors, I picked one from a nice, large selection. Turns out, I was given a selection of gel colors to choose from. I had to pick a different color and the selection for dip powder was much smaller. The manicure experience was not the greatest quality. I always enjoy a little lotion and maybe a quick hand massage, but they avoid those things here. Despite that, it didn't go by very quickly. At least they didn't clip my cuticles. I wish they'd have softened them with some oil and pushed them down, though. The manicure itself was also not great. A better manicure would have a thinner coat of dip powder. The attention to detail on where the nails end on each edge was lacking. The excessive use of top coat lead to a little bit of peeling on my thumbs, which was really disappointing. When I paid at the end, they were confused about the price and gave me back incorrect change at first. All I wanted was to fix some broken and chipped nails before a job interview! This was unnecessarily difficult for a mediocre end result. The place seems clean and no one is rude but there are much better businesses around. read more

I'm disappointed in my experience here. I came here after work because it was close to me. I needed a pedi because I am going to try on wedding dresses tomorrow. Their pedis are over priced for one. They're customer service could definitely use some improvement as well. I sat to start my pedi and the lady dug into my big toe. She went in and she was very hurried and very rough. Upon arriving to Beverly Nails, I wasn't sure if I was walking into a nail place or a strip club. The women working here are SO unprofessionally dressed, had no manners, and barely know how to do nails. When I'm getting my toes done, I really don't care to see your full breasts or see how lacy your bra is, and they should close their legs when wearing dresses. Have some class or at least some decency. Granted, I did leave with my nails done and ready for Valentine's Day. But the process of getting my nails done almost made me want to never get them done again. I was wincing the entire time from how rough they were with my feet/ hands. And she charged me $10 for two tiny crappy hearts on my thumb. I even had someone ask me why I got 'an outline of a circle' on my nail... Terrible...just terrible. Service was terrible. Nail tech's work was terrible. I got my nails done around 3pm this evening and already have the color peeling from my nails. AND I GOT A GEL TOP COAT! On top of that, the nail tech proceeded to disregard my comments on things that did not look right while doing the nail job. Shape, color, length etc. After going back and forth with the nail tech, I left after all was done. I was not satisfied especially when I seen the color peeling 3 HOURS later. So walked back in after work, same day and was greeted by the same nail tech in which had a nasty attitude and refused to touch up my three nails that had color peeling off. I went in yesterday for my first time with a friend. We both had long weeks and needed some pampering, plus I've never had a pedicure before. The place looked clean and welcomed us even though we didn't have appointments. Once they sat us down into the chairs is when the problems began. I let the lady know it was my first time getting a pedicure so my feet are sensitive. She nodded and began talking her native language to the other girl taking care of my friend. I find that to be a little disrespectful. While she was filing my nails a customer came out from the waxing room very irate yelling at the tech who waxed her, during the commosion my tech kept filing on one of my nails until it bled even though I kept jerking my foot back to prevent it from happening. She finally got the hint and said "oh it hurt", then proceeded to spray rubbing alcohol on it! It burned, for a little, but it burned! I was shocked and just asked her to please take it easy on my feet. I wasn't about to create a scene too and I really just wanted to relax so I bared with the tingly pain. The massage was great as was the hot stone treatment. The nail polish I'm not too happy about. I already have a chip on one nail. She was polite, quick and allowed me to focus on work I was doing on my phone. She made sure she understood what I wanted and did a really great job. The salon was clean, there are lots of chairs available and they are fast. But if you're worried about it being busy, come early in the morning or make an appointment. This salon is so hit and miss but lately it is just going downhill. The prices are reasonable for all the services they offer...IF you get good service. It is sometimes very busy but they are typically really good about getting people in and out of there. Maybe to a fault. The things I am not thrilled with: The quality of the nail polish- the last few times I was there a good portion of the polish was very think and the rest had been clearly thinned down. To me, that is just being cheap. You are a nail salon- have decent polish! I brought my niece here to treat her to a pedicure and her polish came completely off the next day. We were not doing anything extravagant- just some shopping- and I looked down and noticed on over half her toes the polish was missing. We looked closely at one of the nails that still had polish and it was all pulling up. My polish was completely chipped. Some of the chairs are broken and have been for awhile. The techs dress very provocatively. I am not a super conservative person, especially in this Arizona heat- but when I can see all your goods- Im not a fan. I don't care how cute your figure may be, nobody needs to see your ass cheeks hanging out. The Vietnamese. I get it. It is very nice to speak in your native language. But it is very rude. Maybe it is a cultural thing? Maybe they are just talking trash about their customers? Regardless, it irritates me. I also don't like that nobody ever introduces themselves or wears a name tag. All-in-all this salon has all the makings of being a fantastic and very lucrative nail salon. But they have got to quit being cheap with the polishes and broken chairs. This certainly wasn't the worst experience, but wanted to share with Yelp users as there are many more nail salons in the area that do a better job. The staff wasn't extremely friendly or welcoming. The only time anyone talked to me was to ask what I was there for and command me to "pick a color." The girls talked to each other the whole time, rather loudly, but not the customers. The girl did a good job with cleaning my feet up, slightly rough but ultimately a good job. It was a long massage which is ideal to me but didn't use pressure at all so that was a let down. A young girl sat and waited to get her nails done the entire time I was getting a pedi and there were two other women there. There were only three of us customers in the salon. I felt bad and she patiently waited for the woman with the other customer to finish while the other two ladies sat around, laughed, ate, etc Again, not an awful experience, but with all of the salons in the valley, I won't return to this one. I think their prices are kinda high and that's me coming from Costa Mesa California. $72 for a pedicure and a fill. $32 for the mid grade pedicure and $10 for the special nail polish they keep in the back. But the problem was the fill. It is suppose to be $17.00 But Tom charged me an extra $10.00 for the "special" gel white polish without asking me if I wanted to pay more. The regular white would have been fine. Then he proceeds to tell me "that it will last longer". Anyone that gets their nails done knows that the Gel top coat is used to keep the polish longer. So the White polish for a extra $10.00 wasn't needed. Then they charge me $3.00 more for the design of the white tip. Which wasn't a design it's a French Tip. Will not be back. People always want a Nordstrom experience for a K-Mart price. I have been going to this salon for at least 6 months and the reason I go back is because I get what I TELL THEM I want and the price is right. I don't go for luxurious atmosphere (even though I find the salon to be as clean or cleaner than many others I've been to) or unlimited polish colors (they have hundreds of colors as it is #bringyourowncolor). If you want that, go to a fancy Scottsdale salon about 5 minutes west and pay $35 for a fill while you look at glorious artwork and listen to Moby in the chamomile & cucumber scented atmosphere. Then try telling THEM you don't like how they are performing the service. I go to the same tech every time so that she gets to know me and my preferences. Going back to the same person helps overcome language barriers, which are tough to deal with #putyourselfintheirshoes. I like my acrylic nails short, square-round, and thin; Lindsey knows it and that's what I get - for a great price. Did she know that the first fill? No, I had to explain it. That's not unreasonable. Last straw for me! I've been coming to this place for years and I loved the previous owners. There was a noticeable change when the place changed hands, but I continued to come here because it was close to home and conveniently located near other stores where I often shop. That being said, it hasn't been a great experience most the time. I have vowed not to return on several occasions. There is one technician who is obviously not thrilled with her job. She always rushes through my manicures. And I can't even tell you how many times I've watched her answer her cell phone and YELL and CUSS at whoever is on the other end.....in the middle of doing someone's nails!! She's done this to me...using both her hands to paint my nails, using her shoulder to hold her phone to her ear and screaming and cussing into the phone, but also screaming into my face since I'm sitting across from her. I guess the only reason I put up with it is because it's a hassle to go somewhere else further away. But this last visit was the last straw!! I went in for a pedicure on Aug. 9th. (Today is the 25th, so it's been 16 days) The tech, who I had never seen before, cut me a few times while cutting back my cuticle on my toes. This is not a big deal...it happens from time to time. The problem doesn't come til she puts her gloves on and starts applying the callous remover gel. She puts it all over the bottom of my feet BUT THEN PUTS IT ON TOP AND ALL OVER THE TOP OF MY TOES!! By the time she's got it slathered on top of all my toes it's starting to burn more and more. I told her it's burning and she just nodded and said, "Almost. Almost." She got out a file/grater thing and scrubbed the bottom of my feet and used a loofah thing on top of my toes. By this time I was in real pain. I said, "It's really burning bad." She finally put my feet into the water and I was rubbing my feet together to try to get all the gel stuff off. Long story short...it burned and was painful all night. We were catching a flight that night or I would've went back and complained. I had to spend my entire vacation with red, puffy, infected toes. And one place on the inside of my foot was eaten away from the callous remover and it became very infected too. I'm posting pics of a few of the effected areas as they look today. Keep in mind, it's been 16 days. I should've taken pics of what they looked like 2 weeks ago, but I was on vacation and busy doing other things...like finding ways of hiding my hideous infected toes. read more

So crazy how diverse the reviews are! I don't understand why people don't express to the technicians if they want something different done or don't like what they're doing wether it be a manicure or pedicure. They're Your nails. Don't think it's fair to Not to speak up and then turn around and give an unsatisfactory review..really? I've been here twice and it's been great both times. Got my nails done the first time- awesome job- told her exactly what I wanted and it came out great. Got a pedicure the 2nd time and got the middle package (sea salt scrub with callus remover) and it was very relaxing. I work constantly so this was a nice break from my hectic schedule. They're tucked away and hidden from the road so you need to do a little investigating to find them. Both times I've been a walk-in and was seated right away.
