By being able to trade in clothes and gear that they have grown out of and being able to buy already discounted clothes with the credit, it really helps stretch that dollar a long way. I know some have commented that the pricing can sometimes be comparable to other national chains but what they don't seem to take into account is the fact that you are able to trade in and get store credit (often on items you purchased from them) so when you net it out, you are way better off and you are supporting a local, woman owned and operated small business.

She also said that they needed to be washed which they were they smelt like fresh laundry detergent but because they had a few wrinkles from being in the bags she also refused to take them and judged that they weren't washed based off the fact that there was a few wrinkles. Not to mention I had stuff in season that they would've accepted but since my bags got turned down for a wrinkle and a Christmas PJ they never got to discover that. I also want to point out that she then continue to shame me like she was better than me on how to return with my three bags of clothes folded in nice tote bags because they were in trash bags. I'm not sure how this place is even still open.. never coming back- go to once upon a child! Way better & they never complicate things and have amazing staff! They also don't over charge their clothing. Edit in response to the owner. These clothes weren't kept in a home with Cats, but we got them from a family who has a dog. I packed the clothes in the bag and there way maybe 4 items with dog hair on it literally I could've picked off and brought back 5 minutes later. My items were WASHED AND CLEAN. Your store is a scam and your employees are demeaning and I stand by that. I've actually heard this from multiple people in the area before I went to you guys and now the bad reviews check out. I also had 1 pair of Christmas pjs in there so that wasn't the point of why I said that. My point is that my clothes that were washed and in perfect condition were turned down because of 5 dog hairs and Christmas pjs. Also to not take any accountability as a business owner is really disappointing. I called before hand to make sure he could come in a donate under my account and after even doing that he was told for future reference he had to come at 10 for donations- you guys open at 9:30 and it was 9:50. He walked in to donate clothes and walked out not wanting to ever come back due to your demeaning employee. Also for anyone reading this and got this far. I don't ever write reviews, this is my first review and I've had this account 10 years. it takes me a lot to write a review so that just shows in itself how bad my experiences have been.

I popped my head inside and quickly realized this was my type of store. Cute clothes, jewelry and accessories. Walking around I saw several cute pieces of clothing and they had this super cute/simple one sleeve sweatshirt and honestly, I would have liked it more if it didn't have Madeira Beach written on it. Nothing again Madeira but as a local I wouldn't wear something with a local city/town on it around here, maybe if I was off on vacation but still doubtful. They reeled me in when I got to the jewelry area, especially the rings. Several were cute and it was difficult for me to pick. They are reasonably priced at $12 each of 2 for $20. I went for the deal and picked out a gold and a silver ring. As I was walking out, I noticed some earrings that I didn't see before that were super cute but I was being good and didn't buy them. I have more earrings than one person could ever need. While I was still in the area, I decided to take a look at the rings that I bought and put one on since I didn't wear any out that day. I immediately ripped off the tag and then realized that I accidently gave the employee the wrong ring. I had read another review on their return policy so figured I was stuck with my 2nd option, but I did decide I would pop in and see if they would exchange them, even with the tag off or if I would just have to buy the other ring (it was the one I wanted the most). The employees greet me again with a smile and said "back again huh" jokingly. When I explained what I did they just said grab another and only confirmed the size so they could put on the proper tag to sell again. This is a store I will check out each time I am at John's Pass to see what new stuff they got.

The GOOD: The Publix here is one of the best in our area. A former Albertsons, then a Safeway, it is very large and managed well. The Target is OK, but often jam-packed. I prefer the quieter shopping experience at the other store on Park street. The Petsmart is great and the service is always friendly. The staff at the Michael's location here are always very helpful. I find the Labcorp location to be the best and most efficient that I have ever visited. Smiley Thai is one of the best kept Thai take-out "secrets" in our area! The BAD: There is a significant amount of "bad characters" that often congregate here, especially after dark. Unfortunately, this appears to be more common when there is a major "bus hub" in the area, like the one just south of Target. There always seems to be a small group of them loitering just south of the Publix, hoping that I have spare wealth to gladly and willingly give away for unknown reasons. My apologies, but I am on a strict budget. Don't ever fall in love with a smaller store here. They come and go often. The turnover rate is quite high. I miss that "Bulk Nation" location! They used to have my favorite movie theater here, but I have not been to any since 2013. People constantly checking their cell phones every 5 minutes ruined the experience for me, forever.
