I have no idea how I had not been in Sand & Soul before, I just happened to park in front of them during my latest trip to John's Pass. I popped my head inside and quickly realized this was my type of store. Cute clothes, jewelry and accessories. Walking around I saw several cute pieces of clothing and they had this super cute/simple one sleeve sweatshirt and honestly, I would have liked it more if it didn't have Madeira Beach written on it. Nothing again Madeira but as a local I wouldn't wear something with a local city/town on it around here, maybe if I was off on vacation but still doubtful. They reeled me in when I got to the jewelry area, especially the rings. Several were cute and it was difficult for me to pick. They are reasonably priced at $12 each of 2 for $20. I went for the deal and picked out a gold and a silver ring. As I was walking out, I noticed some earrings that I didn't see before that were super cute but I was being good and didn't buy them. I have more earrings than one person could ever need. While I was still in the area, I decided to take a look at the rings that I bought and put one on since I didn't wear any out that day. I immediately ripped off the tag and then realized that I accidently gave the employee the wrong ring. I had read another review on their return policy so figured I was stuck with my 2nd option, but I did decide I would pop in and see if they would exchange them, even with the tag off or if I would just have to buy the other ring (it was the one I wanted the most). The employees greet me again with a smile and said "back again huh" jokingly. When I explained what I did they just said grab another and only confirmed the size so they could put on the proper tag to sell again. Chase and Linda were amazing. I needed new sandals and they were both extremely helpful. They tag teamed as the store got busier but I never felt neglected. As for the store itself... very welcoming. Prices were lower than I expected for a tourist area. Such an AMAZING experience!! read more

Remember when there were events to go to? Restaurants to be seen at? Reasons to look and feel cute in general? I miss those days. Mostly I miss shopping for those days. I didn't realize how much I missed shopping until I accidentally found myself shopping at Sand & Soul in John's Pass. YOU GUYS. Y'ALL. LISTEN. UP. This is not a tourist trap. This is a fabulous boutique. (Boutique almost implies that this is a small shop, it is not, it is big, there is variety, there is even a kid's section.) I do not know who owns or curates this store but I would love to meet them. I believe we would be best friends! Everything is wicked cute, trendy yet somehow super unique and maybe even timeless? I want to purchase everything. They're fitting rooms are open right now and the store is spacious. I felt completely safe during these pandemic times. And even was able to enjoy the delights of exceptional customer service. They allowed me to hold my selections up front while I continued to browse. That last minute perusal through the sale rack is a must! The prices range, I find most items to be stay around a standard $50. The brands they carry seem to mostly be available in just Small, Medium, Large. This is not ideal, yet that's shade to the brands not the store. I have never so badly wanted to post a mirror pic to the internet. I am obsessed with one of the dresses I purchased. I will hold off though, mostly because I don't want my husband to see it until I get the chance to wear it. Because yes, I fell in love with a dress enough to MAKE a reason to purchase it. And that reason is Valentine's Day. I hope my husband thinks I am utterly adorable, maybe even enough to offer to take an Instagram picture that I can attach to this review then. read more

Kind of a bait and switch. Wanted to buy some swim trucks found a pair I liked. Cost was labeled $40 US ; $45 CAD. I'm paying US dollars and it scanned out at $45. They would not adjust the price as labeled. Screw them, there are other places to get board shorts. Aholes read more

RUDE! Buyer Beware! No Returns No Refunds!!! No matter what. I bought over $240 worth of clothes and an $88 XXL shirt didn't fit my husband. I brought the shirt back with tags and the receipt and the manager KIRSTEN laughed at me and said no stores in Madeira Beach offer refunds. Lost a good customer. Poor businesses reflect badly on the entire community. We Will never be back. read more
