Major props to Andrew!! He really worked with us and taught us the proper at home care/brushing techniques between grooming. I've never had a dog that needed professional grooming before so it was a learning curve. I really appreciate him going the extra mile to ensure we were educated and pleased. I appreciate their kindness and patience but most of all their care for my dog! When I called to set up the appointment Brad recognized my dogs name and responded "oh, the mini horse?" . We bring him here between haircuts to get his nails trimmed and ears cleaned but I was still surprised he had immediately remembered Bradshaw. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Sent my Moyen poodle here two weeks ago to get a simple trim- they never called regarding ear plucking and went ahead and plucked his ears- he came home bleeding and there's still crust in his ears- I have to bring him into the vet tomorrow because of how uncomfortable he is. He stopped eating as well because of this. Not to mention this was the most unreasonably priced place I've ever been to. Nothing special about the cut they did on my boy but charged the most I've paid. Hopefully he doesn't have bilateral ear infections. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. read more

Went there a couple times for nail trim for my dog. Service and quality was OK. Since they are close, I went back. I've been trying to get my dog in for a nail trim for a couple weeks now - calling at least once a week seeking an appointment but they don't answer the phone and do not call back. Each time I call, I leave a message on their voice mail but they don't call back so I can't make an appointment. They don't have online appointments either. I recommend The Pampered Pooch Pet Resort or Dippity Do Dog instead. Two businesses who seem to care about business. read more

I've been taking Gus to Pawsitively Purrfect for over 3 1/2 years now. I moved out of the Lenox Village area in December 2021 and will continue to make the 30 minute drive there. I took my Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier puppy here for her first grooming at 6 months because it seemed to have good reviews and was so close to my house (it was also my first time taking a dog to a groomer). When I came to pick her up she was waiting in a kennel, which I'm not okay with in the first place but despite her new fluffy haircut, she was so scared to be in their salon. I've never seen her behave like that with any other groomer after. But in addition to leaving their salon traumatized, she ended up getting a severe ear infection because of the way they had bathed her/cleaned her ears. It was nice of the owner to compensate me for her vet bills but it doesn't change the fact that it ruined her first time at a dog groomer and left her in a lot of pain. I would give them 10 stars if yelp would let me! My husband and I normally groom our dogs ourselves, but with a recent surgery I've been unable to do it. Because I absolutely hate taking my babies somewhere and them sitting in a cage for the better part of the day, I started researching mobile groomers. I called Pawsitively Purrfect and they were available about a week and a half to two weeks out. I completely see why and fully anticipate the next time I call to do so a month ahead! Because these girls are GOOD!!!! They come to your house (and it wasn't an extra charge to come to my location which is in the Woodbine/Melrose area) and since I have three dogs, they take them one at a time. To do two full grooms and one furminator bath it took them only two hours. And my babies have never looked cuter and they were so much more comfortable than I've seen them at other places!!! Their prices are a steal when they come to you AND give your furchildren the best groom they've ever had. I will still bathe them in between haircuts, but we have found a permanent groomer! One of my babies is especially skittish and she did wonderfully with them. These guys are the best groomers in Nashville! read more
