Reasonable prices, friendly staff the first time around. The second time I went to pick up our dog, she left with kennel cough. She was miserable and we needed to go to the vet.I called to let them know and they basically told me not to bring in a sick dog. Why would I knowingly board my dog with kennel cough? I repeated that I was calling to inform them that one of the other dogs had given it to her and to look into it. They treated it passively and unapologetic. We will not be going back.

The updates with a photos at each visit are appreciated so I know exactly when they were there and how it went. My cats (both from shelters) can be a bit challenging, and they were fed, freshly watered, given treats, litter cleaned, played with and affectionately petted. They've been able to adapt to new instructions about kitty care between visits. They worked with me a few times about my keys - home security is important! The payment software doesn't allow for tips so I'm not sure what the dog owners are doing or what's expected? Overall, the updates come from people who love what they do, reassurance when I'm away and miss my kitty!

We were driving up from Chicago, we had previous reservations at a boarding facility near home, but decided to bring them along for the car ride and try out Pampered Paws. Wow - so impressed! Hard pressed to find a place even similar to the space and daycare that is offered here versus our handful of places towards the city. Our two dogs were there for 2 nights and slept the entire way home afterwards - you could tell they loved it! The report card stated exactly what we would have figured (one pup being so energetic and the other being ADDICTED to human love haha!). We will be recommending to everyone near and far if they are planning on heading towards the Dells! Looking forward to our next trip that way so Winnie & Wilson can hang with the crew again! I knew from the moment I dropped them off that they would be pampered and basically "baby sat" while I was away. My mind was at ease. The kennels were clean and Jen and Lilly were friendly and knowledgeable. I liked too that the dogs had a way to go in and out to a fenced area when they wanted. I really liked too that Evergreen was not some huge commercial kennel where I had to worry about interactions with other strange dogs while I was away. To the contrary, it was instead this quaint clean friendly place where my dogs would have individual attention and play time as well supervised walks in their beautiful wooded setting. While the setting and property is remote, it's only a few minutes off of I-39 so it is convenient too!

We were welcomed with a personal visit from an instructor who introduced herself and wanted to get to know our dog a little better. Our puppy took a liking to her while she explained to us in detail how the boarding service would work. She provided us with a list of items she needed in order to make our puppy's stay enjoyable for him: Food, any medical services he needed while he was away, personal clothing, toys, etc. Ruff pups sent daily pictures and video of our puppy to let us know he was okay. He also played with the other dogs in the area and was under constant supervision. I will very likely be using their services in the future. Why wouldn't they question her condition? Instead they attacked on Google Review saying we were looking for them to pat the vet bill. I want nothing from this company other then to protect other pups. They said we didn't send someone to see her. Why would we when they said she had a "small hot spot?" Honestly prevails always and that's all we needed. Our pup has gone through surgery now, on 3 antibiotics, and prayers she survives. Please use caution if you use this company.
