I have been taking my dog a yorkie to this groomer for many years. I usually get his hair cut 2…read moretimes a year. Just before fall and just before summer. When I called to make his before winter cut I was questioned about his age, his health and was told it would be a long wait because I wanted a particular groomer to groom him. I wanted the owner. I was told by the owner he hadn't been in for 2 years I corrected her and said he was there in January 2025 and was cut in the face like a lion. After about 5 minutes of her page turning she gave me a date to bring him in. I said ok. But over night I thought about how I was treat as a customer who has been coming there for at least 10 years and I was feeling uncomfortable. I canceled the appointment. I no longer trust them with my fur baby. They do a good job grooming however the customer service I received left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be returning to this groomer after 10 years. It's very upsetting because I now have to find a new groomer. People of color beware!

Sweet, even tempered, usually calm and obedient, fairly quiet, smart as a whip, and full of funny quirks. But...she turns into a melting mess of drama when you say "bath" or "brush." While she knows the commands "stand" and "be still" (and even obeys them, so some extent), she stares at me with woeful, accusing eyes any time the dreaded Brush makes its appearance. Every few seconds, she either tries to slink away or flop to the ground in despair. Getting the picture? She's hard to groom. Add in the fact that she categorically refuses to obey commands from strangers, and you have the equivalent of a headstrong toddler rocking the grocery-store tantrum storm of the century. Except with fur. So much fur. But the staff at Susie's aren't fazed. They just buckle down (and probably sprinkle some holy water) and get to work, and no matter how terrible Delta looks at the start, they have always done an AMAZING job with her. I love how friendly the staff are, how clean the salon is, and how patient they must be to deal with brats like our Delta bug, and always with a smile. I've tried a handful of other places around town, and Susie's is head and shoulders above the rest. Five tail wags from Delta, and five stars from me!

I had…read morebeen a little spoiled because my mom is an award-winning back in California and had given my dog all his haircuts, which is also why I support the individually owned groomers rather than the Petsmarts of the world. I was at the grocery store and saw a woman with an adorable toy poodle with a rather fabulous hair cut. I asked her who her groomer was and she enthusiastically recommended Susie's Grooming, saying that she had tried a lot of other places in the area and they had all either nicked her dog with clippers or done a terrible job. I called to make an appointment with Susie's and they were able to squeeze me in the same day. My dog also has a more unique cut called a German Trim, which isn't the standard poodle cut but it wasn't a problem at all. They just had me bring in a photo of the cut I wanted and they were able to make it happen. It's in a strip mall that looks a bit run down but once you get inside the shop is really cute and everyone is really nice. I will definitely be back here!

We got many reminders of our appointment time and were 5 minutes early. They had no previous record of our dog. The groomer was waiting for us. All good. Told 1 1/4 hours. At 1 1/4 later Told they needed 45 more. I asked to use the rest room. I walked past her and she was wet, in a cage and two dogs, that I hadn't seen before, one was on its way out and one was on the grooming table. I should have taken my dog then hindsight! She still had Greek yogurt (don't judge) dried on her face. One eye was well groomed not the other. I can hear her toenails on the floor. I got a discount as an apology for the time. Not going back.

It's like talking to a friend about the services you want done. My Lola is a wild thing. She is a yorkie mix but Tammy did fantastic on her! I loved how it was just Lola in there as she gets to excited around other dogs. The prices are amazing and affordable. Tammy takes the time to tell you everything that's going on. What I loved about it the most she sent me pictures of Lola after her grooming! It's not long before she is ripping off bows off her hair so to get a great picture with her all clean and cute was the icing on the cake for me. Both ears were nicked but this side is the worst! And she didn't even say anything!! If there was something we could sue this woman for, TRUST, she would be receiving legal papers and we'd be trying to shut her down! The hair cut was bad enough but to injure someone's beloved fur baby and NOT say anything is reprehensible and unconscionable! Not to mention unprofessional!
