Yes I was hesitant to try this place based off of the reviews BUT I am happy I gave them a try and will be back. I completed the form online for info but never received a call back (after 3 days) so I called directly. The person that answered was polite, professional and informative. Upon arrival at 10:45am, I completed the forms as a new client, gave specific instructions on the cut I wanted for Aspen as well as provided a pic to the groomer. Upon pick up around 2:30pm, Aspen our 2 yr old Cavapoochon looked amazing and the cut was exactly what I requested. The checkout and payment process was seamless. I would definitely recommend. Areas for improvement: Remove the online inquiry form if staff are unable to respond within 24-48 hrs. Include pricing on website based on dog size and grooming pckg. Implement a text system vs phone call and or both to ensure client receives notification when their dog is ready for pick up so they aren't charged the $30 boarding fee if their dog is not picked up within 45min after grooming session has been completed. read more

My dog had a horrible experience here. Janie cut BOTH of his ears and tried to convince me that his ears aren't cut. However, she told my son to make sure that they don't get infected. She wouldn't take any responsibility for this. Matted or not, she should have been more careful not to cut him. This was our 3rd and last time there. I have been a long time customer of The Pampered Puppy, with several dogs that I have groomed. My first real issue with them came this week. I called and made appointments for my 2 male Maltese and I asked and was quoted my regular price w/gratuity of $46.00 each. $92.00 total. When I picked them up yesterday, I was quoted $50.00 each. With 15% gratuity, $115.00 total. I asked the front desk person if the price went up. She says yeah, I guess so. I sent a message to the owner per Facebook telling her that I had issues about the change in price, with no contact. She said my dogs may have had fleas. They don't. Or mats. No more than usual. She had no intention of honoring the price that I was given for service. Make sure that the price that you are quoted doesn't arbitrarily change after 3 days. read more

My girlfriend and I have been dying our dog ourselves and finally decided to look into getting our dog groomed and dyed for the holidays all for it to become an nightmare. After searching and coming across Pampered puppy we took out 1 year old toy poodle in to be serviced. Specifically stating what we would like done. We requested two different colors (blue and orange) low hair cut on his body and a poodle teddy bear face cut, even showed a picture of what we would like. Only to pick him up and see him looking like someone was practicing color on him. Color all on his snout and butt. Very disappointing. After settling for the poor service and leaving we returned home where the dye would now become a part of our decor. Blue and orange everywhere like he was spray painted.. semi-permanent dye should NOT bleed when dry!!!! He was completely dry. Now he had to be crated for the night due to the due ruining furniture. We examined him to find his genitals having redness and irritation. His ears weren't plucked naked as they should be. Between his paws he still had a lot of hair remaining. The dye coming off when he rubbed his eyes caused so much irritation, made his eyes swell and caused redness. All he wanted to do was rub his face all over our carpet from irritation. My girlfriend called to speak to the owner and her response to everything was completely unprofessional and nonchalant, showing no concern to our little fur baby. She stated, "Well you need to speak to the person that groomed your dog. It's like getting your hair dyed and getting in the shower." After we stated HE IS DRY. We couldn't allow him to suffer any longer, we bathed him all for the dye to just rinse off in chunks. This was such an unpleasant experience. Be careful who you trust with your pets. I wouldn't recommend this place if it was the last grooming company available. read more

I took my dog their yesterday and he had a ho experience. First off he looks like a different dog, I understand his fur had to be cut down because some was tangled but she (Brittany) didn't have to cut him down so close to his skin. My dog has a cut on his tail and testicles that's bothering him alot and we put ointment on it. He's also shaking like he cold, nervous and traumatized. Plus he didn't sleep well last night, I was up with him.I don't know what they did to my baby but I will be calling them back today and taking him to his Vet for a check up. read more

Jacqui this one is for you! So I've been a customer with my 5 cocker spaniels with Pampered Puppies previously the past year and throughout it has been a complete horrible experience. Literally I have told "HER" on multiple occasions on how I liked the look of my cock cuts and her reply would be. "This is how everyone else likes their dogs cut." when I would approach her to let her know what my concerns were she would get in a frantic state as if I was being mean to her when all I was doing was directing her on how to cut my dogs, The last time she cut Mr. Redds hair was cut his face was pale and body light brown. This is a note for anyone that truly loves their dogs. Do not let Jacqui cut your dogs. She always has an excuse for something or a reason for something so I'm just decided to continue cutting my own dogs hair. And yes, it does take time but I literally watched a YouTube video which showed me how to properly cut my dogs hair. She should do the same. Everybody shouldn't cut any type of dog there's rules to this. And the crazy part I'm willing to pay whatever price she would have asked if it were done top-tier this is not a top-tier location. This is a $25 haircut if that's what you like then go otherwise go elsewhere pay to get good service that we know we deserve Pampered Puppies again is not where it's at. read more

I have been taking my dogs for grooming here for approximately 8 years and for the most part I've been very much satisfied. I took my two dogs there this past Saturday Feb 17, 2018 and asked them to cut them both low cut as before and when i picked them up they look good except my boy dog was cut quite shorter than the girl. I paid and left a tip as always but when i got home with them my boy dog was scooting and licking himself back in the rectal area. I didn't pay much attention as sometimes he does that when anal glands have been squeezed but he continued for a couple more days until i checked him back there and noticed he had several small cuts on his tail and by his rectal and he had become really red and swollen back there. I called to speak with the groomer (Nicole) and she was quite nasty in speaking to her and she said she used a close blade on him because he was matted. My dog may have had a few matted areas but no severe mats on either one. My male dog was cut to the skin in his rectal area and Nicole is telling me she did not cut him when i have before and after pictures of them both and when trying to explain to her that i have always asked them to not shave neither of them in their rectal area she is not only trying to understand what I'm saying but became defensive and nasty and refused to give me her manager name. I would never ever allow this Nicole to even be in the same room with my dog or cat as she is very inconsiderate of your pet telling me how many years she has been grooming. What, grooming on what. I have had pleasant experiences at pampered puppy before with other groomers but i definitely do not recommend this Nicole and she would not give her last name only stated she is on contract there and she is her own manager. Had to take my dog to my vet and he is now being treated for an infection that developed from the blade cut done to my dog. Think twice before you allow this Nicole to touch your dog. read more

Vent: Tell me what you think I took my baby Bentlei Jace to The Pampered Puppy in Conyers, GA on Main Street yesterday for grooming. I got some extra services done. Regular Grooming along with a 3 for 20.00 Package of a Blueberry Facial, Blueberry Body Scrub and Tooth Brushing. Now mind you I have been with them since like 2013 or 2014. And have ALWAYS received EXCELLENT service. Now when I made the appt they said they could see him at 1. When I called to see if he was ready they said, "Oh we're sorry it's not until two. I was told 1:00 and they said someone wrote it in wrong. So needless to say I let that ride. So then I finally get a call that he's ready. Shortly after that I get a call back from their young new assistant and she strangely ask me can I pay in cash or by check. So I told her I would pay cash. So upon arrival to pick up Bentlei Jace I notice his paws had not been trimmed as requested. So they took him back to do that. When returned to me they said it was the best they could do. And when I paid I gave them a 100.00 bill. They said they didn't have change. So they scramble around for it betseen the two ladies there. They only come up with 5 20's. My amount due was 58.00 normally 38.00 but remember I added a 20.00 package. So the lady holding the 20's says you good with just 40.00? Huh I said? She says, "Were you gonna tip your Groomer?" I was like whatever just give me the 40.00!!!! Smh!!!! And normally I do tip MORE than any 2.00 but that's cause I was ALWAYS getting EXCELLENT service!!!! So my resolve was 2.00 was not gonna hurt me so we leave for home. Once I get home and really check Bentlei Jace out real good I notice his cut and groom is not as good as it ALWAYS is. So when I'm in route to work later that evening I call and leave a message expressing my displeasure for his recent grooming. I receive a call this morning from them telling me to bring him back so they can fix him admitting his groom was not done correctly cause they were trying to train a new groomer. But that I had to get him there asap cause they only have 24hrs to correct any wrongs of the grooming session. If not after that it would be over into a new grooming session and I would have to pay again!!!! Huh....wtw!!?? I make an appt for the time I was available to get him in, they mess up on the grooming but now if I can't get him there I'm penalized for their mess9 up.....REALLY!!?? What kind of FOOLISHNESS is that!!?? So all that being said..... Am I overreacting or should there be a BETTER company policy in place!!?? Am I wrong!!?? P.S. They have gotten where they don't even answet the phone like they used to or return your calls promptly always.... I had to keep calling them to make this last appointment. I will never take my pet to this place again, I do not recommend this service . I spoke with them several times before our first visit and I emphasized I did not want my dog shaved. I know she had some matting but the previous groomer always took the time to cut around and comb these places. At this place it is clear they only care to get the animals in and out the easiest way for them. All they had to do was call me and I would have picked her up. Moved close to the area so I tried this place out after not having a groomer for about 2 months. I just want to say based on the area and the kind of dog you have I see why people will give them 3+ stars. My dog being a Instagram model & a fancy poodle This was the most ugliest and poorest job ever. I showed the person who groomed him what I wanted and the body part she got right but as for the hair on head and face horrible. But as I stated it's hair I can't dwell on that it will grow back but as for this coloring when I tell you horrible job and let me tell you the "owner" tells me it's like you getting in the shower in the red bleeding mind you my dog is not wet so how is that even a comparison? The legs don't match up one leg coloring is higher than the other, the orange looks dirty because the blue bleed into it, his butt is orange his face is blue lol. My house furniture is nude so my dog had to literally get banned from certain spots which he is not use to, you touch his head your hands are blue! "He's fully DRY you guys" it's horrible. The groomer said she will refund me for the coloring fee, which is cool but money don't change everything not in my case, my dog has to walk around like this and Christmas is next week, ridiculous. If you have a full breed poodle you know they grow a lot of hair and their ears and needs to get that all removed. I checked his ears he still has a lot of hair in it. I'm a business women myself I have my own booth rent for what I do, and to all my clients I let them know the ins and outs of what I use when I do what I do. I don't wait until after something is done. But lessoned learned I'm going to take this L. And just continuing to make that long drive back to the city to get this color removed. Had such a good experience here. I was weary about getting my dog groomed since I had a bad experience at pets smart before but I am so glad I did. Janie groomed my dog perfectly, better than I even knew she could look. Tara was very friendly. And the dogs even seemed happy. I love that they let the dogs free roam instead of putting them in cages. My dogs looked like they enjoyed their grooming session, which is unheard of right? well second time in a row just butchered our Pom. first time gouged her in several places and shaved her to cover it up, never should the under coat ever be cut that low, had the most beautiful fur. Was only supposed to get little trim in specific areas for neatness. but after wards fur never did want to grow back right until a year later. Different person tried again, wanted to have hand clipped just the over coat slightly nothing else, but NO, cut her whiskers off, that is a no no! shaved her ears, what the hell is with that! Never never never never again, and getting lawyer seeing if can get some recourse, DO NOT GO TO THESE MANIACS! read more

I witnessed an incident about a week ago that has really bothered me I went in to see about having them start grooming my dog, and while there an older man started yelling at one of the groomers. This older gentleman was a public figure and was slamming his hands down on the counter and would not allow the young lady to speak. Upon listening to all of this turns out he was late. My complaint about this company is that they allowed their employee to be treated like that. If a person who was in the wrong is more welcomed than your own employee that is not a place I would trust my pet with. read more
