Amazing customer service! I am so happy with the results of my eight month GSD's first grooming. I was SO nervous that she wouldn't behave enough for them to wash and brush her, but I was wrong! When I picked Rocki back up, she looked like a brand new dog and I was told that she was very well behaved! I will definitely be back! The very best! At 9 months old my sweet Porty was traumatized during her grooming at Petsmart. I'm not sure what they did to her, but she refused to even go into the store again. I tried other groomers and she was so panicked that she'd always try to run back to the car. I cannot tell you what a difference Cuts for Paws has made! They have earned her and my trust. She is always happy to run inside and say hello! Our little dog, a Bichon, loves them as well. Cuts for Paws even noticed and alerted us to an injury that we hadn't realized existed. I had a very good experience at Cut for Paws. In my times of getting grooming for our Golden Retriever I have had more bad situations than good. One time a different groomer cut our Golden so he looked more like a Lab. However, at Cuts for Paws they listened and gave the dog the best cut he ever had. The receptionist really yelled at me! She said I had a nasty attitude. I won't say I was extremely pleasant, and I'll explain why, but I have never been yelled at for doing what I'm told especially when I'm NOT raising my voice, cussing, or telling her how truly ridiculous I think all this is. I was just obviously irritated which is my right, I'm late for work which is a whole 1.5 hrs after pick up time and you guys didn't feel inclined to let me know something was wrong until multiple missed calls later over an hour past pick up time. So here's more on why I was obviously annoyed but not nearly as inappropriate as this front desk lady yelling at me: Pick up time was 12PM. At 11:50AM, I call to ask how my German Shepherd is doing, no answer, left a voicemail. At 12:30, I call again, no answer. At 1:05 (over an hour past pick up time, they've had her since 9am), Brandy answers (the groomer) telling me she needs yet another 30 minutes because my dog is "snapping her jaws and being aggressive" and that "she can't use [some type of blow dryer] to get the undercoat" which is the whole point of having my dog professionally groomed, to do some deshedding. I say, "we've never had this issue before. I blow dry her at PetSupermarket without problem. I called my other groomer who was just too pricey and they stated they had no unusual experiences with her over the 5+ times she's been in and I can attest that she seems not stressed or anxious to come home when I get her back." Brandy says to me, "well, are you sure they were honest with you?" Uhm, ma'am, I'm not lying about my dog's demeanor... I said, "well, if you need to keep her for 1.5 hrs past pick up due to some issue, I should've been informed of that before pick up or maybe any of the times I've called today. Can y'all keep her until 5 then?" And she says, "no, we can't" and I tell her, "ok, I'll be in shortly to get her then." I work 1:30-5PM today, that's why I assumed when I asked MULTIPLE times if she would be ready around noon, that giving an hours and 15 minute grace period would be plenty. The mean front desk lady reassured me ahead of time multiple times, of course, by noon! I go in to get my dog, and I say, "I'm here for Addy, my mom [that's who referred me] will pay for her service." This is when the front desk lady has a problem with me. She says, 'well, she hasn't called yet.' and I say, "y'all have her number, I'll give you her number, just go ahead and call her, I just got off the phone with her, she said it was fine for yall to call her." Front desk lady says again, "we can't do that, that's rude, I'm not calling her!" I said, "okay, whatever, let me call her." Front desk lady is big mad! I don't know why. I call her and put her on speakerphone. I said, "hey mom they need to talk to you and can't call you apparently." My mom says, "hey, seems Addy and Brandy aren't working out. Do you need my credit card number?" And she goes, "NO, YOUR DAUGHTER IS THE PROBLEM, HER DOG WAS SNAPPING HER JAWS." And I did interrupt to say, "no ma'am, we've not had this issue previously, I don't have this issue with her, and I called multiple times to check on her." And Front desk lady yells, "IM NOT DOING THIS, YOU'RE NASTY, I DON'T LIKE YOUR ATTITUDE, WE'LL CALL YOUR MOTHER BACK." And okay, I started laughing, because she JUST told me she couldn't/wouldn't be calling my mom, I needed to call her, right??? Her final words were that, "I'LL DO IT HOW I WANT TO DO IT." ...right, so you wanted me to call her...I did. Now you don't so and you're yelling at a customer who is NOT yelling at you...I just told you I wouldn't be the one paying for the service if y'all are 1) having issues and 2) unable to communicate those issues in a timely manner that you guys reassured me of and 3) asking me if I'm lying and insult me and 4) just generally extremely inflammatory to an already stressful ordeal. So that's when I said, "GIMME MY DOG." And they brought me my dog and we left and my mother paid for the service like was always the plan. DONT GO HERE. read more

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT take your dog here. They are more than rude And obviously expect you to have your dog groomed before coming there and getting groomed. Their solution to everything is apparently to just shave them!! I'd give negative a million stars if I could! ****Long story ahead**** Keep in mind I have a golden doodle-- a very curly one at that And he loves baths and groomers tell me all the time he just sits there so calmly waiting to get done. Anyways, I called to make an appointment and ask questions on pricing. The pricing to get groomed (which includes bath, blow dry, cut, anal gland expression, and toenails for my dog was $80) I proceeded to ask what it cost for JUST a bath and whoever was on the phone told me $30. I went ahead and made an appointment for my dog to get fully groomed. I have had to get him fully shaved twice before because he does get matted. I hate when he is shaved so I have taken responsibility to brush him all the time now to avoid that. I showed up to take my dog in for his appointment to get a standard "teddy bear" cut and told them I did NOT want him shaved. She proceeded to to tell me that my dog looked like he had "never been brushed before!" when in reality he was brushed the day before with no matting. I told her if she had any questions give me a call. I get a very rude phone call an hour later saying they bathed and blow dried him and that they were going to HAVE to shave him because he is ~sOoOoO matted~. I said stop service I will pick him up and pay the $30 For the bath and blow dry since that is all they had done. I go to pick him up and she says it is $45 because it's a bundle for a bath, blow dry, anal expression, and toenails. I said I'd like to see my dog before I paid (because first of all that wasn't the price I was told for just a bath) it took her 5 minutes of arguing with me before she would even let me se my dog (WHAT!!!) She finally brought him out and his toenails were not even Clipped like she told me and I said why are they not and she straight up lied to my face for about 3 minutes and then finally got her groomer to come and cut them in the lobby while holding his neck and him slamming up against the wall Trying to get away from them! I said I would pay them for what I thought was fit but I was not paying for services that were not received. She started yelling at me saying get out of her business over and over again so that is what I did. Let me add that I have paid well over $80 for grooming and well over $45 for a bath and blow dry so the pricing was/is not a problem. Their rude comments and them lying is the problem. I would not be surprised if they comment on here coming at me, but it would definitely show the kind of customer service they put out. read more

We were very happy with the cut our dog, Bailey, received. He's not an easy dog to groom as he doesn't trust strangers touching his ears or paws, and he also hates (in general) the dryer. Another groomer we had taken him in the past ended up not drying him after his bath because Bailey wouldn't have it with the dryer. But this one managed to do so and return a clean and sharp cocker spaniel to us. Both the front desk and the groomer (who has been doing this job for more than 10 years) were very friendly and seemed to genuinely care for the pets under their care. I only wish Bailey wouldn't have to wait in a crate for hours, but I guess that happens everywhere unless you order home service. Highly recommended! read more

On our second visit I explained the ridges from the previous visit to the groomer and she notified me it was because the length I asked for his clip was between his top coat and base coat. We took it a little shorter this time and it came out perfectly with no ridges or anything. I have a very protective and low socialized dog and he loves going here! If I could give negative stars I would! I just picked up my 3 dogs and they have razor burn so badly that I have to take them to the vet. The lady keeps telling us they have a skin condition, all of my dogs do not have a skin condition! They have regular vet visits and are all in good health. We have never had this issue with any other groomers! You can clearly see that it is razor burn! Do not go here for the sake of your fur babies!! read more

I decide to come as a walk in rather than making an appointment. There was a lady and her 16 year old daughter were at the front desk. They were nice and took my dog in. The only thing this that since I didn't have an appointment my pooch was there for 4 hours! Not a huge deal but he and I are inseparable so he was in the crate for 4 hours! I got a mini groom for my medium/large size mutt and it was $50. He looked great!! They really did a good job with him, I would just suggest making an appointment. They also don't have windows to see the grooming which is really unfortunate because they have a wall right as you walk in and could have easily did a one way mirror. It's unfortunate they didn't do that and it honestly makes me worry because there is no way to see how clean the place is or how they handle your pooch. I'm going to keep shopping around for other grooming places. They did a great job, I will give them that, just sketchy without a way to see the "back" where the grooming takes place. read more

I came in to get my get my dog's nails trimmed and filed. Most people don't do a great job because my dogs will pull their paws away making it difficult. They did a very good job, I was very pleased! We also walked in instead of scheduling an appt and was in and out very quickly! They are very fast and super nice! Will be coming back! read more

I am new in town and needed to get my cocker spaniel groomed. The last groomer (petsmart, i was desperate) totally chopped him up. Cuts 4 paws got him in the next day and they were so nice. I loved the fact that they have 3 lovely cats there to greet you. It took them hardly any time to get my dog done and when I picked him up, he looked great. They are very reasonable too. read more

I have been taking my Cairn Terrier here for several years and have for the most part been happy. The staff are friendly and listen to my wants although sometimes the groomers don't cut him the way I want but not bad. Over the last year or so I noticed that they were not doing his nails but paying for the full service. When I inquired about this they were ok will do next but didn't. I requested manager call but didn't. Then last month I had him in day before I went out of town on business. My friend keeps him and noticed that he was acting funny hiding under bed so an inspection revealed that they had cut both his ears and required a visit to the vet. I called and requested the owner contact me but she didn't even after the front desk said she would. I guess my business isn't wanted or needed. My best friend will never go back there.review helps others learn about great local businesses.
