We took a brief stint away during "Covid Times" but started back at the beginning of kindergarten. It has been an extremely positive experience. We found the few issues we've raised over the years have been taken seriously and handled professionally. Ms. Janice, Ms. Kat, and Ms. Diana have been fantastic - even when I'd forgotten to let them know my daughter wouldn't be on the after-school bus. They are extraordinarily kind, quick-witted and a pleasure to interact with on a daily basis. Our daughter's teachers, from Ms Joanna when she was an infant - to Ms Zee, once she hit elementry school -have taken care of our kid like she was one of their own. Every teacher and administrator that our daughter has come in contact with has kept a gentle sense of humor when confronted with our daughter's awe-inspiring imagination. We've been very fortunate to find a place that lets our kid be herself. If you are in the market for childcare - this is an excellent place to stash your kid for the day or after-school. Five - very enthusiastic - stars.

So you won't get any of your concerns properly heard or addressed. I never had such bad experience or felt abused/ignored with any Daycare/School in the past as I felt with TLE Georgetown. I had to send my daughter there because of the proximity from where I live. But I would say driving a lit longer and have your kids in a safe school with management/owner who sincerely value their customers is well invested and worth it. That being said, still I am giving that place one star while it deserves none, only because of Catarina, the admission coordinator. She is the sweetest person ever.

This review is not written lightly. We recently left Primrose after losing trust in the school's…read moreadministration and the stability of our daughter's classroom environment. From August through May, our daughter had eight different teachers in her classroom. That level of turnover made it very difficult for the classroom to have the consistency, structure, and experienced instruction we expected. At this age, children need a reliable presence to build emotional safety, trust, and developmental confidence. Instead, the classroom often felt unstable, and we saw noticeable changes in behavior during periods of teacher turnover and classroom stress. To be clear, this is not a criticism of every teacher. We are grateful for Ms. Jordan, Ms. Spivey, and Ms. McNulty, who cared for our daughter and did their best in a difficult environment. The issue, in our view, was administrative: hiring, training, supporting, and retaining teachers, as well as listening to parent concerns. We raised concerns earlier in the year and requested a classroom change, but we did not feel heard. When changes were eventually made, teachers were moved again, despite our desire for consistency. Over time, the repeated disruptions broke our confidence in the school. Several families ultimately chose to leave, which speaks to how serious the concerns became. We were disappointed there was no inquiry, exit conversation, or request for feedback after our departure. Without stronger administrative accountability, I worry other families may experience the same challenges.

This was not the right fit for our family…read more We recommend that prospective families ask teachers directly how challenging moments are handled in practice (including whether raising voices is used and whether children are excluded from certain activities or areas), and how communication is managed day to day. It's also important to ask how class size is determined throughout the day, including how part-time attendance is counted, and to confirm these details with both teachers and administration. These are details that may not be clear until you experience the classroom firsthand. We know how stressful it is to choose the right daycare--hope you find a great fit for your child

The care, love, and attention she receives each day is more than we ever could have hoped for. Ms Milinh, the head of school, has been incredible! She is thoughtful, responsive, and truly invested in every child. Her teachers, Ms Rocio and Ms Samantha are simply amazing. They are warm, kind, and so in-tune with our daughter's needs. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our daughter is in their care. Most importantly, our daughter LOVES going to school. She lights up when we arrive, and we've seen so much growth and happiness in her since starting. We are beyond grateful for this beautiful community!

On her very first day, she came home with wet underwear. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt and assumed it might have been an adjustment issue since she was new. But on her second day, she came home soiled with both urine and feces, and when we cleaned her up, we discovered that her skin was raw, red, and broken -- front, back, and between her private parts. This was a severe rash, the kind that happens only when a child has been left sitting in wet or dirty clothing for a long period of time. No child develops skin that damaged from a single brief accident or if they had been properly checked and cleaned. We immediately emailed the center director on Friday evening to report this serious issue, but no one ever responded. The center was closed Monday and Tuesday, but on Tuesday morning my husband went in person to speak with the director. She admitted she hadn't even checked her emails yet. He explained everything and asked for a refund, as we could not possibly send our child back after what happened. She said she would speak with corporate and call us back. Later that day, we received a call from a corporate representative in California. She completely dodged the issue and refused to acknowledge what happened. She kept repeating the same line -- that our child was "checked throughout the day." I calmly told her that if our child was checked and cared for properly, there's no way she would come home with her skin raw and damaged like that. Instead of addressing that point, she just kept repeating the same scripted response and acted as if the rash didn't exist. When I asked for escalation, she refused, claiming there was no one above her to speak with. She also said their "policy" required a 30-day withdrawal notice -- meaning we would not get a refund -- completely ignoring that we were withdrawing because of neglect and harm to our child. When I tried again to explain how serious this was, she became defensive and hung up on me. We trusted this center with our child's safety, hygiene, and care. They failed completely. Then, instead of showing concern or accountability, they deflected, denied, and dismissed what happened. Our daughter came home hurt and in pain -- and all we got from corporate was denial and a refusal to even acknowledge reality. If you are a parent considering this daycare, please think carefully. The lack of care, communication, and accountability we experienced is unacceptable. A daycare should be a safe, nurturing place -- not somewhere a child ends up in pain and parents are gaslighted when they speak up.

My daughter came in a little unruly and not yet socialized enough, she had a speech delay that was being worked on in speech therapy, and she had a lot of energy without direction. Her teachers, Mrs. Valeria, Mrs. Martin (no longer there), and Mrs. Richards (her new teacher), all treated J with such kindness and patience. I felt so comfortable leaving her in their care and I couldn't have asked for a better first school year for my daughter. I volunteered at the school and saw first hand the love these teachers show each and every day, not just my daughters teachers but every single teacher there. I wish I could have kept my daughter here longer but they only go up to pre-k, soon hopefully they'll offer their Bridge to Kinder program- if they do- JUMP ON IT! A cool tidbit of info- they work with the Georgetown Library and have the Wowmobile visit a couple times a year. It's really sweet and my daughter always spoke fondly of it. I have toured over 15 schools and this was the school I fell in love with and I have zero regrets. It was a 20-25 minute commute to take her to school and some people aren't willing to make a drive like that, especially with so many preschools and child care places available in every town- my daughters happiness and safety was worth the drive. Tour the school, meet their curriculum director, get a feel for it- I guarantee you'll love it.

Even when we moved from Georgetown I made the trip up just so make sure he could finish there. I am so impressed by the staff there. Most of if not all have a degree in child education so this isn't your run of the mill daycare where they hire kids fresh out of high school. This is his last year here as he will go to kindergarten in the fall and I feel like they have prepared him 100% for the transition to "real" school. I love the projects he brings home and the sweet songs they teach him. I highly recommend the learning tree to any parent in the area!
