This is one of the cleanest and well-organized grocery stores in the area. You'll see staff members almost always stocking shelves. They're friendly and always willing to help you find products. There's definitely a wide variety of shoppers here who are all friendly every time I've been in. At the front is a Korean Beauty section called The Face Shop with a big selection of mainly Korean beauty products! They also have a delicious Boba Tea counter for you to have a drink while shopping or grab on your way out. There's hot food as well to order which you can take to-go or sit at one of their tables to enjoy. Their departments include Meat, Live and Fresh Seafood counter, Grocery, Dairy, Frozen aisles, Wine, Beer, & Liquor, and a Deli and Bakery. The seafood counter is at the very back of the store next to the butcher in the back left corner. Their butcher features Halal meat which is a great option for Manchester! I like to go to the fresh produce section for vegetables and herbs and find dry ingredients in the aisles to make Thai food. They have a big selection of kimchi here too! Recently, we've been getting our meat here for our general cooking and it's always really great quality - especially the Halal chicken breast! This is a great place to find a variety of sake and soju as well as Asian lager beers like Tsingtao, Sapporo, and Chang. Sometimes there are long lines but the cashiers here are SO fast at ringing up the products that you will never have to wait long. This Asian market was recommended to us by other Yelpies, so we decided to come and explore it. There is a huge free parking lot right out front. In addition to the huge market area inside, there is a bubble tea stand, hot food with seating, and some skincare products across the front wall. The market itself is kind of amazing. There was an extensive selection of fresh Asian fruits, vegetables and herbs at great prices. Once we got into the aisles, there was, again, a huge selection - some of our favorite things were all the bottled sodas/coffees, the mochis and all the vinegars/sauces. In the back there is fish area that has live crabs, lobsters and even eels in addition to fresh fish. There is also a halal meat counter. As a Fil-Am, my go to is bagoong, atchara, and Pinoy-branded vinegars and soy sauces. I could NOT find any bagoong or atchara - but they had the typical Swan brand. I liked their seafood section with fresh options, which we bought a couple shrimps and fish from. We also indulged in snacks, fruits, and vegetables. This is a consistently busy supermarket filled with all of your favorite Asian products. They have a decent size parking lot, but people are constantly in and out. The front of the store is filled with top-of-the-line Korean skin care and a takeout restaurant. The store has everything you can imagine, including oils, every type of Ramen possible, fresh seafood, deli, a huge frozen section, and so many exotic fruits and vegetables. I have visited Pan-Asia Supermarket a couple of times with the family. This is one of my sisters favorite Asian grocer. I have walked down EVERY aisle, meticulously and slowly. If you're visiting for the first time, ensure that you take your time to browse each aisle. There a so many hidden gems in plain sight. The parking lot is usually packed but there is plenty of parking. This store is packed with a variety of goodies. The employees are friendly and helpful. They offer a wide variety of meat and seafood options from: fresh seafood, organs, poultry, duck, goat and more. I have gotten fresh kidney and chicken hearts for my fur-baby that I take home and bake for her as a treat or add it to her food. There is an entire aisle dedicated to ramen noodles and sauces. The options are endless from spicy to super exotic. There have sake, beers and other alcohol options. The fruit and vegetable options as well as the frozen food aisles are worth checking out. The pepper tofu is beautifully seasoned, just take home and pop into the air fryer to create a delicious meal. I love the Chinese egg plant, uniquely different and delicious. We have tried the Boba Tea spot inside, very friendly employees and delicious teas, reasonably priced. This past visit we finally tried the restaurant. I highly recommend ordering #17, In opted out of adding a protein to the noodles. The noodles were absolutely delicious! Beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The noodles were only $7.99 and easily fed 3. The noodles were soo good I'm ordering them for "Friends Giving". I also ordered a pound of pork belly and shrimp fried rice. The next visit I'm trying the duck and the roasted pork. Overall, Pan-Asia is a wonderful Asian Market located in West County. If your store has a strict no-return policy the moment a tag is removed, then you HAVE TO put a huge, impossible-to-miss warning sticker ON EVERY SINGLE ITEM!! The second I got home and placed them in the sink, my kids helpfully pulled the tags off. When I discovered the basin doesn't fit properly, I immediately brought everything back with the original receipt. Yes, the paper tags were gone (the sticky glue residue is still clearly visible on the items!), and there are exactly THREE tiny water marks from literally resting in the sink for a few minutes. Everything else is still gleaming, brand-new, never used! Yet your staff refused to give me a single cent of my money, even with proof of purchase from just days ago. They kept my items and sent me home empty-handed because of three microscopic water spots and missing paper tags that any normal person removes the moment they get home! I have been a loyal customer since the very first day Pan Asia opened its doors. I have spent thousands of thousands of dollars in your store over the years. To treat a long-time customer like this over such a petty, ridiculous, completely unreasonable "unwritten" rule is beyond belief. This policy makes zero sense, punishes honest customers for completely normal behavior, and basically encourages you to keep people's money for brand-new items they never even got to use. Coming to Missouri I initially just assumed there would be no asian groceries at all, and therefore if this were the only place I would probably rank it relatively higher as saving grace. Unfortunately, there are better options, such as east east oriental, which is much better and not far away. What is the problem with Pan Asia? My issue is primarily with the packaged goods. Every item I've gotten from them has wound up stale. My feeling is that even though a lot of these items are within their best buy date, they've been sitting on the shelf for way too long. I don't know why this is the case I will say they have a good selection of produce and seafood, which I've had a little of, which is decent. They also offer snacks and other delightful treats you wouldn't see in a Schucks or a different grocery store.
