They also sell loaves of bread and other baked goods to take home. (I believe he called it a quesito but I could be wrong.) The owner also stressed that the desserts in the case change in variety daily so what may be there one day won't be there the next. All in all - this business is fantastic in every way (right down to the fact that the room was absolutely spotless and sparkling clean) and we will be back next time we are in Bismarck! For a few minutes we tried to tell her exactly what a sweetheart cake is and what we wanted on it. She sort of shoo'd us away and told us to go look at the crusty, fake cakes on display in the shop. We left instead. I was so disappointed in her customer service that I'm giving her two stars. Her selection of product is great. Once you get beyond the looks the cake was decidedly average. The cake itself was fine. It was neither poor nor distinguished. Just an average cake, probably about like you'd get at a super market. It's clear they're not using some world-class chocolate here or fantastic ingredients. So if "fine" works for you, I think you'll be pleased. If you're looking for something truly special, I'm afraid this isn't it.
