My friend and I were sat very quickly, and our drink order taken and brought back to our table. In all honesty the buffet wasn't bad, it did have some good items. The green beans, mushrooms, fried zucchini, imagination crab salad, egg drop soup and Chinese Donuts were good. The egg rolls, spring rolls, crab rangoon were soggy. The pot stickers were very dry... The ice tea pot could use a good scrubbing out and more sugar added for sweet tea... The restaurant was clean and quiet when we went in and the food was warm. My family and I walked into the establishment and immediately was hit with a waft of hot air because they did not have an AC working. It was literally colder outside than it was inside. I got a few of the meat products which was OK. I had a stomach ache after my wife had the seafood special. After consuming a little bit of it. Five minutes later she was sent into the bathroom with food poisoning and then had to later on go to the hospital, which I can only imagine this was from neglect of their seafood and just being lazy and not caring about getting a customer sick thankfully my children did not eat this. It's been two days later and my wife is just barely gotten out of the hospital. I highly recommend not coming here specially since they were also prepping their food in the lobby. With no gloves and no sign of sanitation. This place needs to be shut down. Please do yourself a favor, dear your friends and family a favor. Walk in To Go Order. Chicken Lo Mein Combo, Won Ton Soup, Pork Fried Won Tons. First of all, everything had an off color, like dirty grease. Egg Roll, Fried WonTons, Sweet and Sour Sauce, Fried Rice, WonTon Soup all tasted bad. How do you mess up Won Ton Soup? It looked like it was in Pickle Juice. I wouldn't and didn't feed this crap to my Chickens. At least I can you the large Plastic WonTon container for Chicken Feed. Waste of Time and Money. We can find something way better. read more

The food was hit or miss on taste, appearance and temperature. The service was not there. I told the waiter 2 times my grandson didn't eat but he still charged me for a Saturday kids' menu. He and the person I guessed was the manager as she didn't care. The place is old and needs new decor and a very good cleaning. The men's room had running toilet and urinal. No Soap or paper Towels and smelt musty. I would advise you to make sure they know any children will not eat. My daughter and boyfriend came in to get my keys after eating at Taco Bell and the waiter was staring to make sure they didn't take a little bite. We should have eaten at Taco Bell or KFC. This review is 3* based on similar Chinese buffets, but 2* for restaurants generally. I come to the area once a year, and have been here twice (not much to choose from in Sparta). Last year was better, but yesterday was more disappointing. Seems they charge more for dinner on weekends and add some seafood. None of these were appetizing. I mean, who puts cheese on mussels? The sushi was particularly disappointing, esp. the watery wasabi "sauce" from a squeeze bottle, So we're down to the usual Chinese daily buffet items, and these were just fine. I have ALWAYS loved this restaurant. In fact, even though I only go back to my "home town" once every 365 days, I always make sure to stop at this restaurant. I consider myself a bit of a Chinese restaurant connoisseur- and their teriyaki chicken is the best that I've ever had. I could write a book about how perfect that chicken is . There are always flies around the food when I have been in there. No matter the time of day I've been in there the food has never tasted fresh. Cream cheese wontons have always been soggy and not crisp. read more
