Ordered Teriyaki Chicken and Fried Rice....the chicken had the strangest texture and had little to no sauce or flavor, trashed the entire dish. The fried rice was very dry and had a few vegetables and eggs and no flavor except for adding soy sauce. I cannot recommend and don't plan to return. read more

I placed on online order at 7:10 to be picked up at 8:00 pm. When I went in, they said they didn't have it and I would need to come back the next day to get a refund as no one working there could provide the refund. When I went in the next day to speak with a manager, as instructed, the manager wasn't there and I was unable to get a refund. Now I'll need to dispute the charges with my bank. To me, this is theft. If I went to a restaurant and left without paying, that is theft. This is the same thing. And to top it all off. The manager knows this is an issue and has yet to respond to my issue. I assume they are hoping I forget about it. Would not advise going to this establishment. read more

Terrible service. They sold us food at 9:20 pm and at 9:25 they started lifting the chairs and throwing water on the floor and asked us to leave because they were closing at 9:30. No one warned us when we ordered or when we paid. Also on the website it said that the place was open until 10 pm. Grocery store and very bad service, the workers clearly wanted to leave earlier than expected. We had to leave half of the food that we didn't get to eat. Very unpleasant! I've eaten at quite a few Panda Express locations across the US (many motorhome trips) and not only was the Cookeville location the cleanest of any , they are also the cleanest restaurant I think I've ever been in. Staff was very pleasant, portions were correct, food was standard excellent quality. Can't ask for more. read more

I'm a little torn about giving the Panda Express at this location two starts. The staff was friendly and prompt. However, I have eaten here twice on deferent dates and both times the portion size of my entres were very small. The first time I ordered a bowl and when I opened it, it was only filled 3/4 of the way up. On the next visit, I was planning on sharing the three item entree with my boyfriend and to our surprise, when we got home, there was only enough food to feed one hungry person, or two small portions for two people. I'm a fan of Panda Express and have visited hundreds of different Panda Express locations in the west coast, as well as in Florida. I have never come across these meager portions as I did from the Cookeville location. read more

Absolutely amazing, I order from this restaurant pretty often and they always go beyond amazing. They put a lot of care into making the takeout bags prepared with sauces and package it well. the food is always exceptional and the service is usually stelar. they deserve much more credit, as a person who works in a restaurant i know sometimes we arent always 100%, however, people tend to forget we're human too. We have off days- take that into consideration before leaving a bad review. read more

As far as fast food restaurants go this one is pretty good. Food seemed fresh and not bad compared to mom and pop Chinese restaurants. This was only my second time eating at Panda Express and it really didn't disappoint. The portions were decent in size and the prices were reasonable. After sitting in drive through line with only two cars ahead of me for 15 minutes for a restaurant not serving inside I finally order. When I get to the window they hand me my meal and fortunately I checked they had not included one of the entrees. When we mentioned it they told us to pull around it would be out in a few minutes. 12 minutes later I had my original order which was now ice cold and I went inside I was told that they were almost done making it. Two minutes later they tell me they don't actually have that menu item right now and offered me another entree which they could have out in 10 minutes. I explained my other food was cold to which I was told I can eat that while I wait and was offered an egg role. I asked for my money back and was asked to go get my cold food from the car. Our order was ready very quickly. A+ for service! However the food itself was not impressive. The noodles were bland and the rangoons were over cooked and had a funny taste.. Everything tasted like it came from a box and had just been reheated. Hardly ANY flavor. My first time eating at a Panda Express was in Florida and it was absolutely delicious however this was my first time eating at the cookeville location with my family and we were all disappointed. read more
