It was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too strong (but rich coffee flavor) and creamy but not oily, just so delicious. And the location is a nice spot too. It looked as much like an art gallery as it did a coffee spot. It is small but it has nice designated areas to work and relax. When I was there it was also quiet which is a nice change from a lot of coffee shops. And I believe it was the Owner who made my drink and she was very friendly and chill without being you know that kind of corporate-y overly effusive. The whole vibe could be summed up as relaxed. It's a really relaxed and relaxing environment. But if nothing else I will absolutely be back for that latte, it was *delicious*.

Walk by, and... you have keen eyes if you catch the sign by the door. Walk in, and you're welcomed by the most inviting woman who's ready to make you one of the best espressos and drinks from scratch. I'm not one to be venture out of a basic iced latte, but I knew I had to go for one of their seasonals when they had black sesame - unfortunately sold out! (Even at 11am... must be popular!) Somehow, some way, I had the privilege of trying their iced oat latte with black sesame foam. There was everything to like about this drink from the perfectly bold espresso - a good balance of nutty but toasty - but also a sesame cream foam. After getting the drinks, there is a quiet space to sit around and lounge about. Have a book or magazine? The couch is perfect. Have work to do? There's small tables in the hallway or even a large table and desk inside the private room. Comfortably enough, the ambiance itself is best described as open arms exclaiming "Welcome Home!" almost like a friend or neighbor is inviting you to their apartment for a cup of coffee. Wi-Fi and outlets are definitely available here. The only thing to bring to reach a flow state is your own set of noise cancelling earbuds. The walls and doors are indeed paper thin, and the traffic from the street does have a way of echoing and rumbling these walls. Other than that, though, my only bittersweet feeling with sharing this glowing review of Espresso Social Club is that finding space to work on future visits might now be a bit more competitive.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the small nook for reading and ample places to eat and work. The window stations all had outlets and there was even a printer! I ordered the lox bagel with egg and a hot pistachio latte. The latte was unexpected. I read pistachio/raspberry, but didn't expect to taste pieces of pistachio and raspberries. I liked it! Keep this in mind for those of you that don't like texture. Carefully read the description or ask ahead of time. Look at my bagel sandwich. It was so thoughtfully made. It made me excited to eat it and it was pretty tasty too. I prefer my bagels a little more toasted, but that's no fault of theirs. I will definitely come back anytime. I get a chance to taste some of their other drinks and try their oatmeal. What would have made this visit perfect is if they had some background music playing. It was just..different to be in a coffee space just hearing sounds of the fridge, AC, feel shuffling and general operations.. hehe. Great for studying I guess. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. I thankfully found a parking spot in a retail center.

You can really taste the quality in every sip, and it's clear they take their sourcing and preparation seriously. The minimalistic interior is also a plus for this location. I decided to try something new and went for the Chocolate Forest Matcha... absolutely divine. Rich, earthy, slightly sweet, and so beautifully balanced. What surprised me most is how different the inside feels compared to the outside. From the street, it looks a little gahtto and unassuming, but the moment you step in, it's a completely different world -- cozy, bright, warm, and welcoming. It's the kind of space that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. Damo continues to be one of those rare spots where the drinks are memorable and the atmosphere feels like a little hidden gem.

Cold brew vanilla: Delicious, I love that tou can see the vanilla cream on top. This was definitely what I needed to wake me up. 2. Matcha einspener: I tasted this and immediately loved it when leaving the store. I saved it for last. It was so light and refreshing. I could easily drink it all day if they had a bigger size lol. I was hoping to try the seasonal mango cream matcha, but sadly it was gone. 3. Pastries: I wanted to try the sampler but I don't thinking they had it yet. I tried one of the cinnamon pastries. It was soft and very cinnamony. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll be back soon.
