Their main point of contact is through Instagram or TikTok @iyalicoffee. I purchased two drinks, a plain iced latte with a pistachio cold foam and a hot Cafe de Olla. The cost was $13 without tip. They do sell baked goods, made in-house, and they were sold out by the time I visited. The pistachio cold foam added the perfect amount of sweetness to the plain latte. The cinnamon in the Cafe de Olla is always my favorite part, and theirs has a good amount. I highly recommend! They are right at the corner, so you won't miss them. Their coffee stand is super cute and welcoming! There is free street parking. They have a couple of benches for folks who are waiting for their drinks. They accept Zelle or Venmo. I got to meet Jose, 1/2 of Iyali coffee. He was awesome! Please do not take my word for it and give them a try!!

I had my whole day planned out with a list of events to attend but first I wanted to stop by Patria and grab some coffee to start my morning off. Located in a parking lot next to Wilson Park on Compton Blvd and Alameda Street you'll find this nice cut lawn in front of this small white building, Patria Coffee Roaster. Depending on your time of arrival, the parking lot can be full but it's cool cuz there's also street parking available. I was able to park in the lot. After walking in I was welcomed and greeted with positive energy from 2 young ladies who I forgot their names but we'll just call them "A" and "C" lol. A guy to my right was sitting next to the window working on his laptop. And two others against the wall sipping their coffees and doing whatever on their phones. A customer was at the register ordering while another customer walked in to stand in line behind me. I let her go in front of me while I took pics and recorded footage. I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space. It feels welcoming and safe. The restroom was clean. They also have many different events held there. If you're ever in the area definitely pull up and check em' out. It's black owned as well. I actually ended up sitting there in the lot sipping my coffee while working on my video to post on social media. The coffee was good and tasteful. Didn't need any sugar.
