And the time we waited for two drinks was 28 minutes from the time we got in line, (with no one ahead of us in line) not worth it at all The girls were friendly but they were not efficient in service. They advertise chisme in form of little post it notes but you can't actually write any chisme in yourself. They might have run out of post it notes but who knows. The coffee shop was pretty and low lit which I appreciate but it was very small and felt kind of cluttered. They have outdoor seating tho. Paid $18.58 just to toss my coffee in the trash.... Im a bit of a coffee snob so please take this review with a grain of salt.

The shop itself is super busy with people doing work in laptops or just hanging out. There's always plenty of seating outside regardless. They were sold out of the barley popping boba on Friday and over the weekend. We've come by a few times and the matcha and hojicha drinks were watered down. This time I opted for the Pink Berry and Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea. The pink berry is depicted as a yogurt strawberry puree drink. I got a drink that was mostly a smoothie of ice with strawberry flavor. The consistency was more liquidy and lacked any yogurt creaminess. Phoenix oolong milk tea was more on the milk tasting side. The tea taste was definitely there, but the milk and tea didn't taste like it blended well together at all. I'm overall mixed about coming here since it is a hit or miss on if the drinks will be watered down or not. Staff is always busy filling orders and it does take some time to get the drinks. IIt's a nice space to work at and hopefully drinks will improve.

I had my whole day planned out with a list of events to attend but first I wanted to stop by Patria and grab some coffee to start my morning off. Located in a parking lot next to Wilson Park on Compton Blvd and Alameda Street you'll find this nice cut lawn in front of this small white building, Patria Coffee Roaster. Depending on your time of arrival, the parking lot can be full but it's cool cuz there's also street parking available. I was able to park in the lot. After walking in I was welcomed and greeted with positive energy from 2 young ladies who I forgot their names but we'll just call them "A" and "C" lol. A guy to my right was sitting next to the window working on his laptop. And two others against the wall sipping their coffees and doing whatever on their phones. A customer was at the register ordering while another customer walked in to stand in line behind me. I let her go in front of me while I took pics and recorded footage. I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space. It feels welcoming and safe. The restroom was clean. They also have many different events held there. If you're ever in the area definitely pull up and check em' out. It's black owned as well. I actually ended up sitting there in the lot sipping my coffee while working on my video to post on social media. The coffee was good and tasteful. Didn't need any sugar. Great vibes and great coffee. You can even go the park right next door and get your steps in or just chill. I definitely recommend coming here. The last two times, however, the matcha and milk were already completely mixed together, there was barely any cream on top, and the drink tasted different from what I've had before. I'm not sure if this is an issue with certain baristas or overall consistency, but I do think management should make sure drinks are being prepared accurately and match what is shown on the menu. I also recommend checking your drink before leaving. Mine was partially covered by the cup holder, so I didn't notice the difference until after I had already left. For May, TLC Coffee Co. was featured. This vendor had a cute setup and it was a sweet duo of mom and daughter. Ya'll already know lavender drinks are my thing of the moment so I had the iced honey lavender latte. I could not taste any honey but the lavender syrup, which is homemade, was good. The coffee beans, however, just didn't come through on this drink though, hence the three . So, for me it was just another latte lacking that sparkle I look for in my coffee. Their theme is Friends and being a fan of the show, I think there is potential to get more creative with their decor. I do like that they have books and boardgames for their guests.
